Brad Pitt says marriage to Angelina Jolie is 'something we've got to look at'

Brad Pitt seems to realize that he and Angelina Jolie have an unconventional relationship. The two have six children together - three adopted children, Maddox, Pax and Zahara, and three biological children, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne, but have yet to tie the knot.

Pitt tells USA Today his children, whose ages range from 2 to 9, "ask about marriage." He adds, "It's meaning more and more to them. So it's something we've got to look at."

The actor stars in the new film "The Tree of Life." The film is currently in limited release, and tells of three young brothers in the 1950s in the Midwest. Pitt plays their father and his character's oldest son, who is 11, witnesses the loss of innocence. Sean Penn portrays the boy when he is an adult, who tries to reconcile with his father.

"Our kids have to live behind a gate. Outside, there are people with cameras," Pitt tells the newspaper about his children's lives. "But I'll take the trade-off. I never knew I was capable of experiencing so much love."

"Angie and I do everything we can to carve out some semblance of normalcy for them, to re-create the kinds of moments that were special for us. It's not unusual for the kids to be covered in paint," he adds. "We have mud fights. It's chaos from morning until the lights go out, and sometimes after that."

The actor adds that not only does he spend quality time with his kids, he and Jolie make time together as a couple and they'll let the children know when they need their private time.

"There are no secrets at our house," the actor said. "We tell the kids, 'Mom and Dad are going off to kiss.' They go, 'Eww, gross!' But we demand it."

Pitt recently told OnTheRedCarpet.com host Chris Balish at "The Tree of Life" premiere that if his kids see the film, "I'm hoping when my kids grow up, they'll go, 'Dad's a pretty good actor because that's not him.'"

Jolie accompanied Pitt to the Los Angeles premiere of the movie on Tuesday, May 24, and wore a red (or poppy), one-shoulder, silk, chiffon Jenny Packham gown with a velvet waistband .

Pitt also addressed the recent deadly tornado that struck the town of Joplin, Missouri, where his mother and late grandparents once lived, saying: "My thoughts are certainly with them."

Stacey Dash of 'Clueless' fame making TV comeback with VH1's 'Single Ladies'

Stacey Dash, who is best known for her role as Dionne in "Clueless," is making her TV comeback with the new VH1 series, "Single Ladies."

"Single Ladies," which premieres on Monday, is produced by Queen Latifah and follows three best friends living in Atlanta, who have different approaches to relationships.

"My partner Shakim Compere and I are excited our production company Flavor Unit is working with VH1 on their first venture into the hour-long scripted series genre," Queen Latifah said in a statement. "'Single Ladies' is a sexy and smart show... something that we feel TV has been missing for far too long and we knew VH1 was the perfect home for it."

Earlier in the month, Us Weekly reported that Dash stormed off the set of "Single Ladies" screaming profanities about her cast mate LisaRaye McCoy.

The 45-year-old actress reportedly said she would not return until her co-star "gets her (expletive) kicked."

Dash starred in the 1995 "Clueless" movie as well as the TV show, which ran from 1996 until 1999. The actress also appeared on "The Game," "The Strip" and the reality show "Celebrity Circus," where celebrities were trained to perform various circus acts.

"Single Ladies" airs on Monday at 9 p.m. ET on VH1.

Ja Rule prepares for prison time, talks about 50 Cent feud

Ja Rule is preparing to serve a two-year sentence for weapons charges and said in a recent interview that his long-running feud with rapper 50 Cent is over and that it was important to finish his new album before going to prison.

"I just want to put it out to the world before I go in," Ja Rule told The Life Files. "It's funny because, I'm about to go to jail, and my main concern is to make sure that I get this album done and out there for the fans."

Ja Rule is scheduled to surrender for his two-year prison sentence on June 8, the day after his new album "The Renaissance Project" is scheduled for release. The rapper also made an effort to wrap up his "beef" with 50 Cent.

"It's resolved now," Ja Rule said. "I'm cool. We ain't beefing no more. We'll never collaborate. That's just what it is... We don't gotta go to war, but we're not friends either. But we can coincide inside of a world. He's doing him, and he's not thinking about me, and I'm doing me and I'm not thinking about him."

Ja Rule and 50 Cent have had a long-running feud, which has emerged in their music and recently in a Twitter war, after 50 Cent wrote disparaging things about Ja Rule. But the rapper admits that he is embarrassed to have engaged in the argument.

"I was a little ashamed of myself to be even involved with that. Because I'm like, yo, I'm 35-years-old and I'm on Twitter beef? That's not something I want to entertain, but I'm a man first, so I'm reading (expletive) like him sending Tweets and little things about me."

In March, Ja Rule admit that he failed to pay taxes on more than $3 million in income and could face more prison time.

The rapper and actor, whose real name is Jeffrey Atkins, is already set to begin his two-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon.

He is scheduled to be sentenced on June 13 on three tax evasion charges and faces up to one year in prison and $100,000 in fines on each count, according to the Associated Press, which carried the report.

"So to the Feds very cooperative it's not tax evasion its failure to file and I'm taking care of it case closed #WINNING lol..." Ja Rule said on his Twitter page, referencing a catchphrase recently made popular by Charlie Sheen.

Ja Rule earned the money between 2004 and 2006, the AP said, adding that if plea conditions are met, the government will dismiss two counts against him for unpaid taxes on $1 million he earned in 2007 and 2008.

Ja Rule pleaded guilty at a New York court in December to attempted criminal possession of a weapon. Police had said they found a loaded .40-caliber semiautomatic gun in his Maybach sports car in July 2007 following a concert in the city with Lil Wayne, who was detained separately.

In November, Lil Wayne completed an 8-month prison sentence after reaching a plea deal regarding the same case.

Ja Rule is known for songs such as "I'm Real" with Jennifer Lopez and his 2001 album "Pain is Love" was nominated for a Grammy Award. He has also has appeared in films such as "The Fast and the Furious" in 2001 and "Scary Movie 3" in 2003.

Destiny Child Maybe Coming Back

Beyonce reunited with her fellow Destiny's Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams at Sunday's Billboard Music Awards. The pop superstar gave them both a shout out when she accepted her Millennium Award. "I would like to thank Kelly and Michelle from Destiny's Child. I wouldn't be standing on this stage if it wasn't for y'all."

Amber Vs. VIBE

Sooo Amber Rose is pissed!!! She snapped on Vibe for quoting things that she never said during the interview and expresses that she was truthful when being asked questions. As a result of being honest she says that VIBE MAGAZINE "f***ED her". lOl Tragic, but what do you expect from people who want a good juicy story? You were boring so asa result they spiced it up a little bit, well a LOT!! Media doesn't want the truth, they want twisted, messy, mouth dropping false truth. Life goes on though. Same sad story different "celebrity". Check a little of the response below...

What Amber says:
"Yall don’t give a f*ck that I have a Mom & Family thats gonna read that fake ass shit I gave yall a truthful interview & Yall f##ked me. I’m so sick of keeping my mouth shut I didn’t ask for this life it was handed to me. I was nothing but nice to everyone I spoke to @ Vibe”

No More Short Shorts

Jessica Simpson has great gams, but she really needs to retire her Daisy Dukes. The barely-there short shorts -- that became part of her go-to getup after she starred in the film version of "The Dukes of Hazzard" -- aren't that cute or that classy. Come to think of it ... neither is that handbag, or that turquoise-trimmed jacket.

Fashion Faceoff: Kourtney K. vs. Audrina

Are you ready for another fashion faceoff? This time, "Hills" hottie Audrina Patridge takes on Kourtney Kardashian. The reality TV queens were both photographed wearing the same Jay Godfrey jumpsuit -- almost a year apart! Question is ... who wore it better?

Kourtney stepped out in a red version of the jumpsuit at a bash to toast her Redbook magazine cover at the Sunset Tower in West Hollywood, California, last month. The bright red color perfectly set off the 32-year-old's dark complexion and hair, which she smartly allowed to hang loosely in waves around her shoulders.

Audrina sported a slightly wrinkled version of the jumpsuit -- in brown -- back in 2009 while partying at Tao at the Venetian in Las Vegas. A cross-body bag in black was the 26-year-old Audrina star's most noticeable accessory.

Although both ladies looked lovely, for me, Kourtney gets the edge in this style showdown -- and it all boils down to color. While Audrina chose a neutral hue that made her blend into the background, Kim K.'s big sis picked a shade that made her really stand out!

Arnold’s Mistress Is Threatening to Sue…

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s mistress is angry, and threatening to sue Entertainment Tonight over an interview with her ex-husband, Rogelio Baena.

In an interview with ET, Rogelio alleged that Mildred “Patty” Baena told him her 13-year-old child with Schwarzenegger was his own, and felt ‘betrayed’ when he learned the truth last week.

TMZ is reporting that after the interview was aired, Patty’s lawyer sent a letter to ET claiming that Rogelio always knew that the love child wasn’t his and the entertainment channel ran the interview without doing any research, and paid Rogelio “in excess of six figures to spew lies.”

The letter stated that they can prove that Rogelio was out of the country when the child was conceived and only returned after Patty was carrying the child, “Thus, Mr. Baena knew then, just as he knows now, that he could not possibly have been the boy’s father.”

Patty’s lawyers are demanding an apology and a retraction of the story on grounds that “our client has been outrageously defamed.”

So the question is, what do you think? Should Patty be given this win, or is she too deep already?

Kris Jenner gives her stamp of approval on Kris Humphries

When reality star Kim Kardashian and her NBA beau Kris Humphries began dating six months ago, they almost instantly knew this "was it," says Kim. But for Humphries, becoming part of the close-knit Kardashian clan was no easy task.

Thankfully for him, Kardashian's mother Kris Jenner, couldn't be happier to have him become part of the family. "He is so amazing and sweet and after spending time with him I came to realize he was such an important part of the family," Jenner tells PEOPLE.

PHOTOS: Kim & Kris's Whirlwind Romance

"He gets along with every single one of us, and that is not easy to do," she admits. "When you date one of us, you date all of us. We're all going out with Kris," she jokes.

It was his easy-going spirit that most put Jenner at ease. "I see that spirit in Bruce [Jenner] and that I saw in Kim's dad (the late Robert Kardashian). We have a lot of big personalities and he lets us be who we are."

And as for making Kardashian happy, he's got that covered. "I haven't seen her this peaceful and content and over the moon, ever!" she says. "That makes me happy. When you're kids are happy, you're happy."

And Humphries has learned to stand on his own in the family. "It's hard to let someone in to such a crazy, big, dynamic family and have someone hold their own," she explains. "Kris does. And he allows Kim to be who she is. She is such an amazing person with such a big heart and she's such a romantic and he's exactly the same way. They're cute together."

Jennifer Lopez just wrapped her first season as a judge on "American Idol" on Wednesday, but the singer has yet to decide whether she will return to the hit singing competition.

Lopez signed a single-year contract and told Fox News that it was "too early to tell" whether she would return.

Beyonce Says Billboard Music Awards Performance Inspired By Italian Singer

Beyoncé was accused of stealing the idea for her show-stopping Billboard Music Awards performance Sunday night after a video surfaced online the next day, comparing her routine to a February 2010 performance by Italian pop star Lorella Cuccarini..

But Beyoncé clarified speculation about the motivation for her cutting-edge show Monday when she explained that seeing Lorella's interactive video performance made her want to make her own version. "My makeup artist showed me the performance of Lorella Cuccarini a year ago, and it inspired me so much," Beyonce told AOL Music. "I then met with the talented people who worked on it. The technology and concept were so genius. Thank God for YouTube or I would have never been exposed to something so inspiring. I never worked so hard on anything in my life as that performance for the Billboard Awards.".

Kenzo Digital, who spent a month creating Beyoncé's Billboard Awards show video, said Lorella concert footage is only part of the inspiration for Beyoncé's number. "[The Cuccarini artists] are awesome and do incredible work as well, but there are a lot of different inspirations for where our piece came from," he told our Amplifier blog..

Lorella's influence can be seen when watching the shows side-by-side. It feels as though Beyoncé's team used Lorella's show as a template and personalized it by changing out some of the details. Not only does Beyoncé use some of the same scenes Lorella used, but they fall in the same sequence..
Beyoncé's set opens with the roaring head of a tiger. Then like Lorella's, an entry way appears. Next, both ladies receive a set of flapping wings. Beyoncé dances in front of an array of random, abstract images before a sea of birds descend from the top of the frame. As she continues to dance, she is eventually joined by background dancers made in her likeness. She catches a set of virtual drumsticks and plays the snares that materialize onto the projection in the same spiral fashion as in Lorella's video..

While it is clear that Beyoncé used the same visual concept as Lorella, both performances contained numerous unique qualities..

Lorella's four-minute routine was a tribute of sorts to American pop music that included pieces of Gwen Stefani's "Holla Back Girl," Michael Jackson's "The Way You Make Me Feel," Aerosmith's "Walk This Way," and Peggy Lee's "Fever.".

Beyoncé also brought two live male background dancers on stage with her, and followed the electronic set with 100+ live female dancers..

Reaction online has been mixed. "This is why I will always value her as a great performer, but never as an artist," rocknox wrote on YouTube. "Why are you going to perform a sampled song, and sample a performance too?".

But ShortStuff528 came to Beyoncés defense. "Has Beyoncé claimed this performance as her idea? Who's to say it was Beyoncé who sought out the people responsible for the original? Maybe they wanted to work with her. Every artist constantly copies. Michael Jackson copied James Brown, Jackie Wilson, breakdancers, Marcel Marcequ, and many magicians that he witnessed. ... Beyoncé gave credit to Fosse even before 'Single Ladies.'".

I'm glad Beyoncé cleared things up and has given Lorella her props. For Beyoncé's " Run The World (Girls)" video, she pays respect to the Tofo Tofo dancers from Mozambique who inspired the opening dance sequence. Two members of the African troupe appear in the clip..

Christina Ricci's Oscars Dress Goes to Michigan Prom

WATERFORD, Mich. - Lots of teenage girls go all out for their prom, but few get to wear a $25,000 Versace Couture dress designed for actress Christina Ricci.

Ricci wore the sparkling, pale gray, floor-length dress to this year's Oscars.

Kayla Staskiewicz wore it to Waterford Mott High School's prom, which was held May 13 in suburban Detroit.

Photos: Christina Ricci on the red carpet >>

Her father, Mike Staskiewicz, entered her name in a WDIV-TV contest to win a chance to wear the size 0 dress, The Oakland Press of Pontiac reported Sunday.

"He thought our daughter would look beautiful in that dress and with the size being only a zero, he knew she would have a good chance to fit into it because she is very small," said her mother, Gayle Staskiewicz.

The day before the prom, Kayla Staskiewicz stepped into the dress and found it fit perfectly.

"I was just excited and ready to go to the prom right then and there," she said.

Staskiewicz said she felt "really pretty" and her mom kept calling her Cinderella. She said she, prom date Connor Durham and their friends had a great night.

"I loved every minute of it," she said.

Jennifer Aniston Debuts New 'Do in 'Horrible Bosses'

Jennifer Aniston has made a career out of playing good girls. Heck, she even played the title role in a movie called, you guessed it, "The Good Girl." So, it's no surprise that people have noticed Aniston's role in the upcoming flick, "Horrible Bosses" breaks the trend. She plays a dentist who is annoying, inappropriate, disrespectful... in short, anything but good.

The comedy, which co-stars Colin Farrell, Kevin Spacey, and Jason Bateman, features a new look for Aniston. For the first time in a long time, she won't rock blond hair. She's dyed her hair dark brown, a not-so-subtle sign that her character is bad to the bone. Even the movie's poster refers to her as a man-eater.

See the exclusive 'Horrible Bosses' posters >>

Aniston, whose hair has long inspired many an online search, is getting renewed interest in her luscious locks. Over the past 24 hours, Web lookups on "jennifer aniston new haircut" have surged an astounding 350,000%. Related searches on "jennifer aniston new haircut pictures" spiked 2,500%. So, yeah, who needs "the Rachel," anyway?

But it's not just Aniston's hair that has people talking. It's the role, too. In the film, Aniston plays a dentist who sexually harasses her helpless underling, played by Charlie Day of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia."

In the trailer, which is not safe for the young 'uns, Aniston goes completely over-the-top with her harassment, which Day's character can't stand. He and his friends, played by Bateman and Jason Sudeikis (who both also have "horrible bosses"), decide to take things into their own hands by offing the bosses with the help of a "murder consultant" played by Jamie Foxx.

While Aniston's new look is garnering the lion's share of attention, the film is also hot on the Web. Over the past week, searches on "horrible bosses" and "horrible bosses trailer" are both up over 400%. And, in a sign that is sure to please the studio's bean counters, Web searches for "horrible bosses release date" are on the up and up.

The film (and, with it, Aniston's new hair) hits theaters on July 8.

Oprah Winfrey leaves void as she forges new path

Oprah Winfrey has taped more than 5,000 episodes of her daytime talk show, transforming television and trying to teach millions of viewers how to live life with purpose along the way. She has one more to go. She says she feels relieved.

She may be the only one.

Television stations are bracing for an afternoon ratings slump without her. Publishers and publicists are contemplating what the next best show for promoting their products will be. And Winfrey's viewers are looking for something else to watch — and many of them are wondering where to find OWN, her five-month-old cable channel, where she will host a new show on a less demanding schedule next year.

"I literally curb my enthusiasm for the end, because I realize that for the other people that are part of this experience" — like the 464 people who produce her show — "the end is a different experience than it is for me," she said in an interview last week.

The last episode of "The Oprah Winfrey Show," which will be televised on Wednesday, is the biggest such moment in television since Johnny Carson quit "The Tonight Show" two decades ago.

Carson walked away and did not look back; what Winfrey is doing may be much more risky. She is moving to cable, to OWN, where she wants to build a bigger business, though the early ratings have been disappointing.

"I'm not going away, I'm just changing," she said. "I'm just creating another platform for myself, which eventually will be wider and broader than what I have now."

Skeptics about the OWN venture abound, but Winfrey has proved skeptics wrong in the past, most notably in the mid-1990s when she turned away from tabloid fare about cheating spouses and scandalous paternity test results and talked, instead, about "living your best life" spiritually and emotionally. Surprising the television business, she held onto her viewers, and she remains the country's most popular talk show host by far.

People around Winfrey say they sense that she is nervous about OWN. "I wish more people were watching," she said, when asked about OWN's weekly show about the making of her talk show. But she seems at peace with her decision, made 18 months ago, to quit her syndicated program and the demanding schedule that goes with it.

Some stations will replace "Oprah" with "Dr. Oz," "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" or, in the fall, a show by Anderson Cooper. Others will expand newscasts.

Her departure is turning into yet another teachable moment. Her farewell tour this season has been fantastical to her fans and egomaniacal to others. All manner of anchors, actors, and authors have kissed her ring. President Barack Obama, whom she helped to elect, dropped by last month.

Princess's "toilet seat" hat sells for $131,000

LONDON (Reuters Life!) – The much-mocked hat worn by Princess Beatrice to Britain's royal wedding last month -- widely described as looking like a toilet seat -- sold for 81,100 pounds ($131,000) on eBay, charities which will benefit from the sale said.

The money will be equally split between UNICEF and Children in Crisis, which posted the auction results on their websites.

The fuss over the hat worn to the royal wedding of her cousin Prince William to longtime girlfriend Kate Middleton seemed to have taken Beatrice -- who is the daughter of William's uncle Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson -- by surprise.

"I've been amazed by the amount of attention the hat has attracted," Beatrice said on the auction site. "I hope whoever wins the auction has as much fun with the hat as I have."

The hat, by milliner Philip Treacy, was given a starting price of 5,000 pounds.

Treacy said he was "delighted, flattered and touched by HRH Princess' Beatrice's decision to donate the hat to charity."

David Schwimmer becomes a dad to baby girl, Cleo

David Schwimmer is now a father.

A spokeswoman for the 44-year-old actor and director says Schwimmer and his wife, Zoe Buckman, recently welcomed their first daughter.

Publicist Ina Treciokas says baby Cleo Buckman Schwimmer was born May 8.

Schwimmer was a star of TV's "Friends." He also lent his voice to the "Madagascar" animated movies.

Angelina & Brad @ LA Premiere of "Kung Fu Panda 2"

Jolie and Brad Pitt might be their generation's epitome of Hollywood glamour, but they obviously have different tastes in red carpet style. Take, for example, what each of them wore to Sunday's premiere of "Kung Fu Panda 2" in Hollywood.

Yes, it was a family-centered event during the day on a weekend, so it didn't exactly call for fancy duds. But contrast Angelina's look to Brad's. She wore a sleek, short-sleeved black Michael Kors dress along with a high leg slit. She accessorizes with black heels, a belt, and her hair pulled back in a ponytail, creating a graceful and not overdone ensemble. Brad, on the other hand, went past casual to the point of boring: beige sweater, beige khakis (which look too long for him), beige belt, and even beige suede shoes. It looks like he's literally trying to blend into the background.

Rosie Perez sues for "Law and Order" injury

Actress Rosie Perez claims in a lawsuit filed Wednesday that she was severely injured while taping an episode of "Law & Order Special Victims Unit" in 2009.

The production company "failed to utilize skilled performers or experienced stunt personnel" for a scene in which her character was violently shaken by a school crossing guard, the suit filed in a New York court charged.

She was "negligently, carelessly, violently and recklessly pulled, grabbed, yanked, wrenched and/or manhandled" by an extra actor who played the guard, it said.

Perez suffered "severe and permanent injuries" during the filming, the suit said. Her lawyer said she underwent two surgeries for a herniated disc.

Perez, 46, is known for her 1989 acting debut in Spike Lee's "Do the Right Thing," and in the 1992 film "White Men Can't Jump."

The producers of "Law & Order Special Victims Unit" did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

A spokesman for NBC, the network that airs the crime drama, declined comment.

Patti Davis, Ronald Reagan's daughter, poses nude at 58

Patti Davis, the daughter of late U.S. president Ronald Reagan, has posed nude for More magazine at the age of 58.

"My body is the house I live in, and I've never stopped trying to make it better," Davis wrote in More. "I don't understand the common attitude that after 40, you might as well just accept that your body is going to sag and fold and expand in unflattering ways. Really? Our muscles are actually pretty democratic; if we work them, they'll respond."

The writer, who was often considered the "black sheep" of the Reagan family, also posed nude for Playboy magazine in 1994 when she was 42. The more liberal Davis became a drug addict when she was 15 and told More magazine that she is finally proud of her body.

Davis tried acting briefly, appearing in episodes of "Fantasy Island," "CHiPs" and "The Love Boat." She was romantically linked to the Eagles member Bernie Leadon and was married to her yoga instructor for four years.

During Reagan's presidential run, Davis vocally opposed nuclear weapons and supported the pro-choice movement. Davis wrote an autobiography "The Way I See It," where she accused her mother of physical abuse and called her father distant and aloof.

She eventually reconciled with her parents and wrote "The Long Goodbye," a memoir about losing her father to Alzheimer's disease. In total, Davis has written eight books and numerous articles.

Ke$ha and T-Pain? Dating? Maybe Saturday IS the End of the World…

Gotta admit…if there were ANY reason that the end of the world would be coming in two days, I think these two could be the cause…

Ke$ha and T-Pain? Maybe so, if their Twitter feeds have any truth to them…

It all started with T-Pain, who tweeted earlier this week:

“Last night I found out I’m in love wit @keshasuxx,”

Ke$ha’s response?

“Um. F*****g love u @TPAIN. U get me. Come find me,”

And finally, there was what some are called a “twitter Public Announcement” from T-Pain, complete with the picture below, that read:

“Ladies and gentlemen I’ve upgraded from loyal stalker. Get ready for K-Pain @tpain and @keshasuxx,”

Thoughts? As for me, I’m convinced, so I just started planning a drinking and partying binge for the next 48 hours until the world goes boom.

Sean 'Diddy' Combs changes his name...again

How many names can one man have?

Rapper/entrepreneur/actor/whatever else he wants to be Sean Combs started in the game as Puff Daddy before becoming known as Puffy, Puff, P. Diddy and finally, Diddy. Now, for one week, he wants to be known as "Swag."

For those who have been hiding under a hip-hop culture rock for the past few years, "swag" is short for "swagger" and according to the Urban Dictionary is defined as "How one presents him or her self to the world."

Swag announced the change via his official Twitter account and even set up a new Twitter account to reflect the temporary name change.

"I decided that I’m gonna change my name for a week in honor of my comeback," he said on a video he released. "I’ve gone as Puff, Puffy, Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, Diddy, King Combs – my real name is Sean Combs – and for a week, this week only, you can call me by my new name, Swag.”

Is this Larry King?

Kate Gosselin ordered to pay $10K to marriage therapist

Kate Gosselin has been ordered to pay more than $10,000 to a Pennsylvania marriage therapist named Sylvia Lafair, who says the reality star owes her money for counseling services given to her and then-husband Jon.

Gosselin, 36, rose to fame with the reality show "Jon & Kate Plus 8," which featured the couple and their sextuplets and twins. The show was canceled in 2009 following the pair's divorce that December and spurred a spinoff series, "Kate Plus 8," which stars Gosselin and her children.

Pennsylvania therapist Sylvia Lafair, 71, says Gosselin had a verbal deal with her, under which she would fly to Los Angeles to counsel the reality star and Jon in March 2009, before their divorce. Lafair said Gosselin ultimately refused to pay for services and travel fees.

A judge recently ruled in Lafair's favor and ordered Gosselin to pay her $10,476, local newspaper the Standard Speaker reported.

Gosselin's attorney has appealed the decision, the newspaper said, adding that the reality star says she never entered into an agreement with Lafair, that the therapist was asked to counsel Jon alone and that she had at the time hired her own private counselor.

Kate Gosselin's ex-husband has not commented.

Beyonce unleashed her newest video for "Run the World (Girls)" on Wednesday during "American Idol." The song is off her upcoming album titled "4" and is set for release on June 28.

The video, filmed in Los Angeles and the Mojave Desert, features a dance team from Africa, according to MTV News, and Beyonce was up to the challenge of learning their moves.

"We prepared a lot for it. We had seen something on YouTube; we had seen these three guys from Africa, this Mozambique African dance troupe ... we were like, 'Wow, this is an amazing movement,'" Beyonce's choreographer, Frank Gaston Jr., told the music channel.

He adds, "I feel like we really nailed it and, again, my hats off to the Tofo Tofo guys [from Africa], 'cause none of us could imitate that."

The video was directed by Francis Lawrence, who helmed films like "I Am Legend" and "Water for Elephants," and includes a cast of over 200 dancers and exotic animals.

The singer's new album was recorded over the span of a year, according to a press release from Beyonce's record label, Columbia Records. "The title signifies not only the artist's fourth solo offering and the day of her birth but it is also a personal gift to her fans," the press release said. "For over one year now her fans around the world took to their social media pages urging her to name the album for her special number. "

Report: ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage dies in a car crash

"Macho Man" Randy Savage, a professional wrestler who became a fan favorite thanks to his outlandish outfits and trademark catchphrase, died Friday in a car wreck, according to TMZ.

The 58-year-old Savage reportedly suffered a heart attack while driving his 2009 Jeep Wrangler in Tampa, Fla., and careened across lanes of oncoming traffic before colliding head-on with a tree. He died later at a local hospital.

Savage's wife Lynn, who was riding in the passenger seat, escaped with only minor injuries. Both passengers were wearing seatbelts and the police do not believe alcohol was a factor.

The World Wrestling Federation favorite from Ohio burst onto the scene in 1985 and quickly drew attention with his flamboyant outfits and "ooh yeah!" catchphrase. His marriage to Elizabeth Hulette, Ms. Elizabeth to fans, was one of the first high-profile wrestler/valet relationships. They divorced in 1992. Savage remarried last year.

He won two WWF championships in his career. His match against Ricky Steamboat in 1987's Wrestlemania III is considered one of the best WWF bouts ever. Savage won the title late that year, setting the stage for memorable battles with Hulk Hogan, who would eventually dethrone him as champion.

Savage also appeared in memorable ads for Slim Jim and played a wrestler in the 2002 hit film "Spider-Man."

Oprah's "Farewell Spectacular!" Is FILLED With Every Celebrity, from Tom Cruise and Tom Hanks to Aretha and Madonna

When you have star power like Oprah Winfrey, it doesn’t matter who you are…you’re just lucky to even be in the woman’s prescience. And last night, the famous, the legends, the best of the best, along with 13,000 fans, turned out to honor Oprah in her “Farewell Spectacular”.

The taping, which was complete in the hands of Oprah’s producers, and a complete surprise to Oprah herself, started off in the hands of Tom Hanks, who opened the show with class, saying,

“Now Oprah, I know you don’t like surprises…Let me see if I can put you at ease. There was an English playwright who said there’s no surprise more magical than the surprise of being loved, and that is what tonight is all about.”

From there, Tom Cruise came up on stage, showing a montage of the 12 times he had been on the show, starting back in 1988. Then, it was Madonna’s turn. Then, Diane Sawyer, dressed as a lit-up tree, announced that 25,000 oak trees would be planted in Winfrey’s honor. Oprah pointed into the audience shouting, “I just gave everybody a tree! You get a tree and you get a tree and you get a tree. Everybody gets a tree!.”

Beyonce, Rascal Flatts, Alicia Keys, Aretha Franklin, Jamie Foxx and Stevie Wonder all performed. Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith hosted the second hour, and the celebrities just kept coming…Jerry Seinfeld, Maria Shriver, Michael Jordan, Kristin Chenoweth, Maya Angelou. Even Winfrey’s longtime boyfriend, Stedman Graham, took the stage, honoring his longtime love:

“Honey, you are so special, and I am so happy … I’m so proud of you”

With tears running down her cheeks most of the night, Winfrey ended the show turning to the crowd, and thanking them:

“I feel the love! And I thank you for it. Thank you for being a part of this great night, this celebration for what you have done for the Oprah Winfrey show … your being here tonight … honors me in the deepest way possible.”

And then, to top it all off, Usher took the stage to sing a symphony-backed mashup of ‘O.M.G.’ and ‘Oh Happy Day’ mashup before bursting confetti canons blanketed the entire arena.

Definitely a legendary night worthy of a legend.

The live taping will air as a two-part series on May 23 and May 24 before Winfrey’s finale show on May 25.

David Letterman 'crushed' over Oprah Winfrey snub

David Letterman has joked that he is "disappointed and crushed" he was not invited to a recent taping of Oprah Winfrey's farewell show that marks the end of her longtime syndicated talk series.

The gala, which took place in Chicago on Tuesday, featured celebrities such as Tom cruise, Katie Holmes, Patti LaBelle, Usher, Halle Berry, Diane Sawyer and Arnold Schwarzenegger's estranged wife Maria Shriver.

"I spent the last 12 to 15 years kissing up to Oprah. Every day I get out of bed and I think, 'What can I do to suck up to Oprah? Guess who wasn't invited? Thank you very much, Oprah," Letterman, 64, said on his CBS talk show "The Late Show with David Letterman" on Wednesday, May 18.

He added that he was "more than upset - crushed. Disappointed and crushed," adding: "I want to just bask in the glory that is Oprah. Who doesn't? So I'm laboring with a broken heart here tonight."

A spokesperson for Winfrey's production company, Harpo, Inc., had no immediate comment.

Letterman has often poked fun at the veteran daytime talk show host and had running gag on his show called the "Oprah Log," which would show him talking about his goal of appearing on Winfrey's program.

At the 1995 Academy Awards, which Letterman hosted, a joke that featured him pretending to introduce Winfrey, 57, to actress Uma Thurman as "Oprah, Uma. Uma, Oprah ... Have you kids met Keanu?" fell flat. Winfrey and Thurman, who were sitting in the audience, laughed politely.

The relationship between Winfrey and Letterman appeared to be strained for years. She often rejected offers to appear on Letterman's former NBC talk show.

In 1993, Winfrey told Time magazine that while she had appeared on the program twice, she felt that during both times, "I was sort of like the butt of his jokes. I felt completely uncomfortable sitting in that chair, and I vowed I would not ever put myself in that position again."

Winfrey also added that she had a "great deal of respect for his talent."

The two appeared to reconcile in 2005, when she was a guest on the "Late Show." Letterman finally appeared on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" in 2007. Winfrey said at the time that her relationship with him had warmed.

Earlier that year, he and Winfrey appeared together in a commercial for his show that aired during the Super Bowl. They reunited on a similar television ad that also featured Letterman's longtime rival Jay Leno of NBC's "Tonight Show" in 2010. "The Oprah Winfrey Show" debuted in 1986, airs in 150 countries and has won 48 Emmy Awards. An estimated 40 million people watch the series every week. Its final episode is set to air on May 25.

Winfrey got a standing ovation from the 13,000 fans who attended her farewell gala, which also featured her longtime partner Stedman Graham and performances from singers such as Aretha Franklin, Beyonce and Stevie Wonder.

Footage from the taping is set to air on May 23 and May 24.

Winfrey is one of the most poweful celebrities in the world and recently made it to No. 2 on Forbes' annual Celebrity 100 list. The talk show has topped the roster four times in the past seven years and earned a reported $290 million last year. Singer Lady Gaga is No. 1 this year.

Winfrey launched her own cable channel, OWN, on January 1. The network features documentary and reality programs that feature Shania Twain, Lisa Ling, and other television personalities.

“According to her surgeon, she tolerated the procedure without difficulty and is recovering nicely with her husband at her bedside.”

Her rep also said the 73-year-old actress will require no additional treatment and the operation was fairly routine, but necessary:

Jill Scott loses 50 lbs and says 'I'm in a good place'

Singer Jill Scott has a lot to celebrate these days. She's gearing up to release of "The Light of the Sun," her first new album in four years and she's shed over 50 pounds to become the thinnest she's been in over 20 years.

"I'm past caring about some things that never mattered in the first place and [I'm] in love with my baby boy," Scott says in the June issue of Ebony, according to CNN.

Scott gave birth to her son Jett Hamilton Roberts in April 2009. The baby's father is Lil' John Roberts, Scott's boyfriend at the time and drummer in her stage band. The couple broke up a month after the child's birth. Previously Scott was married to Lyzel Williams, a DJ and graphic artist from 2001 to 2007.

The singer, who is also on the cover of the issue, adds, "I'm also unafraid. I know how much music has always meant to me, how much it means to us all, and I know there's someone out there, maybe just one someone, who can feel inspired by being brave."

As for getting fit, Scott says she got a little help from a personal trainer who knows her work out style. "Anything that makes me feel like I'm not working out. We go outside and throw footballs, go for walks," she said.

In the photos above, a slimmer Scott can be seen on the left arriving to the second annual Mary J. Blige Honors Concert to benefit FFAWN's Scholarship Fund, in New York, Sunday, May 1, 2011. On the right, Scott stands on the red carpet after arriving for the BET Honors in this Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008.

The actress also told the magazine, she is "in a good place."

Scott is both an accomplished singer and actress. She has won three Grammy awards and has had roles in the "Why Did I Get Married?" films and plays the lead role in "The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency" on Showtime.

The singer's new album "The Light of the Sun" is set for release on June 28.

Radiant Maria Shriver Disses Arnold on Oprah Appearance

Maria Shriver needs her friends more than ever right now -- including Oprah Winfrey, a close pal for over 30 years.

Which is probably why the TV journalist and estranged wife of Arnold Schwarzenegger appeared Tuesday before a crowd of 15,000 -- and a bevy of A-list stars -- to celebrate the final episodes of Winfrey's eponymous show after 25 years.

[Video: A look back at Arnold and Maria's marriage]

Half a day after her husband stunningly confessed to fathering an illegitimate child over a decade a ago with a female staffmember, Shriver took the stage at Chicago's United Center alongside Gayle King (Winfrey's other best girlfriend) around 10pm. (Find out what other stars showed up for the finale.)

Radiant in a sexy teal gown, Shriver paid tribute to her close friend. "For more than 30 years you have bestowed upon me the most amazing friendship," said Shriver, who has four kids with Schwarzenegger, 63.

[Photos: Surprise! These celebs are BFFs]

She even made a slight dig at her cheating spouse, noting to Winfrey: "You have shown love, support, wisdom, and most of all," she said, with a big, meaningful pause, "the truth."

Winfrey tightly squeezed her hand as the crowd erupted in applause.

"Over the years, you have shared that very generous spirit -- you've believed in others, so they can believe in themselves."

[Photos: Oprah's body through the years]

Shriver could certainly use some TLC these days. Earlier that day, she released her own statement about her estranged husband's shocking admission. "This is a painful and heartbreaking time," she said. "As a mother, my concern is for the children. I ask for compassion, respect, and privacy as my children and I try to rebuild our lives and heal. I will have no further comment."

Late Monday, multiple outlets reported that the other woman was Mildred Baena, who worked as the family's housekeeper-assistant for over 20 years, and allegedly gave birth to Schwarzenegger's son 14 years ago.

Jennifer Aniston's dog dies at 15

Jennifer Aniston has lost a long time companion, her 15-year-old dog Norman.

The actress' spokesperson confirmed dog's death to People magazine saying, "He died a few weeks ago. He was an old dog and it was just his time."

The dog was a Welsh corgi-terrier mix, according to the magazine.

"Really, the most unconditional form of love that you can encounter is with a dog," Aniston told Allure in January. "They're excited the minute you come home, and they show the same amount of excitement every day. They're loyal, and they're always, always faithful."

She described Norman as "a little bit skeptical. He's extremely wise, and ruffled by nothing. Not much impresses Norman."

The actress recently purchased a new home in New York under the name Norman's Nest Trust, after her dog, according to the New York Observer.

Aniston also has another dog, a 4-year-old white German shepherd named Dolly. Check out a video of Aniston with Norman during an appearance on "Chelsea Lately" in February below.

Rihanna argues with fan after the singer begins following Chris Brown on Twitter

Rihanna and Chris Brown may have moved on from their past, but some fans are vocal about the two singers following each other on Twitter.

Rihanna and Brown began following each other on Twitter recently and a fan was quick to let Rihanna know she didn't think it was the right move. "@rihanna I never thought you would go back to him! You better not, its your life but you do have ppl that look up to you. e.g young girls," iStan4Rihanna wrote on Friday.

The signer quickly responded, "Its [expletive] twitter, not the alter! calm down." Shortly after, the singer apologized to the fan saying,"babygirl I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt or offend u! Just needed to make it clear to the Navy! I still Stan for u xoxo."

Brown, a 21-year-old R & B artist, had pleaded guilty to felony assault for attacking the pop and R & B singer, his then-girlfriend, and was sentenced to five years of probation and six months of community service.

After the confrontation, Rihanna, 23, obtained a restraining order against Brown. In February, it was downgraded to a lower level. The two are allowed to contact each other.

Though Rihanna might be seeing Chris Brown's Tweets in her feed, the singer said in a March interview with Rolling Stone that she and Brown "don't have to talk ever again in my life," and adding that she agreed to downgrade the restraining order because, "I just didn't want to make it more difficult for him professionally. What he did was a personal thing - it had nothing to do with his career."

Kim Kardashian and Britney Spears Wore The Same Dress This Weekend

While Kim Kardashian almost always looks impeccably groomed -- no doubt with a team of 20 deliberating every hair, makeup and wardrobe decision -- Britney Spears usually dresses like an 8th grader at a slumber party.

But, this weekend, the two women sartorially crossed paths, if you will, as they wore the same Herve Leger dress across the country from one another. Kardashian wore it Friday night in Miami while Spears sported hers Saturday night in Los Angeles at Wango Tango.

Kardashian, who posted the pictures on her blog, attempted to downplay any of the Us Weekly-fueled "Who Wore It Best?" mentality by politely commenting, "love bright colors and Brit looks so fab! It's the perfect summer dress!"

We can't believe we're saying this -- and maybe we're just reacting to the shock of the rare occurrence of Spears seemingly putting some effort into her look -- but we think Spears may actually have won this "battle"? Hmmm, now that we're thinking about it though, we're not totally sure? What do you think? We will be deliberating this for the next 36 hours at least.

Shriver: It's a 'painful and heartbreaking time'

LOS ANGELES – Former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has acknowledged that he fathered a child with a member of his household staff, a revelation that apparently prompted wife Maria Shriver to leave the couple's home before they announced their separation last week.

Shriver separately issued a statement saying it was a "heartbreaking time," and two of their children, Patrick and Katherine, expressed their love for their family in separate Twitter messages.

Schwarzenegger and Shriver jointly announced May 9 that they were splitting up after 25 years of marriage. Yet, Shriver moved out of the family's Brentwood mansion earlier in the year after Schwarzenegger acknowledged the child is his, the Los Angeles Times reported Tuesday.

"After leaving the governor's office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago," Schwarzenegger told the Times on Monday in a statement that was later sent to The Associated Press. "I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry.

"I ask that the media respect my wife and children through this extremely difficult time," the statement concluded. "While I deserve your attention and criticism, my family does not."

Hours later, Shriver also released a statement: "This is a painful and heartbreaking time. As a mother, my concern is for the children. I ask for compassion, respect and privacy as my children and I try to rebuild our lives and heal. I will have no further comment."

In a Twitter posting Tuesday, Patrick Schwarzenegger, 17, said: "some days you feel like s---, some days you want to quit and just be normal for a bit, yet i love my family till death do us apart." He signed his tweet "Patrick Shriver."

That was followed later in the day by a Twitter message from his sister, 21-year-old Katherine Schwarzenegger.

"This is definitely not easy but I appreciate your love and support as i begin to heal and move forward in life," she said. "I will always love my family!"

The Times did not publish the former staffer's name or that of her child but said the woman worked for the family for 20 years and retired in January.

Schwarzenegger issued his statement to the Times late Monday, after the newspaper interviewed the former staffer. She had told the Times that another man — her husband at the time — was the child's father. When the Times later informed the woman of the governor's statement, she declined to comment further.

Schwarzenegger later released the statement to The Associated Press and other news organizations.

The child was born before Schwarzenegger began his seven-year stint in public office.

Shriver stood by her husband during his 2003 gubernatorial campaign after the Times reported accusations that he had a history of groping women. Schwarzenegger later said he "behaved badly sometimes."

In public comments after the couple announced their breakup, Schwarzenegger said last week that he and Shriver "both love each other very much."

"We are very fortunate that we have four extraordinary children and we're taking one day at a time," he said at a Los Angeles event marking Israeli independence. Their children range in age from 13 to 21.

Since his term as California governor ended in early January, Schwarzenegger, 63, has hopscotched around the world, his wife nowhere in sight. While the "Terminator" star appeared confident about the future since exiting politics, cutting movie deals and fashioning himself as a global spokesman for green energy, Shriver, known for her confidence, seemed unsettled.

Shriver, 55, maintained her own identity when her husband entered politics, though she gave up her job at NBC. Their union was often tested in Sacramento, where the former action star contended with a rough seven years of legislative gridlock, a budget crisis and lingering questions about his fidelity.

The estranged couple's initial separation statement referred to "a time of great personal and professional transition for each of us" but gave no hint of what caused the split.

Shriver had also mentioned "transitions" in a Facebook posting earlier this year but gave no details. At the time it seemed most likely to be a reference to the end of her role as California's first lady. Schwarzenegger had left office in January after seven years as California's governor. Shriver never moved to Sacramento during that time, but she used her position to run a popular yearly women's conference that drew high-profile attendees.

Shriver, daughter of Sargent and Eunice Kennedy Shriver, met the former Mr. Universe in 1977 at the Robert F. Kennedy Pro-Celebrity Tennis Tournament in Forest Hills, N.Y.

They married on April 26, 1986, in a white clapboard church in Hyannis, Mass., with many members of the Kennedy clan and celebrities present and a crowd of fans cheering outside. At the time she was an anchor on the "CBS Morning News" and he was filming a movie.

In addition to Patrick and Katherine, they have two other children, Christina, 19, and Christopher, 13.

Bristol Palin to move in with Kyle Massey for TV show

Bristol Palin and her son Tripp are set to move in with fellow ex-"Dancing With The Stars" contestant Kyle Massey and his brother Christopher for a new reality show.

The BIO cable channel said in a statement to OnTheRedCarpet.com on Monday, May 9, that it has ordered 10 half-hour episodes of the series, which has yet to be named and which follows the single mother's journey from Alaska to Los Angeles and her work at a charity. The show is set to air later this year.

Palin, the 20-year-old daughter of right-leaning politician Sarah Palin and an anti-teen pregnancy advocate, and Massey, a 19-year-old actor, became "extremely close" while they appeared on the 11th season of "Dancing With The Stars" last year, the BIO channel statement said.

Massey is known for his roles on Disney Channel shows such as "That's So Raven." His brother Christopher, 21, starred on the Nickelodeon series "Zoey 101." Massey placed second on the ABC ballroom dancing series, while Bristol Palin came in third. Jennifer Grey took home the trophy.

"Since the show, Bristol, Kyle, and Kyle's brother, actor Christopher Massey, have become best friends; so much so, that since Bristol and Tripp have to move to Los Angeles for her new job, she decides to move in with the Massey brothers who are also about to realize how much their lives are about to change," the BIO channel statement said.

Bristol Palin, who bought a home in Arizona last year, recently made headlines when she was photographed looking slimmer, especially in her face, prompting speculation she had plastic surgery. She has not commented.

She has been a tabloid favorite ever since her mother's 2008 vice presidential campaign. At the time, Bristol Palin was pregnant with Tripp, whose father is ex-fiance Levi Johnston, and later gave birth out of wedlock. Her son is now 2.

She later became a teenage pregnancy prevention advocate and has made personal and on-air appearances on behalf of the Candie's Foundation, whose mission statement is "to educate America's youth about the devastating consequences of teen pregnancy through celebrity PSA campaigns and initiatives."

It was recently revealed she was paid $262,500 in 2009 to advocate against teen pregnancy and talk about sex abstinence, which was part of her work with the Candie's Foundation.

Bristol Palin is also set to publish a memoir called "Not Afraid of Life," which is set to hit stores this summer.

Donald Trump NOT running for president, 'Celebrity Apprentice' finale approaches

Donald Trump says that he will not run for president of the United States, despite having raised the possibility earlier this year, but maintains he could have won an election.

The 64-year-old New York real estate mogul is also known as the host of NBC reality shows "The Apprentice" had mulled a 2012 presidential run and had said he would announce his decision before June, after the end of the current fourth season of "The Celebrity Apprentice." The finale airs on Sunday.

"After considerable deliberation and reflection, I have decided not to pursue the office of the Presidency," Trump said in a statement obtained by OnTheRedCarpet.com on Monday, May 16. "This decision does not come easily or without regret; especially when my potential candidacy continues to be validated by ranking at the top of the Republican contenders in polls across the country."

"I maintain the strong conviction that if I were to run, I would be able to win the primary and ultimately, the general election," he added. "I have spent the past several months unofficially campaigning and recognize that running for public office cannot be done half heartedly. Ultimately, however, business is my greatest passion and I am not ready to leave the private sector."

NBC had said recently that "The Celebrity Apprentice" will return for another season and that the network was prepared to replace Trump if he did decide to run for president in 2012.

Trump had throughout the past few weeks pressed President Barack Obama to release his official birth certificate to prove he was born in the United States and has criticized the U.S. leader and several other public officials over the country's economic woes as well as the handling of the situations in Libya, Iraq, China and Afghanistan.

"I will continue to push our President and the country's policy makers to address the dire challenges arising from our unsustainable debt structure and increasing lack of global competitiveness," Trump said in his statement on Monday. "I will also continue to push for job creation, an initiative that should be this country's top priority and something that I know a lot about."

"I look forward to supporting the candidate who is the most qualified to help us tackle our country's most important issues and am hopeful that, when this person emerges, he or she will have the courage to take on the challenges of the Office and be the agent of change that this country so desperately needs," he added. "Thank you and God Bless America!"

Trump has said last year that he was thinking about running for president in 2012 and laughed off suggestions that he might run with former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, who lost a Republican vice presidential bid in the 2008 election.

He had suggested running as a Republican in 1988 and eyed a presidential bid with the Reform Party in 1999. In 2007, he floated the idea of making talk show host Oprah Winfrey, now the world's most powerful celebrity, his running mate.

Since 2008, Trump has contributed more than $25,000 to campaigns of Democratic politicians and more than $2,000 to former Republican presidential candidate John McCain, public records show. In 2004, he donated funds to campaigns of both Bush and Kerry.

The finale of "The Celebrity Apprentice" is set to air on Sunday, May 22 and is down to two finalists - actress Marlee Matlin and country singer John Rich.
