Photographed celebrating her 25th birthday in Las Vegas at Pure Nightclub on February 12, Lauren Conrad dazzled in a glittering bronze dress and smiled as the paparazzi flashed away. For her birthday party ensemble, Lauren wore a sparkling Farah Khan dress, along with a pair of black patent leather pumps and minimal jewelry. Here at CoutureCandy, we have a nice selection of sequined frocks - check out Sue Wong's super similar All Over Beaded Mini in Rust/Black, Chaudry's Sequin Dress in Gold, Single's Sheer Sleeve Sequin Tunic in Brown, and Luc by Lucy's Sequins Dress in Grey. Which one is your favorite? I am loving this look on Lauren, it's polished yet still glam. I'm not too sure how I feel about that top bun, however - readers, weigh in. In other Lauren news, for those of you who heard about her new reality show getting dropped from MTV, fear not; it seems that LC is forging along with her show after all. It seems that other networks have expressed interest in picking up her series, as Lauren tells Us Weekly: "The amount of offers I've gotten has been very flattering. We all worked really hard on it and I'm really proud of it. It turned out fantastic, so stay tuned." In the time it takes for LC's show to find a new home, it seems the former "Hills" starlet is hard at work on her new line, Paper Crown. She says: "We just got our look book and we're going to Coterie in about a week, so we're very excited about that. Things are going really great. I'm running it with my best friends. It's a really fun project." If Lauren's show does indeed get picked up by another network, say E! or Bravo, would you tune in?

Jennifer Lopez - Simon Cowell Fuming Over Jennifer Lopez Rejection?
Jennifer Lopez - American Idol host Jennifer Lopez reportedly has former Idol judge Simon Cowell in a fit! Lopez who is one of the newest judges of the long-lasting show made popular by it's former host Simon Cowell has no plans to leave.According to the UK's Daily Mirror,
Jennifer Lopez has rejected Simon Cowell's advances to lure her from Idol to his new show the X FACTOR. Lopez was reportedly approached by Cowell shortly after she had signed on to Simon Fuller's 'Idol' and the newspaper claim that the music mogul began "begging her to ditch it and join the panel of US X Factor". The 41-year-old was "bowled over by Cowell's charm offensive" and initially agreed to make the switch, however, the singer and actress later changed her mind after Fuller personally flew to the US to speak with her.
One source revealed "Jennifer was perfectly happy with Idol, for which she earns $10million, until Cowell lured her away with all sorts of ludicrous promises. Fuller flew in specially to have a quiet word with her in which he pointed out that he wouldn't be making the Latino project she is so keen on unless she stayed". The insider goes on to say, "Jennifer quickly saw sense and pulled out of US X Factor, which is why you've got this unseemly scramble for judges going on as we speak".
Isn't Jennifer Lopez better off on American Idol?
Fantasia Barrino boycotted Grammys over Aretha Franklin tribute
Fantasia Barrino, an "American Idol" winner, says she did not attend the 2011 Grammy Awards, during which she won a prize for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, because she did not get to take part in a tribute performance honoring Aretha Franklin. The show's first 15 minutes were devoted to Franklin, who has won 18 Grammys during her career and recently underwent surgery for a mysterious ailment. Jennifer Hudson, an "American Idol" finalist, Christina Aguilera, Florence Welch of Florence + the Machine and Martina McBride performed a medley of some of the Queen of Soul's greatest hits. Hudson and Aguilera are both Grammy Award winners and the rest have been nominated for prizes before.
Barrino, who is also a past nominee, told the BET show "106 & Park" earlier this week that she opted to watch the ceremony from home. Barrino performed several of Franklin's hit songs, including "Think," during her time on "American Idol."
"They were honoring someone who is my idol, Aretha Franklin, and there is no way I could have sat there and not got the happy feet and wanting to jump on the mic because she is my favorite so I felt like, you know, at the end of the day I should have been on that stage so, I kind of did my own little thing," Billboard.com quoted Barrino as saying.
"I watched Cee Lo's performance, I love Cee Lo, love Gaga, watched Gaga, and I love Rihanna's performance, but I kind of cooked and did my own think last night and was in my own world and was hoping that I won," Barrino added. "I have this feeling, like every year I go, I feel like they always look over some of the good singers that are still around and I'm not trying to be funny but that's just the way I felt."
Spokespeople for the Recording Academy, which votes on and organizes the Grammy Awards, has no immediate comment.
Meanwhile, Barrino, is gearing up to star in her first major film. She recently nabbed the lead role in a biopic about the life of gospel singer Mahalia Jackson, who was also a civil rights activist and an early supporter of Martin Luther King Jr.
Barrino won "American Idol" in 2004 and starred starred in a a 2006 Lifetime television biopic called "Life Is Not a Fairy Tale: The Fantasia Barrino Story," about her life. The singer also starred on Broadway in the musical version of "The Color Purple" as Celie.
Last year, she revealed she attempted suicide in August by trying to overdose on sleep medication and aspirin. She said her "American Idol" experience and a relationship with a married man were among the factors that drove her to try and take her own life.
Beyonce close to finishing a new album, report says
Beyonce is reportedly almost complete with her fourth studio album, according to MTV.Australian singer/songwriter Sia, whose track "Breathe Me" was featured in the critically acclaimed "Six Feet Under" series finale, revealed in a recent interview that she has a chance to write a song for Beyonce's follow-up to the 2008 hit album "I Am ... Sasha Fierce."
Sia wrote two songs off of Christina Aguilera's recent "Bionic" album and said she put the word out that she wanted to collaborate with Beyonce.
"I just said to all the producers, writers, everyone, help me make this happen," Sia said. She adds that she heard back from music producer and Philadelphia DJ, Diplo, who has collaborated with artists like M.I.A. "Diplo e-mailed me and said, 'Where are you in the world right now? Would you be interested in flying to New York? I'm writing with Beyonce,' and I was like, 'Yesss!'"
However, scheduling conflicts prevented the singer from being able to fly to New York to make it happen, but she is still pitching songs to the singer. "There's only one song left for this album, so I probably won't get on this album, but hopefully the next one. That's my dream, that's my goal," she said.
The Brooklyn based music duo Sleigh Bells confirmed to NME that they have also collaborated with Beyonce on her new album. Songwriter and guitarist Derek Miller told the site, "I actually have no idea if the collaboration will ever be released."
"Beyonce works with whoever she wants to work with, probably 30 or 40 producers. It's a totally different world from what I'm used to," he added. "So for me it's just exciting to hear something that I worked on but I can't really say any more than that."
Other unconfirmed collaborators nclude Ne-Yo, who co-wrote Beyonce's hit "Irreplaceable" and The-Dream.
Beyonce's last release, "I Am Sasha Fierce" has sold six million copies wordwide and earned her five Grammys. The singer is also in negotiations to star in the remake of "A Star is Born" with Clint Eastwood as a director.
