BAFTA BEAUTIFUL

Kate Winslet was seen at the BAFTA headquarters on January 13 in London, fueling the rumors that she's going to be actively involved with the ceremony this year, which takes place on February 13. For her outfit, Kate tucked a simple yet chic black top (for a little extra glitz, try Jenny Han's Necklace Chain Tank in Black) into a high waisted tube skirt (like Tart's Jane Skirt in Black), and then slipped into a pair of Christian Louboutin peeptoe pumps. Keeping her makeup to a minimum and pulling her hair up, KW completed her outfit with a black clutch (try Julie K Handbags' Jessica Bag in Black) and a pair of gold hoop earrings. Alex and Ani's Signature Endless hoops w/ Smooth Oval Beads in Gold are gorgeous, and are more unique than your typical hoop earrings. This to me is the perfect example of timeless and classic dressing - and it doesn't hurt that Kate is one of the most talented and gorgeous actresses of our time. What are your thoughts, everyone? Kate recently began working on her latest project, the mini series "Mildred Pierce," and it seems that she's still getting adjusted to the long hours of working on a project like this. She says: "It never occurred to me, beyond the moment of reading those scripts, 'Wow, this is television, therefore it's going to be different somehow'. Sure, we have more to shoot... but the level of determination and level of focus was so much more intense than certainly any film I've ever been a part of." Kate continued, "Television is so much harder. It didn't affect the work ethic in any way other than we had more story to tell, which was a luxury, and less time to work to that goal.
