Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux move in together

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have taken their relationship to the next level and moved in together.

"They decided to rent a house together while they keep searching for the perfect [one] to buy," a source told People magazine. "Jen and Justin are very excited about living together in their new home."

The couple has reportedly been house-hunting since July, but have been living in the two-bedroom Hollywood Hills rental house since August 1, while they keep looking for the perfect home.

The actress moved out of her Beverly Hills home in July after deciding she needed to "simplify" her life. The property sold for $38 million.

The couple recently took a romantic trip to Hawaii, where they helped actor Ben Stiller and his wife Christine Taylor celebrate Taylor's 40th birthday at the couple's oceanfront home.

Aniston, 42, and Theroux, 39, have been romantically linked since May. Photographer Terry Richardson recently gave fans a glimpse of the happy couple snuggling in New York.

At the time, it was rumored that Theroux had broken up with his girlfriend of 14 years, costume designer Heidi Bivens, in order to date the actress. People magazine reports that the previous relationship was over before the couple began dating.

"I know people are saying Jen broke them up, but they had been on-and-off for years," a source close to Theroux told People.

Meanwhile, a source close to Aniston says the actress would "never hook up with a guy who has a girlfriend," adding that Aniston is "very happy with Justin."

Last week, Aniston and Theroux were photographed wearing matching name-plate rings on their ring fingers while leaving the Gramercy Park Hotel in New York.

Aniston recently appeared in the comedy "Horrible Bosses" opposite Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis, Charlie Day, Kevin Spacey and Colin Farrell. The movie follows three frustrated employees who plot to murder their awful bosses.

Aniston will next appear opposite Paul Rudd in the comedy "Wanderlust," about an urban couple who leaves the city to try a counter-culture lifestyle. Theroux also stars in the film, which is slated for release on October 7, 2011.
