Stepping out for a very green affair, Sophia Bush attends Global Green USA's 11th Annual Sustainable Design Awards with beau Austin Nichols in New York City on December 6. Sophia stood out on the red carpet in a fitted Jill Stuart long sleeve graphic boa print mini (check out Diane von Furstenberg's Jeanne Wrap Dress in Black/Peach or Desigual's Desigual Printed Dress in Black/White to nab the high contrast look) with grey heels (like Loeffler Randall's Wide Heel Pump in Graphite) and a pretty turquoise cocktail ring (like Femme Metale Jewelry's Eva Turquoise Ring in Turquoise). What do you think of Sophia's red carpet style? I would have liked to see her do something more exciting with her hair, but I do like the stark print of the dress. She can definitely pull it off with finesse! S and her long time boyfriend have lent their voices to raise awareness for important causes in the past, and in NYC this week they stopped by PIX11 Morning News to spread the word about a compilation CD they're promoting titled Gasoline Rainbows, with 100% of proceeds benefiting victims of the Gulf oil spill. In her interview the eco-friendly One Tree Hill starlet shared her thoughts on going green: “If there’s anything we need to learn from what happened in the Gulf it’s that our reliance on dirty energy is risking not only human beings, but every living being on the planet."
