The contestant pool at "American Idol" became a little smaller after one contestant was eliminated on Thursday during the third results show of the 10th season. Curious to find out who got the boot? Check out the recap below to find out who was sent packing and tell us who you think should win the competition. Warning: Spoiler alert!
This week Karen Rodriguez saw a return to the bottom three along with Haley Reinhart and Naima Adedapo. However, Rodriguez was not saved by fan votes and sent home.
"I know it's about the votes, but I've done my best to represent for everybody, for my family, for everyone," the 21-year-old singer said.
During Wednesday's performance show, Rodriguez sang a song from the year of her birth, the 1989 hit "Love Will Lead You Back" by Taylor Dayne.
Rodriguez, who performed a bi-lingual version of that song, chose to sing her bi-lingual version of "Hero" in hopes of being saved at the last minute by the judges, but it didn't work.
"This is not unanimous. I must say, we talked it over quite a bit, but the judges are not going to use the save tonight," Randy Jackson told Rodriguez.
The singer was sent packing to "American Idol" season seven winner David Cook's cover of the 1985 hit "Don't You (Forget About Me)" originally by Simple Minds. Cook's cover will be used as the official farewell song for season 10.
The live results show featured performances by Season nine champion Lee DeWyze and the Black Eyed Peas. Dwyze performed his new single "Beautiful Like You." The Black Eyed Peas performed "Just Can't Get Enough," which they dedicated to Japan.
The 11 finalists that remain with Adedapo and Reinhart include Lauren Alaina, James Durbin, Stefano Langone, Jacob Lusk, Scotty McCreery, Paul McDonald, Thia Megia, Casey Abrams and Pia Toscano.
