Stephanie Tanner is getting married. To clarify: The actress who played her on "Full House." People reports that ex-child star Jodie Sweetin has accepted a proposal from Morty Coyle, the father of her 5-month-old daughter Beatrix.
"It was a complete surprise," Sweetin tells the magazine. "We are just thrilled and I am in shock still!"

Coyle popped the question on her 29th birthday party at the Kibitz Room in Los Angeles before a room full of guests (including Beatrix). As for the ring, it sounds like a less regal ringer for Kate Middleton's heirloom sparkler: It's a 2 1/2-carat oval sapphire, encrusted with 18 diamonds in a snowflake design, and "one of a kind," Coyle says.
Sweetin fell for the deejay following her divorce from second husband, Cody Herpin, with whom she has another daughter, Zoie, 2. She was previously married to police officer Shaun Holguin but that fell apart as she spiraled into crystal meth addiction. She entered rehab in 2005.
Like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Sweetin and Coyle are waiting to tie the knot until gay marriage is legalized across the U.S. They know that might not happen for a while.

"We were absolutely committed before this, anyway. We're just so excited.," she says, to which Coyle adds: "Just because we weren't married doesn't mean she doesn't deserve the ring."
When the Big Day finally arrives, expect an appearance from Sweetin's TV dad Bob Saget.
Will he give Stephanie Sweetin a pep talk for old times' sake? Walk her down the aisle?! We're getting ahead of ourselves here.
