Rihanna Releases Signature Perfume Reb'l Fleur

Rihanna has officially joined Hollywood’s club of perfumers with the debut of her new signature scent, Reb’l Fleur.

The scent, which shares a name with a tattoo the “What’s My Name” singer bears on her neck, apparently originates from a childhood nickname.

“My grandmother in Barbados used to call me her Rebel Flower,” the singer tells PEOPLE.

As for the perfume, the final mix has been described as “like heels with a short, flirty dress.”

“Over the years, I layered many different scents to get something that was truly my own,” she says. “But I wanted…something that said ‘Rihanna was here.’ Something delicious and special, a fragrance with subtle hints that linger and leave a sexy memory.”

The scent, which is concoction of ripe fruits, Hawaiian hibiscus and vanilla, is a reflection of Rihanna’s tropical roots. Reb’l Fleur hits stores on Jan. 25, priced at $49 for a 1.7 oz. bottle.
