Katy Perry has released her new video for new single 'Et'. Katy Perry's new single, 'Et', features Kanye West and sees the singer suspended in space as an alien life-form, and sees her in a steamy embrace with a robot. The video, which already has over 5 million views on YouTube, has sparked a debate on whether the singer has followed in the footsteps of Lady Gaga's 'Born this Way'. The LA Times dubbed the video 'unoriginal', stating 'what she does do well is to absorb everything she sees around her and then present it in an ultra-shiny package that never takes itself too seriously.' Perry is almost unrecognisable in her alien makeup, which according to the video's make up stylist Carol Beadle was inspired by 'jellyfish and amoebas.' Talking to MTV News she said 'I just wanted [Katy] to look really odd, unreal if we could, but still fashionable.' As Contactmusic.com reported yesterday, she has recently announced that she plans to do a real-life trip into space trip with husband Russell Brand for his 35th birthday. The singer bought the comedian a space on the chartered Virgin space flight for his birthday and announced she was going with him, explaining: 'I just thought, 'What else can I give this man? He's had every experience in the world, but not a trip to space!' '

Pauley Perrette To Release Duet With Navy Veteran

Pauley Perrette is set to release an R&B duet with a Navy veteran. The actress and star of Ncis has teamed up with a veteran named B. Taylor to record 'Fire in Your Eyes', an upbeat duet set for release on 3rd May 2011, reports Forbes. Perrette and Taylor first met when he paid a visit to the set of the hit Cbs legal drama about Naval investigators. He was invited by a friend who is an advisor on the series and was soon introduced to the 42-year-old actress. The two hit it off immediately and she invited him to attend her church, the Hollywood United Methodist. Their time together inspired the veteran to write 'Fire in Your Eyes' and Perrette was only too happy to feature on the record. The actress's spokeswoman Belinda Foster says the single will be released on Universal Music Group's Bungalo Records and will be available via iTunes. A music video is also planned but further details are yet to be released. Pauley Perrette, who plays Abby Sciuto on Ncis, recorded the song 'Fear' for the show's official soundtrack back in 2009. She was also the lead singer in the Los Angeles-based all-female band 'Lo-Ball'

Well according to Diaz in an interview with PEOPLE, everything “really wasn’t a big deal”, and the two “had a great time” together: “He’s a genius comedian, everybody knows…”Saturday Night Live’ and all the stuff that he’s done over the years, he’s clearly talented. We went for the best person for the job, and it just so happened that it was him. And he delivers.” Diaz said that no matter what happened, it was great to just work on something with Timberlake where all they had to do was laugh: “Justin and I have always had a good laugh together, and to make a movie where we get to have a laugh together…There really was no one else who was more perfect for this part. That’s why he got the part.” Timberlake and Diaz split in 2007 after four years of dating. Timberlake recently split from longtime girlfriend Jessica Biel, while Diaz’s relationship with New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez is going strong.

Penelope Cruz is set to be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday, April 1. The 36-year-old Spanish actress won an Oscar for her performance in the 2008 movie "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" and was nominated for two Academy Awards for her roles in"Volver" and "Nine." She is also known for movies such as "Vanilla Sky" and "Sahara." Cruz recently filmed the fourth "Pirates of the Caribbean" film, "On Stranger Tides," which is set for release on May 20. She plays Anjelica, love interest of Johnny Depp's character, Captain Jack Sparrow. The two also starred together in the movie "Blow" in 2001. In January, Cruz welcomed her first child, a baby boy, with husband and fellow Spanish native and Oscar-winner Javier Bardem. Cruz, 36, and Bardem, 42, married in the Bahamas in early July after dating since at least 2007. The two met while filming the Spanish movie "Jamon, Jamon" in 1992.
