Fresh faced after a long flight from London, Emma Watson looks happy to be back in the US after touching down at Los Angeles International Airport on December 31. With her daring pixie cut freshly touched up, Em strolled out of the terminal in a casual wintery look, starting with comfy black flats (I love Farylrobin's quirky Gladys Mary Jane Flat in Black), black skinny jeans (can't go wrong with J Brand's classic 901 Legging in Pitch), and a black and white top mixing stripes and polka dots (keep it casual with Gold Hawk's Stripe Square Tee in Black/White). Emma topped off the look with a navy peacoat (I'm sure she would approve of Burning Torch's eco-friendly Long Recycled Cashmere Jacket in Navy), traveling with light luggage for her New Year's stay in LA. What do you think of her casual cold weather style? I don't know how you feel about her hair now that the initial shock has passed, but I still feel this is a look that works for her features. She's got a cute little mod thing going on with the coat and flats, IMO. Emma likes to keep her fans abreast of her travels when she's not bogged down with school, and after returning home from Brown University the Harry Potter starlet took to her Facebook account to touch base with fans: "Hi guys, are you all ready for Christmas? Not long to go now... Exams all done and I’m back in the UK in 6 inches of snow. Currently at Leavesden filming reshoots with Dan and Rupert. Feels strange to be back!" When I first saw the end of her comment, I thought she was saying it feels strange to be back in the US – but apparently she's growing quite used to her new home! Did any of you have a chance to return to your hometowns over the holiday break?

STRANGE TO BE BACK
