Prince William admits to pre-wedding nerves

He may have royal blood running through his veins, but Prince William is experiencing a very common condition to afflict grooms-to-be: nerves. "I was telling everyone I did the rehearsal the other day and my knees started tapping quite nervously," William, taking a brief break from his work as a rescue helicopter pilot, told reporters at the Royal Air Force base in North Wales -- where he also greeted his grandparents, Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh. "It's quite a daunting prospect," William admitted about getting married later this month, "but very exciting, and I'm thoroughly looking forward to it but there's still a lot of planning to be done in the last four weeks." One thing of which he is already proud: how he and brother Prince Harry kept last weekend's bachelor party away from prying eyes. "It's quite good news always to outfox the media, but it was a military operation and my brother and I are very proud of how it went," William, 28, told the BBC.

She then had an affair with a married man, whom she says she thought was single at the time. She also overdosed on sleeping pills in a suicide attempt. She later told GMA: “There’s so much that people don’t understand. They just see the glitz and the glamour, and they feel like life is so perfect, but we’re human and we go through things,” she said, listing the loss of her career and management among the major blows. She wrote an autobiography that came out over the summer and has been open about her struggle to reconcile her life in the spotlight.

Charlie Sheen's tour flops in Detroit with boos and walkouts

Charlie Sheen's "Violent Torpedo of Truth" tour got a rough start in Detroit on Saturday as word quickly spread through Twitter that Sheen's show was a flop. The actor's one man show kicked off in the Detroit as part of a 21-stop tour across North America. Associated Press reporter Mike Householder, who Tweeted during the event, reported, "Fans yell 'refund' at Sheen show in Detroit." Householder also said, "Sheen promised Snoop, who's thus far nowhere to be seen." The rapper never showed up and instead, Sheen debuted a new music video by the rapper, but by then many of the audience members had left. The show lasted 70-minutes with a capacity crowd at Detroit's 5,100-seat Fox Theatre, who began to rebel before the show ended, chanting "refund!" and walking out in droves. Tickets to the show cost $45 to $80. Sheen's publicist Larry Solters declined to comment to the Associated Press after the show, but Sheen reappeared after the house lights went up to thank those who remained. The actor hasn't mentioned the incident on his Twitter page. In fact, his last Tweet features a photo of the packed house with a caption that says, "The most honest city in the world honors the most honest man in the universe." The tour is set to resume in Chicago on Sunday. According to the wire service, the show started well for the 45-year-old Sheen, with the audience standing and cheering as he and the women he calls his "goddesses" took the stage. The women, a former porn star and an actress who live with him, carried placards with the words "War" and "Lock," a reference to Sheen's recent description of himself as a warlock. After the actor began to lose the audience, one member booed prompting Sheen to reply, "I've already got your money, dude." Other events included the actor screening a short film he wrote, directed and produced years ago called "RPG," which starred a much younger Johnny Depp. But that too was a failed attempt at winning over the crowd. Previously, Sheen's first tour dates in Chicago and Detroit sold out in just 18 minutes. The tour wraps up May 3 in Seattle after stops in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, New York, San Francisco and others. "I am bringing 'My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not an Option' show out to you in the battlefield," Sheen said in a video announcing the tour. "If you're winning, I'll see you there. Trolls need not apply & Buy your ticket. Take the ride. And the ride will take you." Meanwhile, the actor is still embroiled in a legal battle with after production on the hit CBS comedy "Two and a Half Men" was halted in February soon after Sheen, 45, unleashed a slew of erratic on-air ramblings against its executives and weeks after he underwent treatment for alcohol and drug addiction. Sheen was axed from the series on March 7. He has since filed a lawsuit, demanding $100 million. Check out his tour dates below. Snooki earns more than Toni Morrison in university speaking fee

Rutgers University in New Jersey is under fire after paying Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi more money to speak to students than Nobel Prize-winning author Toni Morrison, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Snooki, who stars on MTV's "Jersey Shore," was paid $32,000 to speak at the Livingston Student Center on Thursday, while Morrison, who wrote "Beloved" and "Song of Solomon," was paid $30,000 to deliver next month's commencement address to Rutgers' 2011 graduating class. Rutgers released a statement, defending their reputation by insisting that the students chose the reality TV star to speak at the university. "We have more than 200 events on our campus during the course of the year, everything from scholarly presentations to entertainment," Rutgers spokesman Steve Manas said in a statement. "The students canvassed for who they wanted here and had the funds available." For her appearance, Snooki did a two-hour question and answer session for approximately 1,000 co-eds. Her payment came from the student's tuition, which includes a mandatory activity fee. Snooki urged the students to "Study hard, but party harder" and told them that her ideal man would have a name that ends in a vowel. Rutgers University also received negative press last fall, when two freshmen were arrested for bullying a gay classmate to the point of suicide. Toni Morrison, 80, received a Pulitzer Prize and American Book Award for her 1987 novel "Beloved." In 1993, she received a Nobel Prize in Literature. Snooki published her book, "Snooki: A Shore Thing" in 2011 and will join the cast of "Jersey Shore" in Italy for the show's fourth season.
