Christina moving forward

Quickly recovering from the news of her split last month from husband Jordan Bratman, Christina Aguilera is spotted out holding hands with her rumored new beau on November 21 and November 24 in Los Angeles. On the first sighting (on the left), Christina was spotting leaving her hotel with her new man after performing "Express" from Burlesque at the American Music Awards on Sunday, heading out again to the Abbey nightclub in West Hollywood on Wednesday, exiting with a red rose and lots of laughs as Christina and new man tried to make a quick exit to her SUV. Both nights out Christina started with black jeggings (can't go wrong with J Brand's 901 Legging in Pitch), topping off comfy tees with two different military jackets (make the trend work with Kill City's casual Military Coat in Army Green or Walter's more refined Military Band Coat in Moss). Christina also rocked a black studded tote the first night (like Linea Pelle's Perry Stud Large Tote in Black) and kept up her penchant with black studded boots the next night (try Farylrobin's Millie Military Boot in Dark Brown). Personally I think both looks are a little low-key for a night out, especially in Hollywood – what are your thoughts on Christina's style? As I'm sure you're all wondering, who exactly is this new guy she's holding hands with? A set assistant she met filming Burlesque, named Matthew Rutler. The two were first spotted out together on a double date with Nicole Richie and Joel Madden at Soho House on November 5, after which a source explained their relationship to People: "She met [Matthew] on [the Burlesque] set and, during a difficult time, leaned on as a friend. After she and Jordan separated, the friendship turned romantic.” But not so fast – Matt's own mother is defending Christina in this sitch, telling the paps: "I can tell you that they are absolutely not dating. Christina needs a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen to her problems, and that is exactly what Matthew is doing." Guess we'll have to see which direction this rebound goes!
