Condoleezza Rice to guest star on '30 Rock'

Condoleezza Rice will appear on a future episode of "30 Rock," Tina Fey revealed at a recent book signing for her new memoir, "Bossypants," reports The Washington Post. Rice's spokesperson confirmed the appearance to The Wrap, adding that the former Secretary of State had taped her appearance on the show in March. Rice was named as one of Jack Donaghy's (Alec Baldwin) love interests in season one. In an episode titled "The Break Up," Donaghy keeps the affair a secret, but gets upset when he sees Rice with Vladimir Putin and they eventually broke up. Rice was the first African-American Secretary of State and the second woman, after Madeleine Albright. Rice was also President George W. Bush's National Security Advisor during his first term. Before joining the Bush administration, she was a political science professor at Stanford University. She returned to Stanford in 2009 and became a faculty member at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and director of its Global Center for Business and the Economy in 2010. "30 Rock" has had several A-list guest stars drop by the show including Susan Sarandon, Tom Hanks, Elizabeth Banks, Steve Martin, James Franco, Edie Falco, Jerry Seinfeld and Matt Damon.
