David Schwimmer is about to expand his circle of friends – the actor is expecting a baby!
A rep for the 44-year-old star confirms the happy news to CNN: "Actor/director David Schwimmer and his wife, photographer Zoe Buckman are excited to be expecting their first child and couldn't be more thrilled," his spokesperson said in a statement. "The couple were married in June 2010.”
While the artist formerly known as Ross may be excited about tackling the role of fatherhood, he's been a bit down about his upcoming project "Trust."
The Schwimmer-directed film, which stars Clive Owen and Catherine Keener and tells the story of a young girl who is attacked by an online predator, was slapped with an R rating for "disturbing material involving the rape of a teen, language, sexual content, and some violence," reports Deadline.com.
Though Schwimmer had appealed to the ratings board for a PG-13 in the hopes that the cautionary tale would reach more teens, his request was denied. Schwimmer told Deadline he did not want to make any cuts to the film, but it seems he'll have to if he wants that softer rating.
