Hilary Duff is celebrating her first wedding anniversary with a big announcement.
The actress wrote on her website on Sunday that she and husband Mike Comrie are expecting their first child together.
The 23-year-old actress is best known for her role as the lead character on the Disney Channel series "Lizzie McGuire." Duff also had a recurring role on "Gossip Girl" in 2009 and had guest roles on "Community" and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit."
"We also want to share the exciting news that BABY MAKES THREE!!! We are extremely happy and ready to start this new chapter of our lives," The actress wrote on her site. "Thanks to everyone for the continued love and support throughout the years!"
"Wow! I am just overwhelmed by all of the wonderful messages everyone is sending! Thank you so much! Big hugs! Xxo," Duff later wrote in a Tweet to her fans.
Duff and Comrie, a 30-year-old NHL player for the Pittsburgh Penguins, married on August 14, 2010.
