Jennifer Lopez named People magazine's Most Beautiful

Jennifer Lopez, 41, has been named People magazine's Most Beautiful person of 2011, for the tabloids annual Most Beautiful double issue, which hits newstands on Friday. "Rarely am I left speechless, but I feel honored," Lopez said of the accolade. "I don't want anybody thinking it's easy. It does take time and it's hard work. HDTV wide-screen is nobody's friend!" Lopez marks the first Latina to be honored with the cover of People's 'Most Beautiful' issue, check out those beautiful folks who've graced the cover before her in our slideshow. The singer's recent release, "On the Floor" debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 and her next album, "Love?" is scheduled for release on May 3, 2011. Lopez is a current judge on "American Idol" and has starred in movies like "The Back-up Plan," "The Wedding Planner" and the 7-time Razzie Award-winning "Gigli." Lopez has two children with husband Marc Anthony, 3 year old twins named Emme and Max. Lopez thanked her fans on Twitter following the announcement, "Just wanted 2 thank all my #LOVE?RS 4 all the well wishes & support," Lopez wrote on the social networking site. "I'm so honored! I hope every1 has a beautiful day! See u 2nite on IDOL." Other stars who were honored in the "Most Beautiful" issue include Zac Efron, Reese Witherspoon, Jessica Simpson, Mandy Moore, Katie Holmes, Jennifer Hudson, "Twilight"'s Kellan Lutz, "Body of Proof"'s Dana Delany, Emma Stone, "The Office"'s Mindy Kaling and Ellie Kemper, Sandra Bullock, Jennifer Lawrence, Eva Longoria and Ryan Reynolds, who was also recently named People's Sexiest Man Alive.
