The second season of Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom's show "Khloe & Lamar" will cover the couple's big move from Los Angeles to Dallas, Texas.
The move is part of Odom's recent trade from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks. The second season of the show will premiere on February 19 and will capture all the drama behind the move, according a statement from E!.
The season will also focus on the tension in the couple's relationship because Kardashian's "overprotective nature" and Lamar's relationships with Rob Kardashian and his own estranged father.
On Monday, Kardhasian said she was "looking forward" to moving to Dallas. "I've heard nothing but great things about Dallas and the Mavs. Can't wait to join my hubby there and get to know the city and all the wonderful people there," she told E! News.
In a series of Tweets on December 11, Kardashian initially had a less rosy outlook. "We are all sad but positive energy gets you farther then negative," Khloe Tweeted to a fan on Saturday. She later added in another Tweet, "I am blessed and happy anywhere as long as I am with my family! God is great!! Blessed beyond words! I love ALL of my dolls!"
Meanwhile, the Dallas Mavericks seem ready for Odom to make himself at home at the stadium. The official Twitter account for the team Tweeted a photo of Odom's new locker to Kardashian.
"Need some candy in there," Kardashian replied.
The team's head coach, Rick Carlisle also appeared excited about the new addition to the team, even if reality cameras will be following behind.
"I will say this: Khloe's my favorite Kardashian. She's the coolest," Carlisle told the Dallas Morning News on December 11. News of Odom's trade initially broke on December 11 and came after a botched trade earlier in the week that almost had Odom packing up to New Orleans.
Odom has kept quiet on his Twitter page since talking to fans about the proposed New Orleans trade on December 8.
Kardashian married the former Los Angeles Lakers basketball player in September 2009. The couple appears on "Keeping up with the Kardashians" and the spin-off, "Khloe & Lamar." Odom has been with the Lakers since 2004. Before that he played for the Miami Heat for a season and started out his career with the Los Angeles Clippers.
The reality star previously laughed off reports that she and perhaps her reality franchise was responsible for getting Odom traded. "I am curious as to how I am the cause for any trade? LOL Some people just say anything behind their computer screens," She wrote on December 11.
