"Jersey Shore" fans will be excited while fans of "Dancing With The Stars" will be disappointed -- Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi revealed that they will begin filming her and Jenni "JWoww" Farley's upcoming spinoff show very soon but shot down rumors that she would join the cast of the ABC dancing show.
On Thursday, Snooki wrote on Twitter, "We're filming this fall!! WOHOOO," when asked when the show would premiere.
In regards to "Dancing With The Stars," Snooki told E! Online, "Nobody's ever asked me, and they're saying I'm holding out for money and stuff like that. I never even got asked to even do the show, so I don't know where that's coming from."
However, the diminutive star said that she might be up to the challenge in the future, telling the entertainment site, "I would but probably not right now because I'm so busy with everything that's going on."
ABC plans to announce the Season 13 "Dancing With The Stars" cast on Monday, August 29 during "Bachelor Pad," which airs at 8 p.m. ET. The season will kick off three weeks later on Monday, September 19, with a two-hour premiere.
MTV previously leaked details about Snooki and JWoww's upcoming spinoff show, revealing that it will follow the reality stars as they move in together.
"JWoww wants to move out of her house where she lived with her boyfriend, Snooki has to get out from her parent's wing, so they move in together," executive producer SallyAnn Salsano told Entertainment Weekly. "We're not buying them a house. It's real. They're really buying it. This is all new to Snooki - buying toilet paper, and paying a bill - things that seem normal to you and I are completely foreign to Snooks... The two of them alone is completely hysterical. They have a 'Laverne & Shirley' kind of thing."
"I always call it 'Snooki and JWoww Save the World,'" Salsano continued. "It's just letting them loose in the regular universe."
The network announced in April that they planned two "Jersey Shore" spinoff series, one starring Snooki and JWoWW and the other following Paul "DJ Pauly D" Delvecchio.
"Jersey Shore," which is MTV's No. 1 series of all time, was the top-rated cable series of 2010, breaking ratings records and becoming a pop culture phenomenon. The hugely popular series depicts a group of party-loving, self-proclaimed "Guidos and Guidettes."
The program's fourth season, which shows the cast on a trip to Italy, began airing on August 4. The "Jersey Shore" cast began filming season 5 in New Jersey in late June. In the new season, the cast works in an Italian pizzeria and tries to maintain their schedule of G.T.L., or gym, tanning and laundry, which is made more difficult with the language barrier.
The cast returned to the show's original location, Seaside Heights, New Jersey, for filming of the fifth season. Production for the new season began in late June, shortly after the cast returned from Italy.
