Looking lovely as ever, Taylor Swift kicks off the 2011 awards season at the Nokia Theatre in downtown LA at the People's Choice Awards on January 5. Taylor walked the blue carpet in an angelic J Mendel mini in a glowing peach tone (if you love the shade try Luc by Lucy's Tiered Bow Tully Dress in Peach or Sue Wong's Lacy Godet Mini in Peach). What do you think of the asymmetrical bodice? I love the soft hue, but I'm not sure it works with her skintone – thoughts? T complemented the frock with nude strappy Prada heels (add some texture with Coye Nokes' Joan Bootie in Sabbia Embossed Python) and a pale coral beaded bracelet (try Amy DiGregorio's delicate Assonet Bay Bracelet in Rose Quartz), adding a dash of fiery red lipstick and a few curls around her face to complete the look. What do you think, is this one of her more flattering ensembles or do you think a darker shade would have been better? Taylor picked up the award for Favorite Country Artist at the show – but as 2010's top selling artist, that's not surprising! From the awards show, T made a quick wardrobe change and arrived in a curve hugging LBD at CoverGirl's 50th Anniversary Celebration at Boa Steakhouse in West Hollywood. At the end of the night, Taylor shared her appreciation for her fans via Twitter: “Thank you SO much for the Peoples Choice Award! It’s sitting here all sparkly in my hotel room. I love you guys.” Always a sweetheart!
