Kate and Pippa Middleton named top beauty icons of 2011

Kate Middleton, formally known as the Duchess of Cambridge and her sister Pippa Middleton have been named the top beauty icons of 2011, by the UK Superdrug chain.

The sisters topped a list of celebrities in the poll, which was conducted with a pool of 3,000 women in the United Kingdom, according to the UK's Daily Mail.

The 29-year-old Duchess and her 28-year-old little sister have emerged as style icons over the past year, following the Royal Wedding in April.

Also landing in the poll's top five positions were former "X Factor" judge Cheryl Cole, Rihanna and British morning show host Holly Willoughby.

"What is fascinating is that four of the five celebrity women to appear in the top five are brunettes, which would indicate that while blondes may have more fun, brunettes are seen to be more beautiful," Superdrug Director of Beauty Sara Wolverson told the Daily Mail.

Beyonce, Emma Watson, Katy Perry, Victoria Beckham, Kelly Rowland, Lady Gaga, Adele, Angelina Jolie, Keira Knightley and Scarlett Johannson also made the list.

"We can see directly how changing celebrity trends affect our sales, from the 'Duchess effect' on sales of black eyeliner, to the 'Gaga effect' causing crazy nail art and our brightest cosmetics being a huge hit all year long, and Rihanna and Cheryl Cole's flirtation with vibrant red hair causing sales to rocket," Wolverson explained.

Prince William married Kate Middleton in London on April 29 in a ceremony watched by millions of people around the world, including more than 22 million viewers in the United States.

The Duchess has been the target of pregnancy rumors over the past months, most notably for turning down peanut paste, but she appeared to be very slim at a recent event.

Meanwhile, it was reported that Pippa broke up with her boyfriend, former England cricketer Alex Loudon in November.

Michael Jordan engaged to model Yvette Prieto

Former NBA professional Michael Jordan got engaged to his girlfriend, Cuban-American model Yvette Prieto, his rep Estee Portnoy confirmed to the Associated Press.

Jordan and the 32-year-old model had been dating for three years before the basketball player proposed over the Christmas weekend. A wedding date has not yet been set.

This will be Jordan's second marriage. The 48-year-old athlete, who is the majority owner of the Charlotte, North Carolina Bobcats, was previously married to Juanita Vanoy between 1989 and 2006. They have three children, Jeffrey Michael, 23, Marcus James, 21, and Jasmine, 19.

The NBA website refers to Jordan as "the greatest basketball player of all time." He played for the Chicago Bulls between 1984 and 1998 and joined the Washington Wizards from 2001 to 2003.

Jordan also appeared in the 1996 live action/animated movie "Space Jam," opposite Bugs Bunny.

Beyonce rumored to have given birth, causes Twitter frenzy

Beyonce reportedly gave birth to a baby at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital in New York on December 29, which sparked a Twitter frenzy but no evidence.

Though none of the reports have been confirmed and Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z have remained mum on the matter, fans congratulated the stars on the birth of their daughter, who is allegedly named Tiana-May Carter and has already become a Twitter trending topic.

Beyonce's rep had no immediate comment on the reports.

The first news of the couple's birth was published on MediaTakeOut.com, who claimed they had confirmation from two nurses at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital that they were preparing the labor suite for Beyonce's arrival. The entertainment site was also responsible for claiming Beyonce's baby bump was fake and claimed on Friday that a baby was born in New York named Tiana-May, but not to Beyonce.

It is unknown when Beyonce is due to give birth. Though Beyonce reportedly announced her due date to be in February, The New York Post reported that during a video shoot in late September, the singer said that she was six months pregnant.

The 30-year-old singer announced her pregnancy during the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards in August. During her 2011 MTV VMA performance she told the audience, "I want you to feel the love that's growing inside me." At the end she opened her sequined tuxedo jacket and rubbed her stomach, to the delight of the crowd.

"Physically I was starting to show, so it was only a matter of days before someone zoomed in," Beyonce told Katie Couric on "20/20" earlier in the month. "So I just wanted it to be from me, and I wanted it to be something that was a celebration of something so beautiful. And I didn't want to release a picture or a statement. I figured the biggest statement was to -- just be."

It will be the first child for the singer, who is married to 41-year-old rapper Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Corey Carter. The couple got married on April 4, 2008. The nuptials were so secret that no photos or video from the event were released. The couple got married with a close circle of 40 friends and family members after dating for six years.

The singer has kept quiet about the sex of her baby, her former Destiny's Child band mate Kelly Rowland might have accidentally revealed that Beyonce is expecting a girl.

Russell Brand files for divorce from Katy Perry

Russell Brand has filed for a divorce from his wife of 14 months, Katy Perry.

"Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage," the 36-year-old comedian told the Associated Press on Friday. "I'll always adore her and I know we'll remain friends."

Brand cited "irreconcilable differences" in the documents, which were filed in a Los Angeles Superior Court on December 30. The couple had no children together.

Perry, 27, and Brand were married on October 23, 2010 in a traditional Hindu ceremony in Rajasthan, India, where Brand also proposed to the singer. The two began dating in September 2009 after the singer performed on the MTV Video Music Awards that were hosted by Brand.

Perry and Brand were both photographed without their wedding rings over the holiday.

Perry spent Christmas in Hawaii with friends while Brand was in his native England. People magazine obtained photos of Perry and Brand, sans wedding rings -- Perry was spotted frolicking in the ocean over the weekend, while Brand was seen walking in London on Thursday.

According to the Us Weekly, the pair had a "massive fight" before deciding to spend the holidays apart. The weekly claims that Perry was previously planning to join Brand in England, with her family in tow, before the argument occurred

Neither Perry nor Brand addressed the reports.

Earlier in the month, the singer took to her official Twitter page to shoot down rumors that she is divorcing Russell Brand and/or is pregnant.

"First I'm pregnant & then I'm divorced. What am I 'All My Children'?! #ericakane #pshhh #ifihadadollarforeverytime," Perry wrote, referring to the soap opera character played by Susan Lucci on the long running series.

Brand also denied the divorce rumors on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" earlier in the month.

"There are always rumors, aren't there? In the end you have to just not engage with Internet technology," he said. "Which is difficult because a lot of the nude women websites I quite enjoy!"

"I've treated the whole Internet now as if it's a wicked little liar," he added. "Yeah. I am really happily married."

Brand also talked about his desire to start a family. "I really would like one," he told DeGeneres about having children. "I love those little babies in the beginning. They're so lovely at that bit."

The pair have have been seeing one another for some time, but they were finally photographed looking like a couple when they went to the California beach town where Kinney resides.

Kid Cudi writes letter about Texas teen fan that died on Christmas

Kid Cudi, the hip hop artist known for hits like "Day 'n' Nite" and "Pursuit of Happiness," wrote an open letter to a Texas teen fan who Cudi discovered via a viral YouTube video shortly after the fan died.

Ben Breedlove was an 18-year-old from Texas who posted YouTube videos about his experience cheating death three times. Breedlove suffered from hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, a condition in which a part of the heart is thicker than other parts. The condition makes it difficult for the heart to pump blood, according to ABC News.

Breedlove's most recent scare happened on December 6. He described the incident in the second video posted on YouTube and was at school when he passed out. Breedlove wrote on index cards in the video, which can be seen below, that when he awoke, he was surrounded by EMS medics who were trying to revive him with shock pads.

Breedlove said he believed he was dying. "The next thing that happened, I'm not sure if it was a dream, or vision. But while I was still unconscious I was in this white room. No walls it just went on and on..."

He added, "I was wearing a really nice suit and so was my fav rapper, Kid Cudi. Why he was the only one there with me, I'm still trying to figure out."

Breedlove died on December 25 of a heart attack. His videos as of this writing have gotten over 1.3 million views.

Breedlove's funeral is scheduled to take place on Thursday in Austin, Texas. "Do you believe in angels or God?" Breedlove asked on a card toward the end. "I do."

"I am so sad about Ben Breedlove," Kid Cudi, whose real name is Scott Mescudi, wrote on his Tumblr blog on December 26. "I watched the video he left for the world to see, and him seeing me in detail, in his vision really warmed my heart. I broke down, I am to tears because I hate how life is so unfair."

"This has really touched my heart in a way I cant describe, this is why I do what I do," he added. "Why I write my life, and why I love you all so much. Life is really [expletive] up sometimes, but I know Ben is at Peace, and I hope he gets a chance to sit and talk with my Dad. We love you Ben. Forever. Thank you for loving me."

Jennifer Aniston explains her cropped bob haircut

Anytime Jennifer Aniston gets a new hairstyle it makes headlines but recently the actress explained why she decided to chop off her long layered hairstyle for a shoulder-length bob in February.

"The real reason I cut my hair? My real hair was getting thinned out again from all the extensions," Ansiton told InStyle magazine for its January 2012 issue. "It was starting to look fake."

The haircut came during Aniston's press tour for "Just Go With It" co-starring Adam Sandler. The actress has been sporting a longer and more blonde look lately when stepping out with boyfriend Justin Theroux .

Aniston got close to Theroux while filming their upcoming movie, "Wanderlust."

The R-rated comedy, which is slated for release on February 24, 2012, follows Aniston and Paul Rudd as they leave their city lives and land in a clothing-optional hippie commune.

Of course, Aniston's most famous hairstyle is "The Rachel," a short, layered hairstyle she sported on the early seasons of "Friends."

The 41-year-old actress shot to fame playing Rachel Green on the sitcom between 1994 and 2004. Millions of girls and women copied her character's shoulder-length, layered hairstyle, seen throughout most of the series.

However, in a February 2011 interview with Allure magazine, the actress said it was "the ugliest haircut I've ever seen."

Earlier this month, Aniston was named the Sexiest Woman of All Time by Men's Health magazine.

The fitness magazine compiled a list of 100 of the sexiest women and Aniston beat out the other women in the top five -- Raquel Welch, Marilyn Monroe, Britney Spears and Madonna, for the top spot.

Russell Brand and Katy Perry ditch wedding rings amidst split reports

Katy Perry and Russell Brand haven't commented on reports that they're having marriage problems, but they have both been photographed without their wedding rings.

Neither Perry nor Brand has addressed the reports.

Perry, 27, and Brand, 36, were married on October 23, 2010 in a traditional Hindu ceremony in Rajasthan, India, where Brand also proposed to the singer. The two began dating in September 2009 after the singer performed on the MTV Video Music Awards that were hosted by Brand.

Brand also talked about his desire to start a family. "I really would like one," he told DeGeneres about having children. "I love those little babies in the beginning. They're so lovely at that bit."

Though Brand is looking forward to having children eventually, Perry has had to deny rumors that she is already pregnant. In November, the singer laughed off rumors that she was expecting telling "The Insider" that the bump people saw in her tight-fitting dress at the American Music Awards was from too much fast food.

"I like In-N-Out Burger and Taco Bell and if you want to make that pregnant that's your problem," she told the entertainment program. "I still love drinking alcohol so not yet."

Janet Jackson is PETA's 'Grinch of the Year'

Janet Jackson has landed on PETA's "naughty" list this holiday, and Kim Kardashian isn't far behind.

The animal rights organization has named Jackson "Grinch of the Year" for launching a fur collection, according to GossipCop.

"When Janet Jackson had her infamous 'wardrobe malfunction' during the Super Bowl, at least the flesh that popped into view was her own - unlike the stolen animal skins that she drapes herself with, which are as dead as her taste in fashion (not to mention her career)," the organization says in a press release.

PETA doesn't mince words with Kim Kardashian, either.

"Some have speculated that Kim Kardashian's wedding to NBA forward Kris Humphries was fake. Too bad the socialite princess doesn't have the same enthusiasm for faking her fur," the org says. "Unlike her sweet sister Khloe, who starred in her own PETA anti-fur ad, Kim just can't seem to divorce herself from fur and say 'I do' to a kind and kompassionate wardrobe."

They don't stop there, however. PETA further questions Kim's sartorial choices with billboards that call her out for wearing fur. The images depict Kim's face next to a photo of foxes and a headline that reads, "Kim: These babies miss their mother. Is she on your back?"

Lisa Lange, PETA's senior vice president, tells CNN in a statement regarding the billboards, "Kim is clearly oblivious to the horrific suffering of animals for fur, but it will be tough for her to ignore this billboard. By putting her cruel and out-of-touch fashion choices on display, we hope that Kim will be compelled to make a change, and shoppers will be motivated to make more compassionate purchases."

Justin Bieber gives childhood friend, Ryan Butler, a Mustang?

It appears Justin Bieber doesn't hold back when it comes to getting his close friends presents for the holidays.

Bieber's childhood buddy, Ryan Butler, posted a picture of a Mustang on his Twitter page with the caption, "Justin got me a present. #swag!!!"

Bieber hasn't commented on the gift, but if he is indeed the "Justin" that Butler's referring to, the teen heartthrob's generosity shouldn't surprise fans, considering he ranked No. 2 this year on DoSomething.org's list of Top 20 Celebs Gone Good, which recognizes celebrities for their charity work.

The "Baby" singer earned second place for launching the Believe Charity Drive, which benefits causes such as music education and children's cancer.

Lady Gaga sued by ex-assistant for $380,000 of unpaid overtime

Lady Gaga was hit with a lawsuit last week by an ex-assistant who claims the singing superstar owes her $380,000 in unpaid overtime.

Jennifer O'Neill, who worked for Lady Gaga as a personal assistant, filed a lawsuit against Lady Gaga's touring company in Manhattan federal court for 7,168 hours of unpaid overtime, according to The New York Post. The time comes from when O'Neill served as the entertainer's assistant from late 2009 to 2010 while she was on the Monster Ball world tour.

O'Neill, 41, reportedly claims her duties included everything from "ensuring the promptness of a towel following a shower" to "serving as a personal alarm clock" to the singer. She also claims that her job required her to be on hand at Lady Gaga's "earliest waking hour" and for "spontaneous, random matters in the middle of the night."

O'Neill said Lady Gaga was demanding her services everywhere, including "stadiums, private jets, fine hotel suites, yachts, ferries, trains and tour buses." O'Neill also said there was no time for breaks, meals "or at times, even sleep."

She reportedly earned $75,000 a year for the job. In addition to the overtime pay, she is also seeking damages.

Lady Gaga's spokesperson told the newspaper that the lawsuit is "completely without merit."

The 25-year-old singer was recently named "Entertainer of the Year" by the Associated Press.

Her honor of "Entertainer of the Year" was voted on by 135 AP editors and broadcasters, who sought to choose the individual who had the most influence on entertainment and culture in 2011. Lady Gaga narrowly edged out the late Apple founder Steve Jobs by three votes, as well as others such as Taylor Swift, Charlie Sheen, Adele and the cast of "Harry Potter," according to the AP news wire.

Previous winners of the AP Entertainer of the Year award include Betty White, Taylor Swift, Tina Fey and Stephen Colbert.

Jennifer Hudson turned down 'Precious' because of weight

Jennifer Hudson could have had two Oscars under her belt.

The singer and actress, who won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2006 for her role as Effie White in "Dreamgirls," says in her new book that she turned down the lead role in the 2009 film "Precious" because it would have required her to gain weight.

"I had [gained weight] with Effie [in 'Dreamgirls']," she says in her memoir "I Got This: How I Changed My Ways and Lost What Weighed Me Down," according to Uptown Magazine. "And as much as I was moved by this film, I wanted to try a role that had nothing whatsoever to do with my weight."

"Precious" is based on the novel "Push" by Sapphire. The lead role of Claireece "Precious" Jones, a troubled, pregnant teenager, eventually went to newcomer Gabourey Sidbe, who was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress.

(Check out other roles that actors and actresses, such as Johnny Depp and Sandra Bullock, almost played)

Hudson, a former "American Idol" finalist, went on to have a role in the first "Sex and the City" film in 2008. She plans to discuss her weight loss secrets in the upcoming memoir.

Hudson is now a spokeswoman for "Weight Watchers" and in January, she told Oprah Winfrey that she has lost 80 pounds, going from a size 16 to a size 6 through diet and exercise. She is now reportedly a size zero.
The singer and actress recently caught up with OnTheRedCarpet.com at the American Music Awards, to talk about her upcoming projects.

"I have a book coming out in January, look for my book," Hudson told OnTheRedCarpet.com at the American Music Awards. "Also, music -- I'm going back into the studio soon to work on my music as well. 'I Remember Me' is out right now, which is my second album. Also, more films, I'm going to start filming in the spring of next year. So look for movies, music and a book!"

Taylor Lautner is NOT Gay, Despite a Fake People Magazine Cover Related Posts

Many gay men were excited this morning and many tween girls were crying. However, after a few hours of confusion, it turns out that Taylor Lautner is NOT gay.

According to Reuters, last night, a fake People magazine cover featuring Lautner claiming that he is “Out & Proud” hit the web, the cover reading:

“Tired of rumors, the ‘Twilight’ star opens up about his decision to finally come out: ‘I’m more liberated, and happier than I’ve ever been.’”

Even some celebrities thought the cover was real, including hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons, who tweeted:

“Proud of Taylor Lautner for his bravery and his courage.”

It was soon noticed that while the fake cover is dated “January 7, 2012,” its sidebar is recycled from a 2006 cover.

No word from Lautner about the incident. However, after finding out that the cover was a fake, Simmons tweeted,

“Disappointed that people would joke about someone coming out about their sexuality. Let Taylor Lautner be whoever he wants to be.”

Heavy D died of natural causes, according to coroner's report

Heavy D, a rapper who rose to fame in the 1990s with hits such as "Now That We Found Love," died of natural causes at age 44 on November 8, the Los Angeles coroner's office announced on December 27.

The rapper, whose real name was Dwight Errington, collapsed outside his Beverly Hills home and later died at a hospital.

Coroner's office spokesman Craig Harvey told the Associated Press on Tuesday, that the cause of death was a pulmonary embolism -- a blockage of the main artery of the lung -- and deep leg vein thrombosis -- which causes the formation of blood clots in the leg. The rapper had lost a significant amount of weight over the years and suffered from arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease. The coroner's office also said that a transcontinental jet flight was also a contributing factor to his death.

John Legend and his fiancee, model Chrissy Teigen, were among several celebrities at the rapper's funeral on November 18.

Heavy D was born as Dwight Arrington Myers in Jamaica and was raised in New York. He began his music career as a young adult and formed a hip hop group called "Heavy D & the Boyz."

The act's debut album, "Livin' Large," was released in 1987. A year later, sophomore record "Big Tyme" hit stores and went platinum. The group's breakout hit, "Now That We Found Love," was released in 1991 and is featured on the group's third album, "Peaceful Journey." Heavy D & the Boyz also achieved mainstream success with the 1994 song "Nuttin' But Love."

Heavy D released his first solo album, "Waterbed Hev," in 1997. His fourth, "Love Opus," hit stores in September. A month later, Heavy D performed at the 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards in October 2011, marking his final major televised performance and his first live one in some 15 years.

Heavy D & the Boyz is also known for singing the theme song for the television program "In Living Color." Heavy D also provided the rap vocals on Michael Jackson's 1991 song "Jam" and on the King of Pop's sister Janet's 1990 song "Alright."

Heavy D also worked as an actor. He starred on the television drama "Boston Public" between 2000 and 2003 and also appeared on "The Tracy Morgan Show." He played Sid Shapiro on the FOX series "Bones" and recently guest starred as a manager of an NBA player on the NBC show "Law & Order: Special Victim's Unit."

The rapper also appeared in the comedy film "Tower Heist," which starred Eddie Murphy and Ben Stiller and was released last month. Heavy D played a courthouse guard.

John Legend engaged to Chrissy Teigen

John Legend is getting married.

The Grammy-winning R&B singer and girlfriend Chrissy Teigen, a 26-year-old Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, became engaged during a recent vacation in the Maldives, Legend's spokesperson told OnTheRedCarpet.com on Tuesday, December 27.

News about the engagement came a day before Legend's 33rd birthday and prompted congratulatory messages on the couple's Twitter and Facebook pages.

"Thanks for all the well wishes everybody," Legend Tweeted back.

This will be the first marriage for both him and Teigen, who have been dating since at least 2008. The two have attended many celebrity-packed events together - some happy, such as the 2009 Academy Awards, and some sad, such as the funeral of rapper Heavy D in New York in November.

Last week, Teigen posted photos from their trip to the Maldives, a South Asian archipelago known for its luxury beach resorts, on her website. She and Legend are seen fishing on a boat and the singer is also pictured standing with a cooked fish dish with the bright Indian Ocean behind him.

The couple then flew to Thailand. Teigen, who is of Thai-Norwegian descent, Tweeted that they spent Christmas Eve with her parents and sister and her fiance. They remained in the country on Christmas Day.

Teigen later added: "John has managed to watch every sports game no matter the sport or internet restrictions in any country we've been in."

"Oh, and thanks for helping me win my fantasy league," Legend said.

On Tuesday, the two attended a Muay Thai boxing match in Bangkok. Teigen posted a photo on her Twitter page from the event, which she called "awesome."

Legend is expected to soon return to the United States, as he is scheduled to perform at the Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas on December 31 - New Year's Eve (buy tickets here).

Demi Moore, aka 'MrsKutcher': 'Changing my Twitter name isn't a top priority'

Demi Moore says changing her Twitter username, "MrsKutcher," is not a "top priority right now," weeks after she announced her separation from husband Ashton Kutcher.

The 49-year-old actress said in a statement on November 17 that she had decided to end her six-year marriage to Kutcher, 33. The news came after several reports about his alleged infidelity, which he has not confirmed.

"Changing my twitter name isn't a top priority right now," Moore, who lives in Los Angeles, Tweeted on Wednesday, December 14, at about 1 a.m. Pacific Time. "Sorry it bothers so many of u. should I not tweet until I do? Does it really matter?"

The actress and Kutcher enjoy a large fan following on Twitter. More than 4.3 million people subscribe to Moore's Tweets, while the actor, who goes by the username "Aplusk," has more than 8.7 million followers. Their accounts are updated almost every day with personal and promotional postings, as well as photos, which have in the past often featured the two goofing around.

After Moore announced her plans to end her marriage to Kutcher, her third husband, the actor said in his own statement that he will "forever cherish the time" he spent with her, adding: "Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail."

As of Wednesday, Moore and Kutcher have not filed divorce papers. Spokespeople for the actors had no immediate comment about the matter.

The "Two and a Half Men" actor married Moore in September 2005 after dating her for about two years. The actress was previously married to Bruce Willis, father of her three children, and to singer Freddie Moore.

Rumors that Kutcher allegedly cheated on Moore surfaced online and in tabloid magazine reports in late September. In mid-October, a 22-year-old woman named Sara Leal told Us Weekly in a video interview that she and Kutcher had a one night stand. She said he had told her at the time that he was "separated" and added that her life "has been a mess" ever since the incident.

Kutcher and Moore have not commented about the alleged incident.

However, Kutcher did appear in a video that showed him blasting the media and the way "people can bastardize the truth." He appeared in the clip without his wedding ring.

Kutcher was also the target of a different cheating scandal in 2010. He called a tabloid report about it "fiction."

In early December, Moore was linked romantically to Scott-Vincent Borba, a skincare mogul and former model. He later denied they were dating.

Kutcher has been keeping busy promoting the movie "New Year's Eve," which was released last week and features "Glee" star Lea Michele as his love interest. The two appeared cozy at the film's Los Angeles premiere (see photos).

At a press junket, Michele invited the actor to spend the real New Year's Eve with her and her "big Italian family."

Kutcher said: "I don't know where I'm going to be on New Year's, I haven't sorted it out," Kutcher quipped. "I was going to try to crash a UFO into the Mayan temples, just to see how people would react to that, but I decided that maybe I don't want to work that hard."

Howard Stern joins 'America's Got Talent,' replaces Piers Morgan as judge

Howard Stern, known for his X-rated Sirius XM radio show, will replace Piers Morgan as a judge on NBC reality series "America's Got Talent," following weeks of speculation.

The 57-year-old shock jock made the announcement on his program on Thursday, December 15 and the network also confirmed the news. Auditions for season 7 of the show began in October. The series usually airs its season premieres in the late spring.

"Howard says he'll start shooting in February and actually be traveling the country to do the audition rounds," a message on his radio show's Twitter account said.

Stern said on his show that he plans to be "Piers on steroids."

"This nonsense of Howie and Sharon putting through less than talented people has got to stop," he joked, referring to fellow judges Howie Mandel and Sharon Osbourne. "Under my administration there will be no Frank Sinatra impersonators winning for the year. If people think I'm the crazy man, I am not. I am the voice of reason."

NBC's president of Alternative and Late Night Programming, Paul Telegdy, said Stern's "larger-than-life personality will bring a thrilling new dynamic to 'America's Got Talent' starting this summer" and called him "a proven innovator."

The watchdog group the Parents Television Council was not as pleased with the casting news, which it called an "act of desperation" for NBC.

"Not coincidentally, in just over three weeks the network will be standing before the United States Supreme Court arguing for the right to use the F-word at any time of the day, even in front of children," PTC president Tim Winter told OnTheRedCarpet.com in a statement.

"The once-proud broadcast network has lost its way and has made it clear it holds no concern whatsoever for children and families," he added. "It also risks losing millions in advertising dollars. Whatever principles NBC had in the past, when the network was successful, have clearly gone out the window."

Production of the live broadcast of "America's Got Talent" will relocate from Los Angeles to New York, where he lives and works, the Associated Press said.

Morgan had in November that he was leaving the show to focus on his CNN talk series. The British former newspaper editor was known as the most acerbic judge on "America's Got Talent." Stern has often said on his show about how much he enjoys watching talent contest programs, especially "American Idol."

The shock jock, who is one of the best-paid radio personalities and who calls himself the "King of all Media," was rumored to be in talks to join "America's Got Talent" for weeks but until now had said on his show, when asked about it, that he had nothing to report. He has not disclosed his salary, adding on Thursday that he did not accept the job for the money.

A previous 5-year agreement Stern once had with Sirius XM is said to have been worth $500 million. Last year, Stern signed a new 5-year deal with the company, which agreed to continue to broadcast his show and other programs on his Howard 100 and Howard 101 channels until the end of 2015.

Stern's show features longtime sidekick Robin Quivers and regular commentators Baba Booey and Bubba the Love Sponge. It is known for its explicit content, swearing and interviews with major international celebrities as well as porn stars.

His new job on "America's Got Talent" also marks Stern's return to NBC since he was fired from its radio station WNBC in 1985. The network deemed his content, which was similar to that of his current show, to be indecent and slammed him for using expletives on the air, which cost them about $2.5 million in Federal Communications Commission fines. He moved his show to satellite radio in 2005.

Moments from his career and beef with the FCC and his then-boss were showcased in the 1997 comedy film "Private Parts".

K. Kardashian regrets

If there's someone who loves publicity more than anyone in the world, it's surely 31-year-old Kim Kardashian. But the multi-millionaire reality star revealed to Allure last year that she does have some regrets over the nude spread she shot in 2007 ... but not for the reasons one might expect. "After the fact, I said, 'I wish I hadn't done Playboy then' because I wasn't in the best shape of my life... I lost about 15 pounds, and I feel so proud. I look back and say, 'Oh, my God, I was so heavy then.'"

.......Paris Jackson on Her Father Michael

Her father, Michael, is the legendary pop icon. Paris Jackson talked to Ellen about what life has been like for her and her family in the past few months. The full interview airs Thursday on Ellen.

Ellen: So you're doing a movie. You're going to be in a movie. Is this something you've known you wanted to do for a while?

Paris: Yeah, I love acting.

Ellen: You love acting? How early on did you know you wanted to act?

Paris: When I was really little. My dad was in the move "Moonwalker," and I knew he could sing really well but I didn't know he could act. I saw that and I said, wow, I want to be just like him.

Ellen: How old were you then?

Paris: I was little. I was younger then Blanket.

Ellen: Really, Did you tell him? Did you tell your Dad that you wanted to act?

Paris: Yeah, we would do improv together. He would give us little scenarios. He would say, 'Okay, in this scene you're going to cry'… and I'd cry on the spot.

Ellen: You could cry on the spot?

Paris: Yes.

Ellen: That's impressive. Then you got way with all kinds of things. Then he didn't know if you were really crying or if you were just acting.

Paris: Apparently, I was "faking" it a lot of the time.

Paris on a 'Chance to Be Normal'

Ellen: How are you enjoying school?

Paris: I love it. It's definitely a different experience.

Ellen: …Do they treat you differently? Do you feel like you have a very regular childhood?

Paris: I do have a regular childhood. I mean, I'm treated the same. When I came to Buckley [her school] they didn't know who I was. I was like, yes, I have a chance to be normal.

Ellen: They didn't know who you were because you used to wear masks all the time. When you would wear the masks, do you remember thinking, because obviously your dad did that to protect you so nobody would know who you are and you could do out and have a regular life… Do you remember wearing a mask and going, 'this is kind of weird'?

Paris: Yeah, I'm like, this is stupid, why am I wearing a mask? But I kind of realized the older I got, he only tried to protect us and he'd explain that to us, too.

Memorable Moments with Michael

Ellen: The most memorable thing that your Dad said to you was…

Paris: He said, 'If I die tomorrow, always remember what I told you.' I took his advice and I remembered everything he told me.

'Khloe & Lamar' to film couple's move to Dallas

The second season of Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom's show "Khloe & Lamar" will cover the couple's big move from Los Angeles to Dallas, Texas.

The move is part of Odom's recent trade from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks. The second season of the show will premiere on February 19 and will capture all the drama behind the move, according a statement from E!.

The season will also focus on the tension in the couple's relationship because Kardashian's "overprotective nature" and Lamar's relationships with Rob Kardashian and his own estranged father.

On Monday, Kardhasian said she was "looking forward" to moving to Dallas. "I've heard nothing but great things about Dallas and the Mavs. Can't wait to join my hubby there and get to know the city and all the wonderful people there," she told E! News.

In a series of Tweets on December 11, Kardashian initially had a less rosy outlook. "We are all sad but positive energy gets you farther then negative," Khloe Tweeted to a fan on Saturday. She later added in another Tweet, "I am blessed and happy anywhere as long as I am with my family! God is great!! Blessed beyond words! I love ALL of my dolls!"

Meanwhile, the Dallas Mavericks seem ready for Odom to make himself at home at the stadium. The official Twitter account for the team Tweeted a photo of Odom's new locker to Kardashian.

"Need some candy in there," Kardashian replied.

The team's head coach, Rick Carlisle also appeared excited about the new addition to the team, even if reality cameras will be following behind.

"I will say this: Khloe's my favorite Kardashian. She's the coolest," Carlisle told the Dallas Morning News on December 11. News of Odom's trade initially broke on December 11 and came after a botched trade earlier in the week that almost had Odom packing up to New Orleans.

Odom has kept quiet on his Twitter page since talking to fans about the proposed New Orleans trade on December 8.

Kardashian married the former Los Angeles Lakers basketball player in September 2009. The couple appears on "Keeping up with the Kardashians" and the spin-off, "Khloe & Lamar." Odom has been with the Lakers since 2004. Before that he played for the Miami Heat for a season and started out his career with the Los Angeles Clippers.

The reality star previously laughed off reports that she and perhaps her reality franchise was responsible for getting Odom traded. "I am curious as to how I am the cause for any trade? LOL Some people just say anything behind their computer screens," She wrote on December 11.

Lady Gaga nude sketch by Tony Bennett to be auctioned off for charity

Lady Gaga was not kidding when she told viewers of her ABC Thanksgiving special that she posed nude for singer Tony Bennett so he could sketch her and now one lucky fan might be able to nab the work of art.

The sketch of Lady Gaga is part of an auction of artwork from Vanity Fair that includes items singed by Gaga as well as photographer Annie Leibovitz.

One of Bennett's nude pictures of Lady Gaga is also set to appear in the January 2012 issue of Vanity Fair magazine, at the suggestion of famed celebrity photographer Leibovitz.

"Annie Leibovitz wanted me to be naked while Tony sketched me," Lady Gaga told ABC news personality Katie Couric on the show. "So, true to form, as me, I'm always giving my all to my work, I walked in and said, 'Well, Tony, here we are' and he started laughing and I dropped my robe and I got into my position. It was very, very nerve-wracking. I felt a little bit ... I felt shy. It's Tony Bennett, why am I naked?'"

In a photo of the sketch above, Lady Gaga is seen from the side, lying on her stomach and propping herself up by her elbows.

Fans can bid on the sketch and other items at eBay.com/celebrity. Bidding began on Monday, December 12 at 8 a.m. PST and ends on December 19 at 8 a.m. PST. The sketch, which measures 18 inches wide and 24 inches tall, is currently up for bid for $5,000.

Other items included in the auction are accessories worn by Lady Gaga for her Vanity Fair shoot for the 2012 issue, an original print of the January 2012 issue featuring Lady Gaga, a first edition copy of Lady Gaga's photography book with Terry Richardson titled "LADY GAGA x TERRY RICHARDSON" and a personalized autographed copy of the book "Tony Bennett in the Studio."

Proceeds from the auction items will benefit Exploring the Arts and Lady Gaga's Born This Way Foundation. The foundation officially launches next year with the help of the MacArthur Foundation and Harvard University.

It is named after both her second album and debut single off the record and will deal with "issues like self-confidence, well-being, anti-bullying, mentoring and career development." The Grammy Award-winning singer will be a director of the foundation along with her mother, Cynthia Germanotta.

"Together we hope to establish a standard of Bravery and Kindness, as well as a community worldwide that protects and nurtures others in the face of bullying and abandonment," Gaga said in a statement.

Bennett and Lady Gaga teamed up for the first time ealier this year. The 85-year-old crooner's most recent album "Duets II" featured a duet with 25-year-old Gaga for the song "The Lady Is a Tramp."

Fantasia Barrino of 'American Idol' welcomes baby boy

Former "American Idol" winner Fantasia Barrino, recently welcomed her second child.

The 27-year-old R&B singer, who in 2004 became the only single mother to win the FOX singing contest series, gave birth to a baby boy named Dallas Xavier on Tuesday, December 13, at a hospital in her native North Carolina, People magazine reported.

"I feel so blessed that my son Dallas Xavier was born healthy and is a wonderful new addition to our family," she told the magazine. "I thank all my fans for their well wishes and continued support."

Barrino also has a 10-year-old daughter, Zion. She announced her second pregnancy during a charity concert in Florida in July and revealed on "The Wendy Williams Show" in October that the child was a boy.

Barrino has not revealed the name of her new baby's father. She was last linked to a man named Antwaun Cook. His ex-wife, Paula Cook, claimed in court last year that Barrino had had an affair with her husband in August 2009 and that it had spurred the couple's divorce. Barrino acknowledged the relationship but said that the man had told her he was separated at the time.

When asked if she was still with Cook, Barrino told Williams: "I'm not going to talk about that."

Barrino has in the past said that the scandal helped spur her to attempt suicide in August 2010. She was rushed to the hospital after overdosing on sleep medication and aspirin.

"I think I was just overloaded with everything, with carrying six years of so much," Barrino said on ABC program "Good Morning America" at the time. "I always take a licking and keep on ticking. It just became heavy for me to the point that I just wanted to be away from the noise. The first little piece of drama that they can find, it blew up so much and I just began to get tired of taking so many licks."

Barrino was a 19-year-old impoverished single mother when she auditioned for the third season of "American Idol," which aired in 2004. Her daughter, Zion, was 2 at the time.

Barrino, a North Carolina native, always wanted to become a singer and sang in her church's choir as a child. She dropped out of school when she was in the ninth grade and revealed in her 2005 memoir, "Life Is Not A Fairy Tale," that she still could not read well as an adult.

She wowed judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson on "American Idol" consistently with her performances. But Barrino was criticized by viewers who felt her upbringing, education and status as a single mother made her a bad role model.

Since appearing on "American Idol," Fantasia has released three albums and won a Grammy in February for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance for her single, "Bittersweet," although she opted not to attend the Grammy Awards ceremony. She performed at the 2011 Essence Music Festival in New Orleans.

Barrino also began an acting career after her "American Idol" victory. She appeared in the musical "The Color Purple" on Broadway and played herself in a 2006 Lifetime television movie that is based on her memoir. In 2010, she appeared in a VH1 reality show, "Fantasia For Real."

Jennifer Lopez Owns Britney And Beyonce Looks In ‘T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever)’ Video

Apparently, the flesh-toned body suit Jennifer Lopez wore during her performance at the American Music Awards last month was a hit. The 42-year-old mother of toddler twins looks incredible suited up in a similar one piece, this one black and lace, for will.i.am's new video, "T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever)," for which she sings the chorus.
More Jennifer Lopez music videos

Despite will.i.am's spectacular special effects in the clip, the recently separated superstar rumored to be dating a much younger man steals the limelight. The Black Eyed Peas frontman catapults himself from a speeding bike, stands atop of a racing train, and flies a spaceship, but viewers will walk away remembering J. Lo.

In another sequence, Lopez flaunts stilettos, thigh-high stockings and a leotard.

These looks were first popularized by then twenty-something pop stars Britney Spears and Beyonce. Britney was strategically covered with diamonds in her "Toxic" video, and wore a two-piece nude bodysuit for the 2000 VMAs. The leotards Beyonce wore for her "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)" video were just as popular as the anthemic song. But time will tell whether the ladies will be able to don the styles in 10 years when they are J. Lo's age.

The legendary Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger, who appears in the third verse of the song and video, following J. Lo, gets lost in the mix. Jagger, the subject of Maroon 5's "Moves Like Jagger," lives up this his reputation, but here J. Lo is simply too tough an act to follow.

will.i.am"T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever)" is the first single from will.i.am's forthcoming solo album, "#willpower," due out in 2012.

Lea Michele invites Ashton Kutcher home for New Year's Eve

Lea Michele invited her "New Year's Eve" co-star Ashton Kutcher home for the holidays, but apparently the "Two and a Half Men" actor has other plans.

"What are you going to do for New Year's?" Michele asked her co-star, in an interview provided by Warner Bros. Pictures. "Why don't you come celebrate with my big Italian family and me? They would die."

Kutcher had other plans to celebrate 2012, which according to the Mayan calendar, marks the end of the world.

"I don't know where I'm going to be on New Year's, I haven't sorted it out," Kutcher quipped. "I was going to try to crash a UFO into the Mayan temples, just to see how people would react to that, but I decided that maybe I don't want to work that hard."

Michele, best known for her role as diva-like student Rachel Berry on the musical comedy series "Glee," portrays Jon Bon Jovi's backup singer in "New Year's Eve." Hijinks ensue when she gets stuck in an elevator with Kutcher's cynical character.

The co-stars appear to get along as well off-camera as they do on the big screen and Kutcher joked that he already has a head start on his New Year's resolutions.

"I'm gonna do my resolution in December this year," Kutcher explained. "I'm resoluting for December so that when I come to January, and everybody else is having to go through the grind, I'm already ahead of it, I've already done it. It's like taking the PSATs. I'm just trying to stay ahead of the curve. There is a curve."

When asked why people hold so much weight in New Year's Eve, Michele seemed to embrace the optimism of the holiday.

"I think people like having the opportunity to feel like they have a second chance -- that they can do things over and start fresh," Michelle said. "Whether or not they actually do, it's just a way to begin the year and try."

Michele, 25, and the 33-year-old actor, former star of MTV's "Punk'd" who replaced Charlie Sheen on the CBS sitcom "Two and a Half Men" earlier this year, appeared cozy at the recent Los Angeles premiere of the romantic comedy movie (see photos).

"New Year's Eve" boasts a star-packed cast that includes the likes of Jessica Biel, Halle Berry, Sarah Jessica Parker, Josh Duhamel, Alyssa Milano, SofĂa Vergara, Seth Meyers and Robert De Niro.

"New Year's Eve" is directed by "Valentine's Day" director Garry Marshall and the scripts of both films were penned or co-written by Katherine Fugate. "New Year's Eve" also pairs up other well-known stars. Bon Jovi plays the ex-boyfriend of Katherine Heigl, while Zac Efron portrays the love interest of his former "Hairspray" co-star Michelle Pfeiffer.

Alec Baldwin pokes fun at American Airlines incident on 'Saturday Night Live' -

Alec Baldwin got his apology from American Airlines on Saturday...sort of.

The actor returned to the "Saturday Night Live" stage on December 10 to appear during the "Weekend Update" skit dressed as an American Airlines pilot named Steve Rogers who wanted to apologize to Baldwin for kicking him off a recent flight.

Baldwin was removed from an American Airlines flight departing from Los Angeles to New York City on December 6 for refusing to turn off his cell phone. The actor claimed in a Tweet from his official Twitter account that he was "reamed" by a flight attendant for playing the scrabble-like mobile game "Words With Friends."

"It was awful Seth, which is why it was very important for me to come here tonight on behalf of everyone at American Airlines and issue an apology to Mr. Alec Baldwin," Baldwin, said as the flight's captain, who apparently had a Southern accent.

"Alec, are you sure this is the right way to handle this," Seth Meyers asked the actor.

"Yeah, keep going," Baldwin replied in his normal voice.

The actor then slipped back into the pilot's accent and said, "Yes, Mr. Baldwin is an American treasure and I am ashamed at the way he was treated. I mean, what harm would it do to let him keep playing his game?"

"Not just any game, mind you, but a word game for smart people," Baldwin added.

On December 7, American Airlines responded to the actor's allegations about the incident in a statement saying that "the passenger" violated regulations and was "extremely rude."

"When the door is closed for departure and the seat belt light is turned on, all cell phones and electronic devices must be turned off for taxi-out and take-off," the airline statement read. "This passenger declined to turn off his cell phone when asked to do so at the appropriate time."

Baldwin also said in a blog post put out by The Huffington Post that he "would like to apologize to the other passengers onboard the flight," adding: "It was never my intention to inconvenience anyone with my "issue" with a certain flight attendant."

Following the incident, Baldwin deactivated his Twitter account, asking fans to follow him at a later date.

Katy Perry was the host of the December 10 episode, that Baldwin appeared in. Next week, former cast member Jimmy Fallon returns to the "Saturday Night Live" stage to host the December 17 episode with musical guest Michael Buble.

Check out Baldwin's skit below.

Khloe Kardashian Tweets about Lamar Odom's trade to Dallas Mavericks

Khloe Kardashian spoke to her fans on Twitter about a big change coming to her life. After he was nearly traded to the New Orleans Hornets on Thursday, news broke on Saturday that Kardashian's Los Angeles Laker husband, Lamar Odom, was traded to the Dallas Mavericks, according to OnTheRedCarpet.com's parent company, KABC Television.

"We are all sad but positive energy gets you farther then negative," Khloe Tweeted to a fan on Saturday. She later added in another Tweet, "I am blessed and happy anywhere as long as I am with my family! God is great!! Blessed beyond words! I love ALL of my dolls!"

Odom has kept quiet on his Twitter page since talking to fans about the proposed New Orleans trade on December 8.

Kardashian told another fan in a Tweet on Saturday, "I am excited :) I know this is for a reason."

Khloe Kardashian had previously assured her followers that she'd follow her husband to whatever city he was traded to.

"I can survive anywhere," Kardashian continued. "As long as I'm with Lam, I'm good."

The reality star also laughed off reports that she and perhaps her reality franchise was responsible for getting Odom traded. "I am curious as to how I am the cause for any trade? LOL Some people just say anything behind their computer screens," She wrote on Saturday.

Jessica Simpson dishes on emotional pregnancy outbursts and new cravings

Jessica Simpson is experiencing a lot of crying moments with her new pregnancy.

The singer and fashion mogul reportedly dished to Rachael Ray on an episode of "The Rachel Ray Show" set to air on December 12 that she has had an emotional pregnancy and a new set of cravings.

"That's the one thing about pregnancy -- I'll cry at the drop of a hat," Simpson told Ray, according to Us Weekly. "Even a great souffle would make me cry."

"I felt [the baby] move the other day for the first time and I had big crocodile tears," she said. "It was the coolest thing ever. It did a flip or something. I was like, 'There it went. It's there. It's really there.'"

Simpson confirmed on October 31 that she and fiancé Eric Johnson are expecting their first child. Simpson and Johnson began dating in May 2010 and announced the following November, after he finalized his divorce from his first wife, that they are engaged. No wedding date has been announced.

While in November Simpson said her pregnancy caused her to crave fruits like cantaloupe, she recently told Ray that she's also been craving peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

"This week it's peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, toasted," she said. "And then, I'll put some salt on my hand like I'm taking a tequila shot and then take a bite of the sandwich."

Simpson has in recent years focused on her fashion endeavors. Her collections of apparel, perfume and other products, which are marketed to young women, have raked in almost $1 billion in sales.

The singer launched her own line of diamond jewelry with Zales and also teamed up with celebrity aesthetician Nerida Joy to launch BeautyMint, an online portal that sells anti-aging skincare.

She is also lending her fashion business sense to up-and-coming designers on the NBC reality series "Fashion Star" as a mentor.

Elle MacPherson will host the series. NBC promises the show will be a "true spectacle" taped in front of a studio audience and featuring music, dancers and models along with weekly challenges for the contestants. The show will premiere on NBC on March 13 at 9 p.m.

Pharrell Williams and Hans Zimmer to serve as musical consultants for 2012 Oscars

Rapper and music producer Pharrell Williams and film score composer Hans Zimmer are teaming up for the 2012 Oscars.

The two will serve as music consultants for the 84th Academy Awards telecast, producers Brian Grazer and Don Mischer announced on December 8. This will be the first time either composer has worked on the Oscar show.

"Hans is one of the most accomplished and creative film composers of our time, and Pharrell is a phenomenal songwriter with an amazing list of credits," Grazer and Mischer said in a statement. "This is an exciting and prestigious collaboration that promises to take the audience on a musical journey."

"I am honored to work with my mentor and teacher, Hans Zimmer and I have wanted to collaborate with Brian Grazer on something for years," Williams said. "I cannot believe I will be joining them and their teams on the most prestigious show of the year, the Academy Awards."

Williams is known as part of the production duo The Neptunes with Chad Hugo. The duo has produced hit songs like "Hot in Herre" by Nelly, "Beautiful" and "Drop It Like It's Hot" with Snoop Dogg, and "Milkshake" by Kelis. Together the two have won three Grammy Awards for their work.

Williams is also a vocalist and drummer of the hip-hop band N.E.R.D with Hugo and Shay Haley and released a solo album in 2006 called "In My Mind." He wrote the original song score for "Despicable Me."

Zimmer won an Oscar in 1994 for Original Score for "The Lion King" and has received eight additional nominations for Original Score. Other credits include "Rain Man," "Gladiator," "The Da Vinci Code," "The Dark Knight," "Sherlock Holmes" and "Inception."

In October, Billy Crystal was named host of the 84th Academy Awards telecast after Eddie Murphy stepped down due to producer Brett Ratner's resignation. Brain Grazer signed on to produce on October 9 and Crystal was named host shortly after.

The awards ceremony will air on Sunday, February 26, 2012 on ABC, OnTheRedCarpet.com's parent company. It will be Murphy's first time hosting the awards ceremony.

Ice Cube shows off love for Los Angeles architecture and Eames - See video

Did you know that before Ice Cube started off in the gangsta rap group N.W.A. he was a student of architectural drafting?

The 42-year-old rapper recently revealed he is a huge fan of Los Angeles architecture and Charles and Ray Eames in a promotional video for "Pacific Standard Time: Art in L.A. 1945-1980," a collection of exhibitions on the Southern California art scene post World War II organized by the Getty Institute.

In the video, which can be seen below, the rapper and actor shows off his knowledge and affection for Los Angeles, its freeway and particularly the Eames House in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood in Los Angeles, California.

"A lot of people think L.A. is just eyesore after eyesore. Full of mini malls, palm trees and billboards," Ice Cube said in the clip. "So what? They don't know the L.A. I know. The good, the bad and the ugly about L.A."

The rapper then lists off architectural landmarks in the city. As for the bad, Ice Cube said, "The traffic. Each freeway has its own personality. The 405, bougie traffic. The 110, that's gangsta traffic right there." He adds, "You gotta know the difference."

At the Eames house, Ice Cube marvels at the fact that the house's frame was built in two days and included green elements. "In a world full of McMansions where the structure takes up all the land, the Eames made structure and nature one," he said. "This is going green 1949-style, bitch. Believe dat."

In an interview with the New York Times the rapper said he was happy to show off his home city.

"What was appealing was showing off Los Angeles to people who think they know what Los Angeles is all about," Ice Cube told the newspaper. "Everybody who comes here thinks they got the place figured out, but you can never get this place figured out," he said. "This place is like 'The Wizard of Oz.'"

Ice Cube studied architectural drafting at a trade school in Arizona for a year in 1988 and earned a certificate. Though the rapper admits "I don't think I picked up a T-square since," he still has a love for the skills he learned from the experience.

"What I learned from architectural drafting is that everything has to have a plan to work. You just can't wing it. I can't get all the materials I need for a house and just start building," he said. "Whether it's a career, family, life -- you have to plan it out."

Ice Cube started his rap career in the late 80s with Dr. Dre, Arabian Prince, DJ Yella, MC Ren and Eazy-E in the group N.W.A. He kicked off his solo career in 1989. Ice Cube released his ninth studio album "I Am the West" in 2010. In November, he Tweeted that he had completed 7 songs on a new album he was recording.

The rapper began acting in 1992 with a role in "Boyz N The Hood." He also went on to star in "Friday," "XXX: State of the Union," "Barbershop," and "Are We There Yet?"

Check out Ice Cube's video below.

Ryan Seacrest to replace Matt Lauer on NBC's 'Today' show?

Ryan Seacrest might be moving to an earlier shift on a new network.

The host and producer reportedly had meetings with NBC executives earlier this week to discuss the possibility of joining "The Today Show" and replacing co-host Matt Lauer, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The trade paper reports that the meetings are part of continuing discussions with NBC about joining the show, although the NBC and Seacrest have not commented on the reports.

NBC is part of NBCUniversal owned by Comcast, which also owns the E! Network, where Seacrest serves as a news host and red carpet correspondent. His production company also produces the network's "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" and its spin-offs.

In addition to his duties over on E!, Seacrest has also been hosting "American Idol" since its debut in 2002 and has his own morning radio show.

Lauer has been a co-host of "The Today Show" since 1997 and his contract with the program ends in 2012, according to the industry paper. Earlier this year Meredith Viera left the program and Ann Curry took over in June.

In April, Seacrest was ranked No. 1 on the Reality Power List and he is set to appear in the upcoming film "New Year's Eve" which debuts on December 9.

Lindsay Lohan's Playboy cover leaked to internet

Lindsay Lohan is set to grace the January/February cover of Playboy magazine and the cover has hit the internet a week before the scheduled reveal.

The cover, which features the actress on the cover, straddling a red Playboy bunny logo chair wearing nothing but black heels, was posted on several websites (see here).

The issue is due out later this month and Lohan was scheduled to unveil the cover during an episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" which will air on December 15th.

"Lindsay has agreed to do one media interview during the on-sale period of her issue, and has chosen 'Ellen,'" a Playboy spokesperson told OnTheRedCarpet.com on December 7. "The interview will air on Thursday, December 15. Lindsay will not be doing any additional interviews to promote her pictorial."

It was announced in October that Lohan would pose for the magazine, which TMZ reported would earn the troubled star almost $1 million.

"Lindsay has completed a successful photo shoot for Playboy magazine and will be on the cover of the January/February issue, which hits newsstands in late December," the actress' spokesperson told OnTheRedCarpet.com in November. "The pictorial is absolutely fantastic and very tasteful, and will be accompanied by an interview that will let readers see another side of Lindsay."

Playboy founder Hugh Hefner confirmed that the shoot was nude, but insisted that the pictorial was "very classy."

"It's a classic tribute inspired by the original Tom Kelley nude pictorial of Marilyn Monroe, a portion of which was the original playmate in the very first issue of Playboy," Hefner told The Insider in November.

Earlier this year, Lohan was ordered to complete 480 hours of community service ata woman's shelter and morgue after a judge ruled the actress violated her 2007 probation with a misdemeanor theft charge.

According to TMZ, Lohan is well ahead of schedule with her morgue obligation and has already completed 10 of her 12 court-ordered shifts. She also has a good reputation at the morgue, a source told the website she is, "polite, hard-working and never complains about the work."

The actress, a former child star known for films such as "The Parent Trap," "Freaky Friday" and "Mean Girls," is next scheduled to appear in court on December 14.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez not engaged, rep says

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber sparked rumors of an engagement when Gomez was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her engagement finger on Wednesday.

Gomez's rep denied that Bieber had proposed to his 19-year-old girlfriend, telling Us Weekly, "She is not engaged."

The couple is currently in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for the wedding of costume designer Shannon Larossi, who she met on the set of "Wizards of Waverly Place." According to TMZ, Gomez is a bridesmaid in the wedding party and plans to sing for the occasion.

The couple has been romantically linked since December 2010, but didn't confirm a relationship until May. Some of Bieber's fans, most of which are female, have referenced Gomez in threatening messages on Twitter and other social networking websites.

The young pop stars might not be ready to tie the knot just yet, but Bieber, 17, told Women's Wear Daily magazine that he would like to be married by the time he is 25-years-old.

"Well, by 25 or 26, I want to see myself, like, married or start looking for a family," Bieber told the trade magazine. "I want to be a young dad. I want to be able to have done what I wanted to do -- to be successful, to do a movie or whatever. But if the time is right, I definitely want to be married by 25. One thing -- I'm not looking to get married now."

Kid Rock Anthem to be Romney's campaign theme song

Kid Rock said Wednesday he had agreed to let fellow Michigan native Mitt Romney use his song "Born Free" as his presidential campaign theme song.

In a statement posted on his website, Kid Rock — whose real name is Bob Ritchie — said he approved the use, but didn't endorse the former Massachusetts governor.

Kid Rock has previously supported Republicans.

"He and anyone else who wants to use my song do not need my permission. I said he could use it and I would say the same for any other candidate. I have to have a little faith that every candidate feels like he or she can help this country. Without faith, we got nothing. I make music to have it be heard. Merry Christmas folks! Rock on," he said.

He added: "Any candidate who makes 'So Hott' their theme song has a good chance of getting my vote."

Candidates have ended up in hot water for using popular songs as part of their campaigns. Rocker Tom Petty sent Rep. Michele Bachmann , R-Minn., a letter in June asking her to stop using his "American Girl."

Romney's wife, Ann , told Parade magazine recently her husband has the Beatles , Rolling Stones , Neil Diamond and Roy Orbison on his iPod.

The son of former Michigan Gov. George Romney is quite a prankster, too, she said, recounting one of the silliest things he pulled on her when they were dating in the 1960s.

"In Michigan, there's this huge highway, Woodward Avenue, with four lanes in one direction and four lanes in this huge wide divide. He set up a table, like it was an evening event, and invited me to sit down and come to it. I mean, it was one of those things where we were just starting to get to know each other and it so took me by surprise and it was so completely off beat," Ann Romney said. "That was his way of just doing cute things for me that were a little zany."

As cute as that one was, "he stopped pulling them on me so much," she laughed.

Kim Kardashian's Ill-timed Love Collection Fragrance Set for Sale at Macy's

You may be sick of hearing about Kim Kardashian's sham of a marriage, but her latest fragrance, Love, returns to the market with a hefty dose of irony. The wedding-inspired scent, with notes of jasmine, pink freesia, mimosa, tuberose, musk, and sandalwood, had an extremely limited launch in August as the reality star prepared for her nuptials to NBA player Kris Humphries.

"I thought it would be fun to create a special fragrance that represents this special time in my life," Kardashian wrote on her blog on Aug. 3. "We've only produced 1000 bottles… one for me to wear on my wedding day, 200 for my bridal shower, and 799 for you guys! I really hope you guys love it as much as I do. I've had such a positive response to my previous two fragrances and this one means so much to be because of what it stands for… the enduring beauty of building a life with your other half and watching your love grow, each and every day."

Kardashian must have meant 72 days, because that's exactly how long the couple was married before calling it quits. Who would have thought that her limited-edition wedding fragrance would outlast the marriage itself?!

The original Love perfume sold for $100 and came in a platinum-finish jewel-encrusted bottle numbered and signed by Kardashian. But Macy's has re-released Love along with Kardashian's two other fragrances in the $55 Love Collection Gift Set for the holidays. It's not available online, but kardashianfragrance.com has a store locator. We're assuming the set was designed prior to Kardashian's split. But no matter! Kardashian is still eager to cash in on her wedding, taking to her blog to promote the scent.

"Just wanted to let you know that my new holiday fragrance gift set, Kim Kardashian Love Collection, is out this week at select Macy's stores and online!!" she wrote on her blog on Nov. 27. "It features all three of my fragrances, my signature scent, Gold and Love."

Perhaps the Love Collection isn't flying off shelves the way she'd hoped. Kardashian reminded her fans again on Dec. 3 that the holiday set would make a great Christmas gift, but some commenters on her blog weren't buying into it. "I'm sorry I just don't see how any of you followers think Kim is an inspiration," writes yolo123. "Do you know how she got famous?? Do you think divorcing someone is inspiring? I just dont [sic] get it." Another blogger named jennypoo writes, "No one buy this!...This is just another lame excuse to try to steal money from American people!" We have to side with these bloggers. Kardashian has copied handbag and dress designs, and stamped her name on everything from Sketchers to OPI nail polish. Enough!

Surely Kim Kardashian has some unconditional fans, but is the rest of the world tired of her trying to cash in on everything humanly possible? Can she successfully make money on this ill-timed, hypocritical fragrance? Maybe, maybe not. But her next endeavor is probably right around the corner.
