Remember when Saturday Night Live had that skit about Will Smith’s seed taking over the world? Yeah, it’s coming true…Jaden Smith is just 12, but the kid has already pulled in a seven-figure salary for his role in THE KARATE KID and its upcoming sequel.
TMZ obtained a copy of young Jaden”s contract, and he was paid in two installments for the two films: first $900,000 and then $100,000! And to top it off, the contract was signed when Jaden was just 10 years old!
But no, people, that’s not all! Thanks to the film’s $150 Million take at the box office, Smith received a $2 million bonus! And that’s not including perks and royalties on the films!
All I know is when I was 12, I was getting $5 a week for allowance…that’s a lot less zeros…*sigh*
