Beyonce's surprise 'Let's Move!' visit to Harlem school goes viral

When students gathered PS 161 Pedro Albizu Campos middle school in Harlem, New York to perform Beyonce's latest dance routine, they might not have been expecting the singer to stop by and join in.

The surprise, seen below around the 1:30 mark, was part of the national "Let's Move! Flash Workout" campaign. Students can be seen stunned as they try to regain their composure and stay in step with the pop superstar.

Last week, Beyonce debuted her music video "Move Your Body" to fight childhood obesity in support of Michelle Obama's "Let's Move!" campaign. In the video, Beyonce is shown starting a flash mob dance in a junior high cafeteria, leading students through various choreographed dance moves.

"It's all about promoting the benefits of healthy eating and exercise," Beyonce said in her promotional video. "But what we want to do is make it fun by doing something that we all love to do and that's dance."

The singer revamped her 2007 hit "Get Me Bodied" for the video, which will be shown at schools as part of an initiative sponsored by the National Association Of Broadcasters, the American Association Of School Administrators, the National Middle School Association, and the National School Boards Association.

Even First Lady Michelle Obama was in to the workout on May 3 when she visited the Alice Deal Middle School in Washington, D.C. ABC News was on hand to capture the First Lady doing "The Dougie" and "The Running Man."
