Katie Couric just may trade the news desk for the New Directions if she makes an appearance on "Glee." Sources tell
New York Post's Page Six that the 53-year-old "CBS Evening News Anchor" has landed a guest spot on the hit Fox series. "The deal is done, and Katie will make a cameo as herself. It will be filmed very soon," an insider tells Page Six, adding that perky Couric, a former cheerleader at Virginia's Yorktown High School, would reportedly share scenes with acerbic Cheerios coach Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch). Who knows? Maybe they'll even pair up for a "Sue's Corner" segment on WOHN News. Couric is expected to appear in the February 6 post-Super Bowl XLV episode of "Glee." She'd be far from the only famous face to stop by McKinley High - Britney Spears, Olivia Newton-John, Gwyneth Paltrow and John Stamos are just a few of the celebs who've also guest-starred.
