NEW YEAR, NEW HAIR

Olivia Wilde debuts her new bangs with a dash of disheveled sexiness at W Magazine's Celebration of the Best Performances Issue and the Golden Globes at Chateau Marmont on January 14 in Los Angeles. The Tron: Legacy starlet showed off her new look with barely there makeup, something she's done before and can definitely pull off with her perfect unblemished skin. So unfair! O posed for the photogs in a glamorous gold ALC gown with a nude bandage bodice (try Sue Wong's Ribbon Mermaid Maxi in Champagne or go for a shorter gold frock like Sue Wong's Antique Embroidered Bubble Dress in Gold) paired with a textured metallic Ferragamo clutch (similar to Inge Christopher's Multi Metallic Boa Minaudiere). Olivia added a gold ring and delicate gold bracelet to complete the look (check out Anna Beck's versatile Java Studded Square Ring in Gold with Calico Juno Designs' whimsical Hammered Curls Bracelet in Gold). What do you think of Olivia's downplayed dramatic look, are you a fan? I wish the top of the dress was slightly more cleavage friendly, but otherwise I think she's got a very tasteful look here. Thoughts? I definitely have to say Olivia's dramatic ball gown was by far one of my favorites at the Golden Globes this year, and I love it even more because I definitely wasn't expect that kind of drama from Olivia. Her usual red carpet choices are much more safe, so to see her shine in something that isn't black definitely perked up the red carpet fashion for me! What celebrity looks were your favorite this year?
