CATCHING UP WITH AN OLD FRIEND

Whitney Port was seen at a dinner celebrating Who What Wear's new book, held at Il Sole in West Hollywood on March 10. Whit was photographed at the beginning of the evening in the photo on the left, and then leaving the soiree (which presumably was after dinner, hence her lack of lipstick). Don't you think Whit would know that there would be paparazzi waiting for her outside, and thus opt for a quick lip touch up before heading out? Either way, Whitney chose a heavily embellished long sleeve dress for her night out - for something in a similar silhouette here on CoutureCandy, try Hale Bob's Sequin Dress in Multi; Meghan Los Angeles' Katrina Dress in Black/Grey and November Dress in Grey are similar in color to WP's frock. From there, Whitney opted for eye-catching booties and a brown clutch (try Inge Christopher's Donatella Honey Leather Clutch in Dark Copper). What are your thoughts on Whitney's dinner party outfit, everyone - and is it just me, or does WP's hair look slightly red here? I definitely prefer her a bit blonder. It seems that in addition to launching a new book, this dinner served as a reunion for Whitney and her former "Hills" co-star Lauren Conrad. Having dealt with recent rumors that the two were enemies, Whitney posted a few pictures on her blog of her happy reunion with Lauren. Whitney added: "I ran into Lauren and I was so happy to see her! It was nice to catch up - with both of our busy schedules, we don't have to time to chat as often as we'd like to. We were so excited to see each other that we had to have a little blackberry photo shoot. Lauren took these pics and I made her send them to me as soon as I got home." Very cute! Love to see that these two are hanging out once again.
