Justin Bieber eyes R-rated comedy

After his dramatic turn as a troubled teen on "CSI," Justin Bieber is looking to lighten up by starring in a new comedy with Ashton Kutcher. According to the L.A. Times, the singer is planning to star in "What Would Kenny Do?", a story about a 17-year-old who encounters a hologram of a man (Kutcher) who claims to be a 30-something version of him. The hologram then helps the boy navigate the turbulent waters of high school. But Beliebers beware: The adult-humored film — which is expected to shoot next year — is currently aiming for an R rating. This isn't the first time Bieber and Kutcher have been attached to the same project. In January, Kutcher revealed he had talked to the teen idol about taking over a revamped version of his prank show "Punk'd." "He's a nice kid and he's a funny kid — and people don't know he's a funny kid yet … and he's sneaky," said Kutcher. "And I like sneaky people."

Prince William won't wear a wedding band

For her, a band of royal gold. For him ... a bare ring finger! Prince William is going to eschew the modern-day tradition of men wearing wedding bands. A spokeswoman at the palace tells PEOPLE, "There is only going to be one ring, in accordance with the couple's wishes." Not to worry, royal watchers: Kate Middleton will have a wedding band, and it will be made from Welsh gold. PEOPLE.com: William & Kate's fairy-tale romance A tiny amount of gold mined from the Welsh mountains (not far from where the couple will start their married life on Anglesey,) has been kept in the royal vaults since it was originally presented to William's grandmother, Queen Elizabeth. The Queen has "given a piece of the gold that has been in the family for many years to Prince William as a gift," a palace source says. An expert craftsman, unnamed by the palace but likely to be the Crown Jeweler Harry Collins, has been tasked with fashioning the nugget into a piece for Kate. Worth noting: Prince Charles does wear a wedding band -- sometimes spotted underneath his signet ring.

Off Her Rockers

The octogenarian is taking on yet another project: A reality show, 'Betty White's Off Their Rockers.' The hidden camera project follows a group of seniors who play jokes on younger people. The star tells ABC, 'People have been telling me that I'm 'off my rocker' for years — now I can prove it.'

Mariah Carey's Husband Reveals Due Date

Mariah Carey's husband Nick Cannon has revealed that the singer is due to give birth on 14th May 2011. Mariah Carey, the American singer who is pregnant with twins, is due to give birth on 14th May 2011, according to her husband Nick Cannon who spoke to the Los Angeles Times. The 41-year-old was hospitalized at the weekend with contractions, but she is now resting at home. Actor and comedian Cannon said he panicked over the possible early arrival of the babies, saying, "They're calling it a scare, but really, it was just nerve-racking. We were in the hospital from 4 a.m. until I don't even know. The thing with twins is that you want them in their natural incubator as long as possible. They might be ready to come out, but we need them to stay in for a while". Cannon added that his wife is "super-ready" for the birth and confirmed that official due date as 14th May 2011. He also joked about the baby gifts that the couple have been receiving, saying, "We got so much stuff. ... There's all these giant stuffed animals, it looks like Noah's Arc in here". Mariah Carey has been keeping fans updated on the progress of her pregnancy via her Twitter page. She tweeted about her hospital trip earlier this week, saying, "They almost came on 3/27- happy anniversary in deed!!! We have a few more weeks 2 go but- wow!!!".

Chris Brown's 'F.A.M.E.' lands at No. 1

The predictions proved to be right - Chris Brown has arrived at the top of the charts this week. The singer, who has made headlines with his outburst at “Good Morning America," has achieved his first No. 1 album with his latest effort, “F.A.M.E.” According to Billboard.com, the record sits atop the Billboard 200 chart with 270,000 sold. His other albums, 2005’s self-titled debut “Chris Brown” and 2009’s “Graffiti,” landed at No. 2 and No. 7 on the chart, respectively. Meanwhile, Jennifer Hudson settles into the No. 2 spot this week with her second album, "I Remember Me," selling 165,000, while Adele's "21" falls from No. 1 to No. 3.

Kevin Federline is set to be a father for the fifth time. Kevin Federline, the American former backup dancer, is expecting his fifth child and his first with new girlfriend Victoria Prince, reports People Magazine. The singer was granted visitation rights that would slowly increase over time. In recent years, Kevin Federline has appeared on a number of reality television shows, most notably, 'Celebrity Fit Club'. He played a border guard in the 2009 movie 'American Pie Presents: The Book of Love' and made a brief appearance in the Wwe (World Wrestling Entertainment).

Beyonce and Her Dad: Why We Split Professionally

Beyonce is all grown up. After a professional lifetime together, the superstar and her father, Matthew Knowles, have parted ways, with Matthew no longer managing the "Halo" singer. PHOTOS: Beyonce and Jay-Z's romance "I've only parted ways with my father on a business level," Beyonce tells UsMagazine.com in an exclusive statement. "He is my father for life and I love my dad dearly. I am grateful for everything he has taught me. I grew up watching both he and my mother [Tina Knowles] manage and own their own businesses. They were hard-working entrepreneurs and I will continue to follow in their footsteps." PHOTOS: Her amazing bikini body Indeed, Matthew Knowles, with then-wife Tina at his side, was instrumental in launching his daughter's career as a young singer and entertainer, from the beginning of Destiny's Child and even earlier. Matthew explains to Us exclusively of the momentous decision: "We mutually agreed to part ways in terms of me managing Beyonce, as my focus is in the investment of Music World Entertainment's growing gospel and inspirational music division, which includes Top 10 artists Trinity 5:7, Brian Courtney Wilson, Micha Stampley, Vanessa Bell Armstrong and Dr. Juanita Bynum." PHOTOS: How Beyonce has evolved over the years He continues: "Because of the success of all of these artists, my focus has to be on gospel now. I am also still going to continue on with my joint venture with Columbia to work on Destiny's Child and develop new artists, like the UK pop band From Above, plus Music World's kids music division." As for who will now manage the superstar, who plans to release a new album (a follow-up to her smash I Am . . . Sasha Fierce) later this year? "Beyonce has the knowledge and experience to make that decision and no final decision has been made yet," Matthew says.

Jennifer Hudson to Play Oprah in Her Biopic

John Dixon is working on a new unauthorized movie project on the Bigger Than Life broadcast mogul, Oprah Winfrey....Dixon is also the first to suggest that Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson play the lead role of Oprah. “I feel that Hudson will no doubt rein in another Academy nomination for her portrayal of Oprah. I see many similarities in Winfrey and Hudson, not only do they look and act alike as in (The Color Purple and The Secret Life Of Bees) but they also seem to have the same positive vibe.” Hmmm, who do you think will play Stedman?

Katie Holmes Dresses Down for Premiere

Maybe Katie Holmes was responding to Anne Hathaway's dig at her overly poised personality. For her recent premiere of "The Kennedys," where she plays Jackie Kennedy, Holmes ditched the high-design fare that has become her signature on red carpets. While no one could accuse her of coming across as stuffy, her casual choice actually verged on under-dressing for the event. The actress stepped out in a pale blue Ralph Lauren knit dress. Of course, it was still runway (the Spring 2011 collection, for those keeping track), but it was part of the casual collection. Her jewelry was an equally understated small 'S' pendant -- presumably for 'Suri.' When any red carpet is an opportunity to bring out the towering heels and clingy cocktail dress, a sundress is a sharp departure from the usual uniform. Though it was admittedly a premiere for a smaller film, it is still noteworthy that she didn't go with even the most basic little black dress for a movie she is headlining. Circa 2007, WireImage Even more noteworthy may be that this new, relaxed Katie seems less edgy and more innocent. The casual stance calls to mind her "Dawson's Creek" days, and the loose long waves are a far cry from the severe bob we've seen her sport at the beginning of her days as Mrs. Cruise. Not to read too much into this fashion moment, since she still has a fashionista reputation to uphold, along with a line to promote. But perhaps Katie Holmes is finding her equilibrium (and finding that it isn't always the couturista). Welcome back -- even just for the night -- Joey Potter.

Kourtney Kardashian debuts on 'One Life to Live'

If you're Kourtney Kardashian, you don't just sit at home watching your favorite soap opera -- you star in it. The eldest Kardashian sister lived out a lifelong dream when she made her debut on the ABC soap "One Life to Live" as Kassandra Kavanaugh, a wayward lawyer with a knack for trouble. While Kardashian, 31, is no stranger to cameras or drama, memorizing her script -- as documented on her reality show "Kourtney and Kim Take New York" -- was a struggle. "I'd thought I'd have two lines," the reality star said. "But my script is so long ... I'm not an actress." Fortunately, Kardashian's scene proved to be deliciously campy, thanks in part to her costar, OLTL's David Fumero and another guest star, Wendy Williams. The current "Dancing With the Stars" contestant played news anchor Phyllis Rose on the mock local news show "Access Llanview." Williams introduced Kardashian as "none other than local ambulance chaser Kassandra Kavanuagh. That's right," she said, "with two Ks." "One Life to Live" airs Monday through Friday (2 p.m. ET) on ABC.

Who's in the Royal wedding party?

Anyone wondering whether they'd make the cut can breathe easy - Prince William and Kate Middleton's bridal party has been selected and announced. Prince Harry will serve as best man while Kate's sister Pippa will be the maid of honor. One of Pippa's duties is to keep the as yet unseen, top secret wedding gown displayed properly. No word yet on whether she'll be baking gingerbread men with frosting, erm, "anatomy" for the bachelorette party at which she'll force Kate to drink through an inappropriate straw all night at a swanky nightclub. (Oh wait, that was MY sister!) The remainder of the wedding party is all children who will serve as pageboys and bridesmaids - an English tradition. The little ones, four girls and two boys, range in age from three-years-old to 10-years-old: •Lady Louise Windsor, 7, daughter of William's Uncle Edward and his wife, Sophie, the Earl and Countess of Wessex •Hon. Margarita Armstrong-Jones, 8, daughter of the Queen's nephew Viscount Linley and his wife, Serena •Grace van Cutsem, 3, daughter of Hugh van Cutsem, dear friend of William and Kate •Eliza Lopes, 3, granddaughter of Camilla Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall (formerly known as Camilla parker-Bowles) •Tom Pettifer, 8, William's godson and the son of his former nanny •William Lowther-Pinkerton, 10, son of Jamie Lowther-Pinker, William and Harry's private secretary

Paris Hilton and Lil Wayne bond over jail time

It turns out rapper Lil Wayne and hotel heiress Paris Hilton have more in common than one might think. In fact, during the course of their Q&A in the April issue of Interview magazine, the duo bonded over having served jail time. "For me it was OK, because it just meant that I was alone with my thoughts," said Wayne, who served eight months at New York's Rikers Island for a gun possession charge, on spending time in solitary confinement. "There were times when it was pretty tough to be by yourself, and to have no television, no sort of nothing. That was kind of tough. But I didn't have to be in there long. It was just a month. I was OK. I did fine." Hilton, who served time at an all-women's facility in 2007 after violating probation on a DUI incident, tells the rapper, "I had to do 24 nights in solitary… I know how it is." Wayne goes on to say that "words cannot explain" the joy he felt after being released from prison, and Hilton agrees that she was equally elated. "I know how you feel," she laughs. "It's the best feeling in the world when you come out." The two wrap up their interview by agreeing to collaborate on a tune for Hilton's upcoming sophomore album. "Well, if you would be on the album, then I would be honored. That would be the sickest thing," Hilton tells the musician. "I have a recording studio that I built in my house — and a nightclub too." (Wayne's response to that piece of info? "You're so f--in' rich.") Hilton explains, "I built one, yeah, because I don’t really like to go out as much as I used to, so I just built a club at my house with the studio attached to it… It’s really elegant." Although, Hilton notes, "it has a stripper pole, so maybe it’s not that elegant."

'DWTS' host: Don't have me interview Chris Brown

Chris Brown is set to perform on "Dancing With the Stars" tonight, just one week after his off-camera outburst at "Good Morning America." As we all know by now, Brown stormily departed the set after anchor Robin Roberts questioned him about his 2009 assault case involving Rihanna, and a window in his dressing room was found smashed. While some fans aren't happy that the star is appearing on the family friendly show, the show's host, Tom Bergeron, doesn't sound eager to talk to Brown either. He told Ryan Seacrest on the "Idol" host's KISS FM radio show, "I did say to the producers that it might be to their advantage to not have me interview him because my natural tendency would be to say something." Bergeron went on, "Don't put me in a position where you're asking me to not say something, cause I won't really do that." It looks as if tonight's show should be pretty interesting. Will you watch?

Charlie Sheen's Tour Is Not Selling Out, After All

The official line on Charlie Sheen's ill-defined touring show is that he's been selling out venues around the country, and in record time. It's a great comeback story for the recently fired star of "Two and a Half Men" — or it would be, if it were true. CNBC contributor Jane Wells has looked into the matter, and reports that, in fact, many tickets to Sheen's shows are still available. The tour kicks off this Saturday in Detroit, where, Wells found, there were many tickets to be had. Secondary ticket sellers seem to have bought the bulk of the inventory, but are apparently finding demand to be less than expected: When Wells checked on StubHub, she discovered that "many tickets are selling for LESS THAN FACE VALUE [emphasis hers, though I certainly endorse it]." Secondary research by this reporter indicated that many good tickets — including deluxe "Meet & Greet" packages that allow buyers to interact directly with Sheen — are still available for shows in New York, Boston, and Toronto, Ontario, Canada. As of Friday, there were still 1,449 tickets available on StubHub for the Detroit show — that's at least 28% of tickets remaining unsold. (A rep for Sheen declined to comment on ticket availability.) It seems pretty obvious why audiences aren't flocking to see Sheen live. For one thing, we've seen plenty of him (some might say too much) on free media for the past month and a half. For another, potential attendees have no idea what, exactly, the show would consist of. Sure, there are many fans of the man's acting, but if he's not delivering sitcom lines, what is Sheen going to do? Sing? Do standup? Perform dramatic monologues? Rant at the audience like he did in his Sheen's Korner videos? Does any of that seem worth spending any amount of money on? The bigger question is why any media outlet accepted the story of the tour's immense success. TMZ's source is unspecified, other than possibly Sheen's Twitter feed (and we can all make our own judgments as to his truthfulness). So far, Sheen has not responded to Wells's story — not even to call her a troll.

Rihanna takes it off for Rolling Stone

Remember the days when pop singer Rihanna was wholesome and classy and would never strip for the cover of a national magazine just to sell records? Well, apparently those days are over. Rihanna, 23, poses practically naked on the cover of this week’s Rolling Stone magazine, which hits newsstands on Wednesday (Mar 30). The artsy photos were shot by famed photog Mark Seliger exclusively for RS. Rihanna’s management is still scrambling to dispute news stories that suggests Rihanna’s tour is not selling well in the U.S. Why is it so hard to believe that she’s not selling tickets here? It’s no secret that here in the US Rihanna is known more for her looks than she is for her singing ability. She may be hawt overseas, but here in the U.S., she simply doesn’t pack huge arenas — even if she poses half naked on magazine covers.

Oprah: Last Show to Air May 25, 2011

Oprah's last show is just a month and a half away. Harpo Productions confirmed on Monday that the final edition of the U.S. chat series "The Oprah Winfrey Show" will be aired on May 25th. Winfrey announced in 2009 that the show's 2010-11 season, its 25th, would be its last. Winfrey recently established her own cable television network and is wrapping up her show to concentrate on it. The Hollywood Reporter said her production company confirmed Friday the "Oprah" finale will be May 25. Winfrey previously told the entertainment industry trade newspaper the Harpo team, including President Sheri Salata, would be planning the last two episodes of her show. "I'm allowing for Sheri and the team to plan two days of full surprises," Winfrey said. "I've given up control for the last two days. It's a lot to relinquish. I had to pray on that ... and get a guarantee from Sheri there would be no strippers or dancing people coming out of shells."

Jessica Simpson would consider eloping with Eric Johnson

Keep an eye out for a wedding ring to pop up out of nowhere on Jessica Simpson's finger. The star, who is engaged to former NFL player Eric Johnson, has revealed she's open to marrying her man in secret -- and says there's no wedding date set as yet. "We've both been married before," Simpson, 30, tells Women's Wear Daily in a new interview. "We're enjoying our commitment to each other. We want to take our time ... We might elope if it gets to that point." Simpson, who has said in the past that she wants a simple wedding and possibly to be married by Christmas 2011, also revealed there's one talented fashion mogul who will definitely have a hand in designing her wedding dress -- herself. "I will be part of designing my own wedding gown," she says. As for Johnson joining the family business, Simpson says that's not in the cards. "Eric's a great guy. He's taking art classes at UCLA. He's very artistic," she says. "It's nice to have an artistic athlete. You don't find that too much." And when they're not working? "We're very relaxed. It takes a lot to get us stressed out," Simpson says. "We talk through everything. You'll see him off in the corner, and what's Eric doing? He's just meditating." Johnson "is really into art, and I am, as well," she adds. "We've been watching a lot of fun documentaries and going to art galleries and hanging out with some cool painters." "My house is my little château," Simpson says. "I like to stay home with my friends and cook, or we all order in. My house is a revolving door."

Then, she said, "They almost came on 3/27- happy anniversary in deed!!! We have a few more weeks 2 go but- wow!!!: )" Meanwhile, Papa-to-be Nick Cannon, 30, did some Tweeting of his own on Thursday. I am in awe of my wife!"

Reese Witherspoon's Star-Studded Wedding: Juicy New Details!

When Reese Witherspoon wed Jim Toth at her Ojai, Calif. ranch on Saturday evening, the couple was 90 miles north of Los Angeles -- but the vibe of the night was a universe away from Hollywood glitz! UsMagazine.com has brand-new details on the Oscar winner's big-time nuptials.

In a courtyard in front of the Ojai house, the Monique Lhuillier-clad actress, 35, and CAA agent Toth, 40, exchanged vows and William Goldberg wedding bands beneath a canopy. About 120 family members and friends-- including Sean Penn, Scarlett Johansson, Renee Zellweger, Tobey Maguire and wife Jennifer Meyer, Robert Downey Jr., Matthew McConaughey and love Camila Alves, Alyssa Milano, Colin Hanks, Isla Fisher and hubby Sacha Baron Cohen-- were on hand for the bash. Reverend Jimmy Bartz, of the Santa Monica church regularly attended by the couple, officiated the 20-minute service, and Witherspoon's children (with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe) Ava, 11, and Deacon, 7, participated in the ceremony.

Matron of honor duties went to Witherspoon's best friend Heather Rosenfield, whose little boys served as ring bearers; the star's nieces were flower girls. In a fitting turn for the Southern-born actress, a bluegrass band played "Tennessee Waltz" as the processional music for Toth and the kids, segueing to "Here Comes the Bride" for Witherspoon's walk, and playing "Will the Circle Be Unbroken" during the ceremony.

Immediately following the "I do" exchange, guests retreated to a one-hour cocktail party behind the house. The special night's theme? Rustic, farm-style, of course! (At her bucolic Ojai spread, Witherspoon gardens and keeps horses, donkeys, pigs, goats and chickens.) The outdoor decor included lanterns and chandeliers hanging from trees, mismatched antique chairs and distressed benches set throughout the property, a wood plank dance floor, antique leather sofas, jute rugs, wagon wheels and Turkish textile pillows.

Different arrangements of white, blush and lavender flowers were set up on each table in mason jars, fish catcher lanterns and antique pots. And large moss-covered pots with lavender were set up all over the estate. When it was time for dinner, guests sat down at long tables in a fabric-lined tent behind the house. On the menu, catered by L.A. eatery Lucques: endive salad with olives and fava beans; wild striped bass with? potatoes, chanterelles and garlic; mustard grilled chicken with haricort vert and herb roasted lamb with braised artichokes. For dessert? A grand wedding cake designed by Erica O'Brien, a separate table of sweet treats -- and a s'mores lounge!

After the meal, guests boogied on the dance floor to DJ-spun tunes. When it was time to call it a night, revelers departed clutching gift bags with pecan currant scones from a local baker. Says a pal of the couple, who began dating in January 2010: "They feel like they've hit the jackpot in this relationship!"

Vanessa Hudgens Gets Spooked! Ghostly Encounter For Actress Vanessa Hudgens!

VANESSA Hudgens had a spooky encounter while filming her new movie in North Carolina.

The actress was holed up in a rented home while shooting Journey to the Mysterious Island and one night she encountered a playful specter.

“I kept on hearing a creak in my hallway and I was, like, ‘I have to figure out what this sound is…’,” Vanessa said.

“I walk over and I hear a creak to my right and I thought it was, like, rainfall or a leak, so I step over to the right… and I look down and I hear it to the left, so I step over to the left, look up, look down, step over to the right, look up, look down… It kept moving around.

“Finally, I was like, ‘You know what ghost, thanks for having me here. You do your thing; I’m gonna go.’ I was so terrified.”

Meanwhile, Hudgens says she hopes her role in Sucker Punch will help her put her High School Musical past behind her.

The 22-year-old actress plays Blondie in the new asylum-set fantasy action film and she is confident the gun-toting part will allow people to see her as more than just Gabriella from the Disney trilogy.

“I auditioned for the role several times,” Vanessa said.

“It was a bit of a challenge for a second because people could only see me as the girl that randomly broke into song and dance. But I heard about this movie and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. I think as long as I put the work in, people will give me the chance.”

Happy Birthday Mrs. Big

Happy birthday! The "Sex and the City" starlet and fashion icon is 46 years old today. This December, Ms. Parker will appear in "New Year's Eve," a kind of sequel to last year's romantic comedy, "Valentine's Day."

Money doesn't matter

They may be billionaires, but that doesn't mean wannabe fashionistas Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen have good taste when it comes to clothing. At the Metropolitan Opera's gala premiere of Rossini's "Le Comte Ory," Ashley made the mistake of donning an awkward green stole, bedspread-like dress, and overabundance of rings, while MK opted for a black muumuu, sleeveless coat, and a braided ponytail ... and don't get me started on the creepy shades they both sported!

RUNNING JOKE ON SET

Getting all dolled up like her Scream 4 co-star, Emma Roberts heads out for a classy dinner at Madeo in West Hollywood on March 18. Em made out well after her meal, waiting for her car at the valet with a huge to-go bag filled with leftovers. Emma played on a mix of luxurious textures for her fancy 'fit, wearing a decadent burgundy velvet mini (like Bailey 44's NY Dolls Dress in Crimson) cinched with a gold buckled belt (check out Julie K Handbags' Tess Belt in Black Cobra). Emma layered a cropped leather jacket over her frock (love the sophisticated style of June's Wrap Blazer in Black), staying warm with sheer black stockings and open front booties (check out Loeffler Randall's Parker in Black). Em carried a classic black handbag with a chain strap (love the pop of color under the flap of Danielle Nicole's Katie Messenger in Black) and accessorized with a simple pendant necklace (like Virgins, Saints & Angels' Saint Christopher Silver Locket in Silver). What do you think of Emma's dinner attire, does it suit her? It's hard to make velvet work, but I think the dress she chose is a very flattering look for her. Emma is enjoying some time off at home in LA before Scream 4 is released in theatres, but like her newbie co-star Hayden Panettiere, Em has had plenty to share about her filming experience. Emma shared with Elle magazine: "I definitely got scared, for real. Some scenes where I had to be running away from the bad guys, I got a little adrenaline rush. I got a bit of like, 'This is fake but it's kind of freaky ...' [one time] Hayden and I were in the middle of the scene and [a crew member] jumped out at us [wearing the mask]. We were both like 'Arrgghhh' and totally freaked out. So that became a running joke." I would have loved to see that!

Gwen Stefani donates $1 million to Japan

With a clothing line named Harajuku Lovers and a song called "Harajuku Girls," there's no doubt that Gwen Stefani has a soft spot for Japan.

Now, the singer is showing her love by donating $1 million to the rescue and relief efforts in the earthquake- and tsunami-ravaged country.

"I've been inspired by Japan for many years and have a true love, appreciation, and respect for the Japanese people and their culture," says the singer, who first toured there in 1996 and became fascinated by the music, art and fashion in Tokyo's Harajuku district. "The disaster in Japan is beyond heartbreaking and I want to do anything I can to help. I would never be able to make a gesture like this without the love and support of all the fans over all these years."

Besides giving her own generous donation to Save the Children’s Japan Earthquake-Tsunami Children in Emergency Fund, Stefani is also letting fans get in on the act.

Next week, she'll announce a charity auction in which the public can bid on a chance to join her at an L.A. fundraiser, and she'll sell a limited-edition Harajuku Lovers T-shirt of her own design on NoDoubt.com. One hundred percent of the tee's proceeds will go toward helping Japan.

“We are very grateful to have such a generous donation from Gwen Stefani for our relief efforts in Japan," said Charles MacCormack, president and CEO of Save the Children. "Save the Children has been in Japan for 25 years and we are working closely with our teams on the ground to address the immediate and ongoing needs of children and their families whose lives were turned upside down by this tragedy."

Kim Kardashian: Dame Taylor is my idol

You think you’re Elizabeth Taylor’s biggest fan? Maybe, but Kim Kardashian’s giving you a run for your money.

The reality star had the chance to interview the Hollywood legend before her passing for Harper’s Bazaar, and was beside herself with excitement.

“I am a huge Elizabeth Taylor nerd, as will now become clear,” she revealed in the interview, during which she asks the actress for advice on how to be more like her and how to be a queen – as well as sneaking in a request for Dame Taylor to follow her on Twitter.

“You have always been ahead of your time—and now you're on Twitter. What do you love about it?” Kardashian inquired.

“I like the connection with fans and people who have been supportive of me. And I love the idea of real feedback and a two-way street, which is very, very modern,” Taylor explained. “But sometimes I think we know too much about our idols and that spoils the dream. So, like all things, it is to be used with care!”

Of course, she agreed to follow Kardashian on the social networking site, and it turns out that her last tweets before her death were about Kardashian’s interview.

“@kimkardashian @harpersbazaarus Our interview in Bazaar came out! You look like a princess in Egyptian robes, love!” Taylor wrote on February 9, referring to the “Cleopatra"-inspired fashion Kardashian slipped into for Harper’s Bazaar. “My interview in Bazaar with Kim Kardashian came out!!!” Taylor tweeted again on February 9, along with a link.

So when Kardashian first heard of Taylor’s passing on Wednesday, her initial response was, perhaps fittingly, on Twitter.

"I am so saddened about the passing of Elizabeth Taylor! She will always be my idol!" Kardashian wrote.

The “Kourtney and Kim Take New York” star followed that sentiment up with a post on her blog.

“An era in time is over,” Kardashian said. “Elizabeth Taylor’s achievements in film were outstanding. …Her continual and undying philanthropic work for AIDS gave the world hope, promise and awareness.”

The 30-year-old went on to describe her “Cleopatra”-themed photo shoot for Haper’s Bazaar as “one of the greatest highlights” of her life.

“Not only did I get to wear Dame Elizabeth’s original clothing from the movie, but I got to interview her for this piece! I never felt so lucky and fortunate; it was truly the greatest honor and dream of mine to be the iconic ‘Elizabeth Taylor’ for one day! As I got to know her, I saw her beauty both inside and out, loved her humor and business mind and her spirit for life was truly amazing and contagious.”

Kardashian continued, “Unfortunately, this was Ms. Taylor’s last interview ever and her last tweet was about our piece in Bazaar together. I am so very grateful to have had this amazing and phenomenal experience personally with my life-time idol, Dame Elizabeth Taylor.”

Review: Jennifer Hudson's 'I Remember Me'

Jennifer Hudson opens her second studio album with a whopper of an understatement.

''I've been through some things,'' she sings over a shoop-shoop piano groove on ''No One Gonna Love You,'' and it's hard to know where to start: the horrific 2008 murders of her mom, brother, and nephew? The birth of her son in 2009? The 80 pounds she says she lost thanks to Weight Watchers? That's not even counting the "American Idol" and Oscar madness she experienced prior to the release of her self-titled debut.

How this woman found the time to record "I Remember Me" is anyone's guess.

What's more surprising than the album's existence, though, is that Ms. Iron Pipes finally sounds like she's having some fun.

Where 2008's "Jennifer Hudson" was bogged down with serious, self-assuring ballads, here she aims for a lighter vibe, flexing her newfound confidence on ''I Got This'' and coasting over producer Ryan Tedder's signature emo-soul synths on the sparkling title track.

Her three collaborations with Alicia Keys are especially buoyant; ''Everybody Needs Love,'' co-produced by Keys' husband, Swizz Beatz, reveals Hudson's inner disco diva. "Remember" isn't entirely lead-free: ''Still Here,'' a dreary Diane Warren number, could sink a singer with even better chops than Hudson's. But all you have to do is hear her appealingly brassy take on the oft-"Idol"-abused warhorse ''Feeling Good'' to know Hudson has somehow found a route to happiness. B+

MAKING NICE WITH HER EX

Covering up her baby bump with a cozy oversized sweater, Kate Hudson grabs a healthy snack while taking in her son Ryder's baseball game in Malibu, CA on March 19. Kate's ex-hubby Chris Robinson also turned up to root for his son, bringing along his baby girl Cheyenne and his new wife Allison Bridges to make it a full fledged family affair. Kate bundled up for the chilly weather in a chunky knit sweater (check out Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent's Navajo Cardigan in Cream) with a matching scarf, white graphic top (stay warm and stand out in Hard Tail's Slouchy Dropback Long Sleeve in Grey) and a pair of smoky bootcut jeans (like Paige Premium Denim's Laurel Canyon in Dusk), staying comfy on the baseball field in a pair of brown flats (tred with ease in Farylrobin's Mandy Tall Lug Sole Boot in Fatigue). What do you think of Kate's casual look, a little bulky but still true to her Boho style? She's definitely wearing her pregnancy well, and setting a great example for any divorced couple to follow with her friendly interaction with her ex and his wife at the game. Kate and Chris weren't the only celebs making time for Little League over the weekend – Britney Spears and beau Jason Trawick were also spotted at a West Hills game on Saturday. Wonder if the two celebri-kids will ever play against each other's teams? Somehow I think Kate would win in a cheering parent face-off!

CHARMING AND CHARITABLE

Kate Winslet was ever the classy and glamorous movie star as she posed for photos at the Cardboard Citizens Gala Fundraising Dinner that was held at Christ Church Spitalfields in London, England on March 19. Ensemble wise, Kate paired a chic Max Chaoul strapless dress with black peeptoe heels and a pair of dazzling drop earrings (try Calico Juno Designs' Cosmopolitan Pearl Drop Earring). It turns out that Kate even donated this dress that she wore to event to the auction of the evening - so cool! She's obviously not going to wear the dress again once she's been photographed wearing it, so it's nice that she put it for a good cause. For those of you who didn't know, the organization Cardboard Citizens is the UK's only professional theatre company comprised of homeless and displaced people. In addition to appearing this weekend, Kate hosted Cardboard Citizens' fundraising dinner back in 2008, which helped raised over £100,000! To get a more casual version of Kate's look, try Sue Wong's stunning Vintage Beaded Short Dress in Ivory or Luc by Lucy's Cut Out Bella Dress in White, and opt for a black belt (such as Motif 56's Elise Croc Belt in Black) to emulate Kate's black sash. What are your thoughts on Kate's outfit here, everyone? It's pretty hard to dislike something so classic, especially on a beauty like Kate!

Kate Middleton to take repaired Rolls-Royce to wedding with Prince William

Kate Middleton will arrive at her wedding with Prince William in a Rolls-Royce that was damaged last year when her fiance's father, Prince Charles, and his wife Camilla were attacked by student protesters.

The ceremony is set to take place on April 29 at Westminster Abbey, the site of the 1997 funeral of William's mother, Princess Diana, as well as the 1947 wedding of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

Middleton had decided to travel to the church by car rather than the traditional horse-drawn coaches royal bridges have chosen to use in the past, according to the Associated Press, which carried the report.

The paintwork and windows of the 1977 Rolls-Royce Phantom VI was damaged in December 2010 when people protesting a student fee increase pelted it with sticks and bottles while Charles and Camilla were still inside. Photos of the two inside the vehicle appeared in newspapers around the world. Singer Paul McCartney poked fun at the incident on "Saturday Night Live."

The Rolls-Royce will be repaired by the wedding day, the AP quoted officials as saying.

Middleton and Prince William will ride in an open-topped 1902 State Landau horse-drawn carriage for the procession back to Buckingham Palace following the ceremony, the news wire said, adding that Charles had used it to travel to St. Paul's Cathedral for his 1981 wedding to Diana.

Kirstie Alley to 'pump it' on 'Dancing With The Stars' week 2

Kirstie Alley says she plans to "pump it for all it's worth" when she and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy take the dance floor next week on "Dancing With The Stars."

The 60-year-old actress and Chmerkovskiy, 31, performed the Cha Cha on Monday night's season 12 premiere of ABC's hit ballroom dancing series and earned a earned a combined score of 23 out of 30 from the judges (read recap). Their marks were among the highest.

"I tried my best to enjoy it and not pretend like we were dancing for millions of people," Alley told OnTheRedCarpet.com after the show. "Next week I'm just going to pump it for all it's worth."

Contestant Ralph Macchio, known for starring in the original "Karate Kid" movies in the 1980s, and professional dance partner Karina Smirnoff earned a score of 24.

The 11 pairs will return next week and the first couple is expected to be voted off on Tuesday, March 29. Alley and Chmerkovskiy plan to perform a Quickstep routine.

"She's got so much personality so it just takes over the room," Chmerkovskiy said about the actress. "She's crazy about dance. I need somebody who wants to do it, for real, wants to do it, not because it's their job."

Chris Brown Defends Good Morning America Outburst Via Twitter

Chris Brown, who has been desperately trying to rehabilitate his image in order to sell his new album F.A.M.E, reportedly exploded behind the scenes at Good Morning America this morning, according to reports. Apparently, he wasn’t thrilled with GMA anchor Robin Roberts, who asked him on-air about the 2009 Rihanna assault.

The singer, like many stars in a public relations crisis, quickly (perhaps too quickly!) turned to Twitter and his two million-plus followers to defend himself.

Brown tweeted at 9:49 a.m., “I’m so over people bringing this past s**t up!!! Yet we praise Charlie sheen and other celebs for there bulls**t.”

That ill-advised tweet was quickly removed and followed up with this fan-friendly message: “All my fans!!! This album is for you and only you!!! I’m so tired of everyone else!! Honestly!! I love team breezy!!”

He tweeted a similar message moments ago, “#FAMEnumber1 I love all my fans and teambreezy!!! I hope this album is everything you wanted!”

For Brown, today’s behind-the-scenes drama is the last thing he needed in his career rehabilitation tour. Will his album sales be affected by this type of behavior? Stay tuned.

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian's Ex-wife Call a Twitter Truce

LeAnn Rimes and Brandi Glanville want some peace and are asking the public to allow this to happen.

Via Twitter, LeAnn Rimes said that she wants "all negativity to cease toward one another," reports People.com.

Rimes, 28, is currently engaged to actor Eddie Cibrian. The two met filming a cable TV movie. Cibrian left his ex-wife for Rimes, which started a nasty feud between the two ladies.

"We have communicated and have a direct understanding that we are ONLY ourselves on Twitter and have no other accounts that try to destroy one another," Rimes tweeted.

Adds Rimes in the Tweet signed by both her and Glanville, "Please for our families' sake stop the hate now and let us live OUR lives. We don't need opinions or outside help in order for that to happen," reported People.com.

STEPPING OUT AMIDST CONTROVERSY

Photographed running errands in Studio City on March 17, Vanessa Hudgens did her best to put on a happy face despite her most recent nude photo scandal. For her casual ensemble, VH started with Current/Elliot's The Low Bell jeans (similar to Joe's Jeans' High Waist Wide Leg in Leah) paired with Wildfox Couture's Love Potion #9 tank (for a simpler tank with a similar silhouette, check out Ella Moss' Montana Tank in Black), and then added on a military green jacket (try Hard Tail's Surplus Twill Jacket in Green Tea) that is super similar to Megan Fox's two entries down. Accessory wise, Vanessa chose Elizabeth and James' Park sunglasses, a black leather shoulder bag, and a brown waist belt. For an exotic belt option, try Julie K Handbags' Tess Belt in Slate Cobra. For those of you who haven't heard, Vanessa is in the hot seat once again after a new set of explicit nude pictures hit the web this week. When will celebrities (and everyone, for that matter) learn - do NOT take nude pictures unless you want them to leak! After two previous sets of naked Vanessa pics leaked in 2007 and 2009, it seems like V thought the worst was behind her. Wrong! I guess every two years the public is in for new inappropriate Hudgens photos. Vanessa's attorney recently told Us Weekly: "Vanessa is deeply upset and angered that these old photos, which were taken years ago, continue to resurface. It is particularly disturbing that whoever got hold of these private photos seems to be intent on illegally leaking them out over a long period of time. We are actively working with law enforcement to determine who is responsible and hold them accountable for their actions." Thoughts, everyone?

Reese Witherspoon To Don A Monique Lhuillier Dress For Wedding?

Actress Reese Witherspoon set a don a Monique Lhuillier designed wedding dress for an engagement she's been less than forthcoming about?

US Weekly has all the details on Reese's alleged nuptials.

The bride-to-be, 34, will wear a Monique Lhuillier design when she says her I do to Toth, 40. "She's spending most of her time on that dress," a source tells the new Us Weekly of the dress designer.

To ensure she looks gorgeous in the custom gown, Witherspoon has been breaking a sweat in 75-minute hot vinyasa yoga classes and added body scrubs and facials from Ona Spa to her routine.

As for the locale, the nuptials will take place at the star's Ojai, Calif. ranch. "The wedding will be in the early evening in one of the fields behind the house," reveals a pal.

Time will tell if Reese Witherspoon will marry Jim Toth.

Top Gear Challenge For Britian's Prince Harry?

PRINCE Harry is reportedly set to appear on Top Gear.

Host Jeremy Clarkson is lining up the British royal to be the “Star in a Reasonably Priced Car” in the next season of the popular driving show.

Harry, 26, is determined to beat Tom Cruise’s lap time in the Kia Cee’d hatchback.

“The prince is a massive Top Gear fan and is dying to give the Kia a spin,” a source told British newspaper The Sun.

“He loves driving and ideally he’d like to beat Tom Cruise just for the boasting rights.

“He doesn’t want it to be all about him. He wants to raise awareness of the Armed Forces.”

LA Reid Appointed as first X Factor judge

SIMON Cowell has appointed Def Jam chairman Antonio ‘L.A.’ Reid as the first X Factor judge.

The 54-year-old music producer — who has helped launch the careers of the likes of Rihanna, Kanye West, Justin Bieber, Pink and Mariah Carey — will reportedly take up a place on the judging panel alongside Simon and two more yet-to-be revealed stars when the first round of auditions begin in two weeks.

It is believed an official announcement will be made later in the week, with the remaining two places on the panel set to be snapped up by high-profile women.

“It’s a done deal,” a souce said.

“L.A. wants to do it. He has his sights set on a seat on that panel, and apparently Simon would like it to happen,” a source said.

Record executive L.A. recently explained he thinks music has its place on TV and the medium has now become more influential than radio.

“I think music on television certainly has a place and it’s important,” he said.

“In some ways, TV has become as impactful as radio once was. It’s just another way of doing it. You can find music on American Idol, on YouTube, on KIIS-FM or on a mixed tape. The more platforms we have, the better off we are as an industry.”

Also believed to be in the running for the remaining posts on the judging panel are UK X Factor judge Cheryl Cole, former Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger and Katy Perry.

Jodie Foster on Mel Gibson and "Beaver"

TAKING SOME TIME OFF FOR WORK

Recent college absentee Emma Watson takes her work seriously while getting down to work on her Lancome ad campaign on the streets of Paris, France on March 14. Em was recently named the latest "ambassadress" of the cosmetics brand, beginning to shoot the campaign with famed photog Mario Testino later in the day following the official press release. Emma strutted onto the set in a feminine draped chiffon mini (try Sue Wong's Taffeta Petal Halter Dress in Champagne or Sue Wong's dramatic 3D Flower Applique Bubble Dress in Black/Ivory) with an edgy black moto jacket (like Tag Jeans' Mayfield Motorbike Jacket in Black) and a pair of open toe wrap booties (love the shape of Farylrobin's Beth Ankle Boot in Black). Emma's hair was styled slicked back with dramatic eyes and a berry stained pout, carrying a petite black clutch (like Whiting & Davis' Classic Facile Clutch in Black) as she strolled on set. What do you think of Emma's styled look, can you see it unfolding in a Lancome ad in your favorite mag this fall? As I mentioned at the beginning, Emma recently announced she's taking a break from her studies at Brown to focus on her career, sharing with fans: "As you know, I love Brown and I love studying pretty much more than anything but recently I’ve had so much to juggle that being a student AND fulfilling my other commitments has become a little impossible. I’ve decided to take a bit of time off to completely finish my work on Harry Potter (the last one comes out this summer) and to focus on my other professional and acting projects. I will still be working towards my degree… it’s just going to take me a semester or two longer than I thought." Among her "other projects" includes her new gig with Lancome as well as designing a new eco-conscious line called Pure Threads with Alberta Ferreti, not to mention rumors she's being considered for numerous movie roles. Girl's got it going on! What do you think of her decision to put her studies on hold while she sorts out her professional life?

'American Idol' results show: Who was kicked off?

The contestant pool at "American Idol" became a little smaller after one contestant was eliminated on Thursday during the third results show of the 10th season. Curious to find out who got the boot? Check out the recap below to find out who was sent packing and tell us who you think should win the competition. Warning: Spoiler alert!

This week Karen Rodriguez saw a return to the bottom three along with Haley Reinhart and Naima Adedapo. However, Rodriguez was not saved by fan votes and sent home.

"I know it's about the votes, but I've done my best to represent for everybody, for my family, for everyone," the 21-year-old singer said.

During Wednesday's performance show, Rodriguez sang a song from the year of her birth, the 1989 hit "Love Will Lead You Back" by Taylor Dayne.

Rodriguez, who performed a bi-lingual version of that song, chose to sing her bi-lingual version of "Hero" in hopes of being saved at the last minute by the judges, but it didn't work.

"This is not unanimous. I must say, we talked it over quite a bit, but the judges are not going to use the save tonight," Randy Jackson told Rodriguez.

The singer was sent packing to "American Idol" season seven winner David Cook's cover of the 1985 hit "Don't You (Forget About Me)" originally by Simple Minds. Cook's cover will be used as the official farewell song for season 10.

The live results show featured performances by Season nine champion Lee DeWyze and the Black Eyed Peas. Dwyze performed his new single "Beautiful Like You." The Black Eyed Peas performed "Just Can't Get Enough," which they dedicated to Japan.

The 11 finalists that remain with Adedapo and Reinhart include Lauren Alaina, James Durbin, Stefano Langone, Jacob Lusk, Scotty McCreery, Paul McDonald, Thia Megia, Casey Abrams and Pia Toscano.

Shania Twain: I have lost my ability to sing

Shania Twain says she has lost her ability to sing and showcases her attempts to "reclaim her voice" in a new reality series, "Why Not? with Shania Twain," which is set to premiere on the OWN Network on May 8.

Twain, 45, has not released a new album in almost a decade and had over the past few years dealt with the breakdown of her first marriage.

In "Why Not?," Twain embarks on a tour of "healing, sharing and rediscovering her voice," which includes a visit to her childhood home in Canada, where she grew up in poverty. She enlists the help of vocal doctors and coaches, a grief counselor and fellow music artists such as Lionel Richie and Gladys Knight in a bid to "reclaim her voice."

"I have lost my ability to express myself and my ability to sing," Twain says in a promotional video for "Why Now?." I've lost it for some reason. I'm not comfortable singing in front of people anymore. I was feeling more pressure from my career. It just affected me. I was slowly losing my voice and slowly losing my confidence. My marriage was slowly breaking down, too."

Twain, who was named Eilleen when she was born, grew up with two sisters and two half brothers. In 1987, her mother and stepfather were killed in a car accident. At age 22, Twain became her younger siblings' guardian.

The singer went on to concentrate on her music career and achieved mainstream success with hits such as "That Don't Impress Me Much" and "Still The One," last released a studio album in 2002. The record, "Up!" has sold more than 11 million copies in the United States.

In 2008, Twain and Robert "Mutt" Lange, father of her son Eja, separated after 14 years of marriage. He had allegedly had an affair with Twain's best friend and Thiebaud's ex-wife, Marie-Anne Thiebaud. In January, Twain married Swiss business executive Frederic Thiebaud in Puerto Rico after dating for at least one year.

"First I found out that marriage was over and then the next day, I found out about the affair," Twain said. "It was a real death. I really lost my sense of trust, compassion, honesty. Forget that. That's all gone. That's dead. I was really getting quite obsessive about my own pain, my struggle, and I just had to snap out of it."

Lange has not commented on Twain's remarks. Also this spring, Twain is set to release an autobiography, which will be her first book and will detail her "challenging and sometimes shockingly painful upbringing" in Canada.

Christina Applegate cast in NBC comedy pilot

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) – Christina Applegate has been cast in the NBC's untitled Emily Spivey project.

The single camera comedy, from NBC studio and Lorne Michael's Broadway Video Prod, takes an irreverent look at parenthood through the point of view of an acerbic working mother (Applegate), along with her stay-at-home husband and opinionated parents.

In recent weeks, Applegate has proved to be one of pilot season's most in-demand actresses, making headlines when she passed on such projects as Darren Star's "Good Christian Bitches" pilot for ABC.

The new mom's TV credits include a starring role in "Samantha Who," "Jesse" and long-running Fox hit, "Married with Children."

Spivey ("Parks and Recreation," "Saturday Night Live") will serve as the project's writer and executive producer, with Michael ("SNL," "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," "30 Rock") on board as an executive producer

Tiger Woods Says He's Capable Of Winning Again

Golf champion Tiger Woods gave an exclusive interview to Good Morning America and discussed his game amongst other things. Tiger is confident he can win again like before to get back to the top.

Tiger Woods' golf game has undoubtedly suffered following the media blow up around his many affairs. Woods is now divorced and his reputation remain in shambles. Tiger has won 14 major championships second to only Jack Nicklaus who's won 18. Tiger remains confident however that he will surpass Nicklaus' record.

"It's been frustrating, no doubt, because, obviously, I enjoy winning golf tournaments, and I haven't done that in a while ... , " Woods, 35, said. "I know what I'm capable of doing. And I know the shots that I'm hitting at home on the range. ... I know it's in me. I just need to bring it out in a golf tournament."

"I'm going to look at the fact that I need to keep progressing," he said. "I need to keep escalating my skills. And that's what I'm doing."

Can Tiger Woods get back on his game and beat Jack Nicklaus' record?

MEGAN'S LITTLE LEAGUE LOOK

Megan Fox was spotted attending a Little League game in California's San Fernando Valley on March 13, rocking an edgy military-meets-schoolgirl-meets-gothic ensemble. A bit much for a kids baseball game, no? For her outfit, Megan paired a simple black dress (like Luc by Lucy's Wrap It Up Mini Dress in Black) with an army green military jacket (check out Marrakech's Maya Military Jacket in Army), and then slipped into a pair of Barneys New York CO-OP Wedge Ankle Boots and matching knee high socks. From there, Megan accessorized with a tan belt (try Gorjana's Fairfax Single Wrap Belt in Tan) over her dress, a beaded horn necklace (take a look at Ettika's Horn Braided Deerskin Chain Tassel Necklace in Light Brown), and a bevvy of bangles and rings. Check out that oversized cross ring! What are your thoughts on MF's 'fit here, everyone? One thing I can't help but notice is how fair her skin is... remember back in 2009 when she was SUPER tan? Seems like she's definitely doing all she can to stay out of the sun to keep her skin the perfect shade of porcelain. In other Megan news, it seems that the super sultry actress may be getting a career boost from none other than Judd Apatow. According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Megan may be trying her hand against some of Hollywood's humor heavyweights in Judd Apatow's follow-up to 2007's 'Knocked Up.' Paul Rudd and Apatow's wife, Leslie Mann, who starred as a perpetually feuding couple in the original, have reportedly agreed to reprise their roles in the upcoming film." Very interesting!

Bradley Cooper cries over Robert De Niro 'Inside the Actors Studio' clip

Bradley Cooper is the star of this week's psychological thriller, "Limitless," but it wasn't so long ago that he was in the audience of "Inside the Actors Studio," asking his co-star Robert De Niro questions.

On Monday's "Inside the Actors Studio" host James Lipton played a video of Cooper's first interaction with De Niro which brought the "Hangover" actor to tears, in the clip, Cooper asked De Niro about what inspired his "Awakenings" character and the screen legend essentially brushed him off.

"I'm a loud crier," Cooper told the "Actors Studio" audience. "I'm not like a sobber... I'm like a -it's ugly, so I apologize."

Cooper recently expressed his appreciation for De Niro at the premiere of "Limitless," which hits theaters on Friday.

"The best thing about him is how willing he is to share all of that knowledge and experience," Cooper told OnTheRedCarpet.com of De Niro. "He's just another actor on the set with you and he's so real. It was the easiest time I ever had acting. Ever." In "Limitless," which hits theaters on Friday, March 18, Cooper plays Eddie Morra, whose life is changed after he takes the to-secret drug NZT, which gives him superhuman abilities.

Cooper did an interview with ABC News Now's "Popcorn With Peter Travers and talked about how he was originally afraid to appear on Lipton's show because he didn't feel like he had earned the right yet.

"I didn't want to do it," Cooper told Peter Travers. "[Lipton] asked me to it a year ago. I thought I'd feel like a fraud up there. The blue cards would be this thick [Cooper pressed his thumb and pointer finger together], the interview would last 10 minutes and it would be over. Then I thought, the whole point of this show is to talk with the students. Of course I'll do it. And I'm really glad I did it after this movie."

Cooper holds the honor of being the first graduate of the Actors Studio Drama School to be invited on the show.

The actor's girlfriend of two years, Renee Zellweger was also in the audience of "Inside the Actors Studio." The couple has remained quiet on details of their relationship.

At the premiere, Cooper also dispelled the rumor that Charlie Sheen would make a cameo in "The Hangover Part 2," which is set for release on May 26.

Watch the trailer for "Limitless" below.

Mel Gibson booked in LA in connection to battery case, released on bail

Mel Gibson was booked in connection to a criminal battery case Wednesday night and released shortly afterwards, according to Los Angeles police.

Gibson faces charges of misdemeanor battery against his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva from a January 2010 confrontation.

The 55-year-old actor turned himself in at the El Segundo Police Department at 9:31 p.m. PT. He was released on $20,000 bail.

Last Friday, a Los Angeles court accepted Gibson's plea bargain on the charges.

The actor was sentenced to informal probation for 36 months, 16 hours of community service with Mending Kids International, a 53-week domestic violence program, continued mental health counseling and a $400 domestic violence fine. If he violates his probation, Gibson could face up to a year in prison.

Gibson's lawyer made it clear that the actor was not admitting guilt but was "entering into plea because it's in the best interest of his children."

Grigorieva, a 40-year-old Russian musician, gave birth to Gibson's daughter, Lucia, in October 2009. They broke up in April 2010. The following summer, she accused him of punching her in the face the previous January at his Los Angeles home.

A recorded racist, sexist and explicit rant Gibson is said to have made against Grigorieva over the phone was then released. He has not confirmed it is his voice on the recordings, which were posted on the website RadarOnline.

Gibson has denied he punched her and said in court documents filed in June 2010 that he slapped Grigorieva during the confrontation in a bid to protect their baby, who she was holding in her arms at the time.

Big Royal Wedding Sleepover

Tiger Woods: Being a single dad is 'tough'

Tiger Woods says he's getting his life back on course -- and that includes being present for his two children, daughter Sam, 3, and son Charlie, 2.

"It's work, there's no doubt," the golfer, 35, speaking on ABC's "Good Morning America" Thursday, said about single fatherhood. "It's tough. But it's enjoyable. That's the work I love."

Expanding upon that point, Woods said of his kids, "I just love being with them and seeing what they're doing, what they're capable of doing -- the joys, just the shifts of interest. ... It's just fun. We have a great time together."

That time, he said, is spent watching Sam dance, create things, color and re-arrange furniture.

As for Charlie, whom Woods called "my little brute," the boy only wants to play sports. "Give him a stick and a ball," says his father, "and he's happy."

The "GMA" interview -- along with a Wednesday night appearance on NBC's "Late Night" with Jimmy Fallon -- marks Woods's return to the talk arena for the first time since his fall from grace that began with a mysterious November 2009 car accident and resulted in the revelation of his mistress-rich private life and, ultimately, his divorce from wife Elin Nordegren.

"Family's first. That's the way it was when I was growing up. My mom and dad were always there ... and that's what I have with my kids now," Woods told

GMA's Robin Roberts, who noted when introducing the interview with the golfer, "The arrogance is no longer there. He's been humbled by the past year."

Butt of jokes

On "Late Night," host Fallon said to Woods, "It's been a year and a half since you've been on the show. What you been up to?"

There came a laugh from the audience, before Woods nonchalantly responded, "Nothin', nothin'."

Acknowledging that his very public private ordeal must have been "painful and awful" for Woods, Fallon also told the golfer, "From a comedian's standpoint, and my monologue writers', thank you."

Woods didn't say much to that, but did converse with Fallon on the glories of his new mega-house ("You have your own country. Congratulations," said Fallon. "You have a golf nerd's Barbie dream house"), and later proved a good sport when show guest Amy Poehler and Fallon jokingly attempted to distract him as he demonstrated his new video game, "Tiger Woods's PGA Tour 12: The Masters."

Sandra Bullock sends $1 million for Japan

Actress Sandra Bullock sent a $1 million donation to the American Red Cross this week to help with earthquake and tsunami relief efforts in Japan, the Red Cross said Thursday.

It is the largest celebrity donation to the Red Cross to be announced since the disaster struck last Friday, although the charity may have gotten large contributions that were kept confidential at the donors' request.

"This contribution is vitally important as the Red Cross works to provide critical assistance and essential relief items in this time of urgent need for so many people in Japan," the relief organization said.

The contribution was made by the Oscar-winning actress on behalf of her family, the Red Cross said.

Dozens of celebrities used their social network accounts, including Twitter, to urge fans to support the Red Cross with small donations. The group has received $2.6 million since last Friday in $10 donations sent through cell phone text messages, it said.

Overall, the American Red Cross has raised about $47 million in the United States since the earthquake and tsunami struck Japan last Friday.

The U.S. organization has passed $10 million of those donations on to the Japanese Red Cross for work on the ground in Japan, it said.
