The debut of Two and a Half Men without Charlie Sheen and with new star Ashton Kutcher got crazy good ratings. Clearly, this time it’s the SHOW that’s WINNING.
Two and a Half Men’s season nine premiere drew 27.7 million viewers and also broke a record for the series as a whole with their large audience of men between 18-49. According to Deadline.com, It was the highest-rated season premiere on any network in 6 years.
ABC’s Dancing with the Stars suffered from the CBS buzz – It was down 24% from its debut last fall – making it the series’ lowest-rated opener ever.
NBC’s The Playboy Club was a network disappointment with just 5 million viewers at 10 PM. The program was tied with another show from years past as NBC’s lowest-rated fall drama premiere ever. Ouch
