GOLDEN GLOBE KICKOFF

Zoe Saldana looked positively radiant as she attended the Audi and J. Mendel party that was the official kick off to Golden Globe Week and held at Cecconi's Restaurant in West Hollywood on January 9. Dressed (of course) in a strapless J. Mendel mini (for two cute strapless mini dresses, check out Sue Wong's Ostrich Feather Short Dress in Ivory or Luc by Lucy's Cut Out Bella Dress in White), Saldana accessorized with bordeaux peeptoe Brian Atwood heels, a few gold bangles (try Danielle Stevens Jewelry's Green Glass and Chain Bracelet) and a metallic bronze clutch (super similar to Inge Christopher's Armadillo Trapezoid Clutch in Bronze). Loose waves and shimmering makeup completed ZS' ensemble. Are you a fan? Zoe is speaking out about her intense turn as a sexual assault victim who seeks out her attacker in Burning Palms, an indie film consisting of five stories that all take place in LA. Of the role, Saldana says: "I was intrigued. I was really intrigued with [director] Chris Landon, because he's so honest in terms of the arc. He wasn't afraid to expose the artistic dark side of how life can sometimes be. One thing that really interests him is the psychological journey; why people accept things, why people react in certain ways." Have any of you checked out the film?
