PAINTED BOOTS ARE MADE FOR WALKING

Chatting it up over coffee, Miley Cyrus takes a cup to go with a pal after grabbing a bite to eat at Urth Caffe in West Hollywood on December 30. On a day that was fah-reezing by LA standards, Miley paid no attention to the temps and wore her painted cowboy boots with bleached denim cut-offs (try Tag Jeans' Lima Cut Off Short in Canyon). From there Miley layered a chunky wrap sweater (like Line's Morris Pocket Wrap in Zinc) over a black tee with plenty of turquoise jewelry, including a ring (like Femme Metale's Eva Turquoise Ring in Turquoise) and a swinging pendant necklace (love Amy DiGregorio's elegant twist on typically rugged turq Sandy Bay Necklace in 14K Gold Filled). MC carried a charcoal oversized tote at her side (try Julie K Handbags' Robin in Bubble Lamb in Grey), juggling her phone and keys along with her java fix. What do you think of Miley's unseasonable attire, would you be brave enough to bare your legs when it's below 60? I know I definitely was wearing a few more layers on Thursday! MC is back in LA after spending Christmas in Nashville with her family, returning to find out Miley placed at number 18 on the just released Forbes list of Hollywood's 20 Highest Earners of 2010. Ironic that she's #18 the year of her 18th birthday, no? According to the financial mag, Miley earned an estimated $48 million this year in combined profits from the Hannah Montana franchise and her other various entertaining endeavors. Not bad! Let's just hope her fortune doesn't go up in smoke like the now infamous video of her smoking the hallucinogen salvia with pals a few weeks ago. While Miley hasn't yet publicly commented on the incident, a close pal revealed she's vowed to make 2011 better after a heart-to-heart with her parents: "[Miley]’s headstrong and likes to make her own decisions, but she truly loves her Mom and Dad. She knew right away that this video of her partying with ‘pals’ and puffing on a bong would send them over the edge. After listening to their terrible fears that she’s heading down the wrong path and losing control, Miley made this solemn vow to her parents: She will straighten up and start acting like the role model to young fans that she should be!" What do you think, is this wishful thinking or do you really think MC's learned from her mistakes?

TWO #1 FILMS IN 2010

Enjoying the holidays with her fam, Jessica Alba and Cash Warren were spotted out with baby Honor Marie in Beverly Hills, CA on December 26. The happy fam did some post-Christmas shopping following a brunch with a few visiting guests. Jess bundled up to cope with the on-and-off showers plaguing LA, starting with a cute plaid coat (like Jack by BB Dakota's Plaid Long Coat in Ellen) over a charcoal tunic (try Fresh Laundry's Wedge Top with Lace in Charcoal), indigo skinnies (check out Joe's Jeans' Chelsea in Anabella) and black lace-up booties (similar to Farylrobin's Lance Knee-High Boot in Black). Jessica kept her peepers shaded with round black sunnies, carrying a silver accented black tote (try Julie K Handbag's Gabby in Black) as she strolled the shops. What do you think of Jessica's casual cold weather look, does it work for her? I really like her hair these days, the soft waves look so much more natural than her past styles and dye jobs. Besides the holidays, Jess has another great reason to celebrate – her new comedy Little Fockers came in at number one in the box office this weekend, making the funny flick her second number one film last year, with Machete making the first. Seems like 2010 was very good to Jessica! Now that the year is officially over, what are you readers looking forward to in 2011?

Britney's back with a new single

She's baaack! Two years after the release of her CD "Circus," Britney Spears is returning to the music scene with "Hold It Against Me," a new single set to debut next week.

"It's produced by Dr. Luke and Max Martin," Z100 New York program director Sharon Dastur tells Entertainment Weekly of the song. "And the beat that they give her is really unique compared to other artists - this infectious bass beat beneath the song. Plus, the hook is just amazing. It will be out on January 7."

Swedish producer Shellback also worked with Spears on the new CD, which is scheduled to drop in March.

"[Britney]'s actually damn professional. You read a lot on the internet that Britney is not singing and mimes, but she is actually damn professional," he has said. "She's done it since she was 16. And just rhythmic way, she is f-ing awesome! And you do not have to go through and talk about the rhythms and stuff that you sometimes have to do. She's very easy in the studio."

For her part, 29-year-old Spears, who is already casting dancers for an upcoming music video, couldn't be happier about her new album.

"I AM IN L-O-V-E WITH IT!" she tweeted on December 2.

Chuck Berry collapses on stage; rep says 'he's fine'

(CNN) -- Rock and roll icon Chuck Berry collapsed on stage during a Saturday night performance in Chicago after refusing medical attention earlier in the evening, a representative for the musician and the Chicago Fire Department said.

"He collapsed due to exhaustion, he then came back out to the crowd and did his 'duck walk' dance before leaving for the night," Andy Riesmeyer of CMG Worldwide, an agency that represents Berry, said in a statement Sunday.

Berry was unable to complete the show, Riesmeyer said.

Riesmeyer said Sunday that Berry, 84, "is fine" and that he has returned to his home outside St. Louis.

Late Sunday afternoon, Dick Alen, an agent from WME, which also represents Berry, told CNN that he "spoke to (Berry) just now. He is home in St Louis and sounds good and energetic."

The Chicago Fire Department responded to call from Chicago's Congress Theater at 10:30 p.m. Saturday, before Berry took the stage there, department spokesman Joe Roccasalva said,

But Berry said he didn't want to go to the hospital and signed a refusal of service form, Roccasalva said.

Roccasalva said he could not discuss the specifics of Berry's condition.

The singer and guitar player, who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986, has penned such classics as "Johnny B. Goode," "Roll Over, Beethoven" and "Brown Eyed Handsome Man."

Rupert Everett Slams Jennifer Aniston's 'Tasteless' Career

Don't expect Rupert Everett to work with Jennifer Aniston any time soon -- especially if she makes another "tasteless rom-com."

In an interview with BBC Radio 4, the actor said that certain stars retain A-list status despite underperforming at the box office, and used Aniston to illustrate his point.

"If you look and analyze the careers of many, many stars, you'll find that they're mostly sustained by the business," Everett said. "You'll find there's lots of women and lots of men in the business that the powers that be decide are right for their business, and they'll stand with them for quite a long time.

"OK, something will go wrong, like Jennifer Aniston will have one too many total flops, but she's still a member of that club," Everett continued. "And she will still manage to -- like a star forming in the universe, things will swirl around her and it will suddenly solidify into another vital tasteless rom-com, a little glitter next to the Crab Nebula."
