'American Pie' star Jason Biggs' wife writes about hiring them a prostitute

Jason Biggs is perhaps best remembered for an unfortunate incident with baked goods in "American Pie," but the actors wife recently shared a more intimate look at the actor's sex life.

Biggs met "Angel" actress Jenny Mollen on the set of his 2008 comedy, "My Best Friend's Girl" and they were married her later that year. For the actor's birthday, Mollen attempted to hire a prostitute to engage in a threesome and detailed account of the event on Playboy magazine's humor website, The Smoking Jacket.

Mollen explained that her good friend encouraged her to book a massage therapist and insisted that once plied with alcohol she would "do whatever" they wanted. Naturally, this plan ended in embarrassment and with nothing more than a massage and a drunken masseuse.

The couple were scheduled to go to Las Vegas the following day for a friend's surprise party, where Mollen continued on her quest by calling an escort who appeared in her photo to be "a thin brunette with elbows for boobs." In real like, Mollen wrote, she was three feet tall.

The second attempt went as badly as the first when Biggs couldn't take enough money out of an ATM machine. They eventually hired a professional who Mollen said helped "rekindle" something between the couple.

"Even though the actual act was relatively boring and a financial bust, the reliving of it grew hotter and hotter in my mind," Mollen wrote. "Something was rekindled between us. Or perhaps something blossomed that was never there before. I don't know which it was, but I felt closer."

Mollen has appeared in films like "Crazy, Stupid, Love," "Kidnapping Caitlynn," "D.E.B.S." and the Dane Cook-Kate Hudson comedy "My Best Friend's Girl," where she met his Biggs.

Biggs has appeared in several films since "American Pie," including "Jersey Girl," "Saving Silverman" and "Wedding Daze." In 2011, he began starring in the television series "Mad Love" with Sarah Chalke.

He also filmed the movies "BBF & Baby" with Mollen and Kate Bosworth and "Grassroots" with "How I Met Your Mother" star Cobie Smulders which are both set for release in 2012.

Biggs will reprise his iconic Jim Levenstein character in "American Reunion," which is set to hit theaters in January 2012 and tells of Jim and Michelle Levenstein's life as a married couple with a child.

The original cast including Shannon Elizabeth, Chris Klein, Alyson Hannigan, Seann William Scott and Tara Reid have also signed on for the sequel. Filming of "American Reunion" recently began in Atlanta. The script was written by Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg ("Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle"), who will also direct the film.

Fellow "American Pie" actors Thomas Ian Nicholas, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Mena Suvari, Eugene Levy and Jennifer Coolidge have also recently confirmed their involvement in "American Reunion," completing the core cast.

Two big-screen sequels, "American Pie 2" and "American Wedding" were released, as were several DVD spinoff films. This will be the franchise's first film to be released in theaters since 2003.
