"Sir Elton John, a favorite of the late Princess Diana, has revealed that he could perform at Prince William's upcoming wedding to Kate Middleton, reports the Daily Mail - but possibly not in the way you'd think.Asked during a recent Radio 2 interview if he would be singing at the April 29, 2011, ceremony at London's Westminster Abbey, John replied, 'I probably am,' before joking, 'I'll probably be busking outside.' The 63-year-old superstar was good friends with William's late mother and famously performed a reworked version of his classic 'Candle in the Wind' at her 1997 funeral. While John may have a bit of history with the Royal Family, he insists that he will not write about them when he kicks off his gig as a guest editor for The Independent newspaper. 'There’s not going to be much about the royal wedding in there,' he says. 'I think we’ve had enough of that for the time being.'"
