Royals say 'official' perfumes smell fishy
German perfume-maker Kim Weisswange recently unveiled two new fragrances she says were commissioned by Buckingham Palace for the upcoming royal wedding. Simply called "William" and "Catherine," Weisswange told The London Evening Standard that the scents "underline the [couple's] character and personalities." The Royal Family, however, says something about the perfumes smell fishy. A Palace source contacted by the Evening Standard turned up their nose at the idea that Prince William and Kate Middleton ordered the fragrances. He told the paper that while Weisswange contacted the family and offered her services, nothing was officially commissioned.
