A LOVE WITH MATTHEW

Enjoying her time abroad, Christina Aguilera exits her hotel with new beau Matthew Rutler in London on December 11. Christina's new man has been accompanying her on her international press tour for Burlesque, making appearances in Japan, Paris, and Berlin over the past few weeks. Guess he hasn't found work since becoming Christina's full time man after she filed for divorce from Jordan Bratman in October? On this occasion Christina was heading off to prep for her appearance on The X Factor finale, where she performed a duet with finalist Rebecca Ferguson (unfortunately, she didn't win). In between the London premiere of Burlesque and her performance, Matt and Christina enjoyed a night out at Mahiki nightclub, where they were spotted departing in the wee hours of the night on Friday. Looks like things are moving along just fine for this new couple! While heading off to the show, Christina dressed casually in black leggings (try Ella Moss' comfy terry Paz Legging in Black) with a white hankerchief hem top (like Rebel Yell's White Eagle Tee in White) and an edgy black leather jacket (try Muu Baa's Double Zip Relax Jacket in Black). Christina layered up in all black accessories, from her fedora (similar to Lucky Brand's Suede Hat in Black), oversized sunnies, cashmere scarf (check out Lucky Brand's Soft Shore Scarf in Black) and even her coffee cup. As a final touch, Christina accented the look with fun leopard print heels, crimson lipstick and a matching manicure. What do you think of her casual look, are the leggings still working for her? I'm getting sick of seeing the same thing over and over, but I do think that for some reason this rendition looks more polished than usual. Maybe she just appears more confident holding Matt's hand wherever she goes? While some are speculating Christina is moving on a little fast from her five year marriage, she recently opened up to People to explain how their relationship began: “Matthew is a special person. We had a really strong friendship on the movie. He’s the kind of person you could spend hours on the phone talking to and all of a sudden it’s daylight… Once I filed for divorce, we started dating. I’m not trying to jump into anything. I just left a five-year marriage. I’m taking it slow and trying to be happy.” As for whether or not they have a future together, she continued: "There’s a love there, yes. I’m having fun, I’m dating and it’s something I haven’t had in a really long time." I guess we'll just have to wait and see where this goes – and look out for more candid interviews!
