Treating his leading lady right, Tom Cruise takes Katie Holmes out for a yummy dinner date at ABC Kitchen in New York City on her 32nd birthday, December 18. Katie hasn't been spotted doing much besides hitting the gym lately, so it's refreshing to see her taking a night off and almost cracking a smile while leaving the restaurant. Katie put her polished look together with a pair of ankle length skinny trousers (like Genetic Denim's Aztek Skinny Pant in Black) topped with a chic black and leather trench coat (stay cozy in True Grit's Long Coat in Black), adding a sassy element with her sheer speckled top revealing her bra (try Hard Tail's Stripe Washed Tank in Heather/Gold). This isn't the first time Katie has put her lingerie on display – what do you think of her semi-provocative style? Kat completed her look with demure pointy toe pumps and an espresso textured tote, which I have to wish was black (opt for Linea Pelle's Perry Woven Hobo in Black). What are your thoughts on her handbag choice? For once I don't think this is a bad look for her, she's got the proportions right and seems to be striding confidently while holding hands with her hubby. Over the years some wacky rumors have come out about the life of TomKat behind doors, but the latest allegations are too good to be true. A "source" close to the couple claims that while prepping to film the latest installment of Mission: Impossible, Katie's hubby has become so obsessed with maintaining a youthful appearance that he's dipping into her cosmetics drawer to hide his insecurities: "Tom is in major mid-life crisis mode. He’s freaking out over the new lines on his face, the gray hairs on his head and on his face when he shaves. He’s started applying Katie’s high-priced face creams, cleansers and even her makeup – and he loves the results!" Come on – sounds like this "source" a salesperson for the cosmetics Tom supposedly wears! What do you make of this rumor?
