It's official! Kim Kardashian will be walking down the aisle dressed in a Vera Wang wedding gown, the reality star confirmed on her official website."Vera has been a close family friend for a long time and we had talked about this moment for years," Kardashian wrote. "When it came to picking my wedding dress designer she was the first person I thought of. No one designs gowns the way she does!"
She added, "I know that Vera can make my dream come true and create the most perfect gown for my special day."
Wang has designed wedding gowns for several celebrities including Alicia Keys, Jennifer Garner, Victoria Beckham and Kim Kardashian's sister Khloe Kardashian.
Kim Kardashian is set to wed Kris Humphries on August 20. The couple was spotted shopping for wedding cakes in Los Angeles on Friday.
Images of the couple's wedding invitation emerged online last week.
The invitations were designed by Lehr & Black, who also designed invitations for her sister Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, Fergie and Josh Duhamel, Heidi Klum and Seal and Britney Spears and Kevin Federline, among others.
Kardashian celebrated her bachelorette party in Las Vegas on July 23 and ended up crashing Humphries' bachelor party. The 30-year-old reality star celebrated her final few weeks of single life at Tao Las Vegas with friends and sisters Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian.
Kardashian and Humphries began dating in December 2010 and the basketball player proposed in May with a $1 million, 20.5 carat engagement ring.
