The royal romance of Prince William and Kate Middleton will be getting the Lifetime movie treatment, according to Entertainment Weekly.
The film is set to air before the royal wedding on April 29 and will show how "the friendship between Prince William, second in line to the throne of the British monarchy, and future princess Kate Middleton, the stunning daughter of upper middle-class commoners, blossomed into a romantic love affair, charming the world with their recent engagement and eagerly awaited Royal Wedding."
While the role of Kate Middleton has not been cast, actor Nico Evers-Swindell, who has had guest roles in "NCIS: Los Angeles" and "Law & Order," will play Prince William. "Chariots of Fire" actor Ben Cross will play Prince Charles.
Production on the film is set to begin in February.
