Playing up her girly side, Emma Roberts shines in a flirty lightweight look at the InStyle/Warner Bros. Golden Globe Awards Party on January 16 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills. At the event Em picked a gorgeous fluttery silk frock with an attached Swarovski crystal halter necklace (go girly in Sue Wong's Taffeta Petal Halter Dress in Champagne at your next event) paired with a champagne clutch embellished with a circle design (just like Whiting & Davis' Ribbon Long Flap Clutch in Ivory). Emma wore her hair pulled back and accented the look with delicate silver drop earrings (try Michele Michel's Heart Echo Earrings in Silver), completing the look with a pair of shiny metallic Brian Atwood "Maniac" pumps. As big of an Atwood fan as I am, I have to say I don't like the shoe choice with the dress – it sort of ends with a thud next to such an airy dress, don't you think? To lighten your look, try an open toed version like Coye Nokes' Grace D'Orsay in Gold. What are your thoughts on Emma's red carpet style, do you think she nailed this one or could she use some improvement? Though the awards season is just getting started, Emma has already been making the fashion rounds, attending the British Fashion Awards in London two weeks ago. At the event, Em chatted with the press about her favorite British celebs – none other than Prince William and Kate Middleton. She dished: "I'm very excited about the royal wedding. I think it's going to be amazing. Both the princes are so handsome. If Harry needs a date to the wedding, I'll do it." If I were Harry, I'd definitely be taking her up on that offer!
