Bob Dylan, Dr. Dre to perform at Grammy Awards

Bob Dylan and rapper Dr. Dre have joined the list of performers for the 2011 Grammy Awards, set to take place and air live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 13, on CBS.

Dylan, a legendary 69-year-old rock singer, joins music veterans Barbra Streisand and Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones as well as Christina Aguilera. All are former Grammy winners.

Dylan is set to perform with folk-rock band the Avett Brothers and Mumford & Sons in a special salute to acoustic music, the Recording Academy said in a statement.

Meanwhile, Dr. Dre will join Eminem for a "historic collaboration," along with Adam Levine of the rock group Maroon 5. This will mark Dr. Dre's first live television performance in more than 10 years, it added.

Aguilera, "American Idol" alum Jennifer Hudson, country singer Martina McBride, Yolanda Adams and Florence Welch will perform a tribute to Aretha Franklin "as a 'valentine'" and 'get-well card'" to the Queen of Soul, who underwent surgery in December for an undisclosed ailment amid rumors she may be battling cancer.

She has since said she is in excellent health, the Recording Academy stated. The segment will feature individual and collective performances of some of Franklin's hits.

Others set to perform at the 2011 Grammys include Arcade Fire, Eminem, Lady Antebellum, Lady Gaga, Miranda Lambert, Muse, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber with Usher and Jaden Smith, B.o.B, Bruno Mars, Janelle Monae, Drake with Rihanna and Cee Lo Green with actress Gwyneth Paltrow and the Jim Henson Company Puppets.

Presenters include Zac Brown, actress Eva Longoria, Jennifer Lopez and Ryan Seacrest of "American Idol" judge Jennifer Lopez, Lopez's husband and singer Marc Anthony, singer Ricky Martin, Green Bay Packers linebacker and Super Bowl XLV champion Clay Matthews, Matthew Morrison of the hit musical comedy show "Glee", actor Jason Segel, country singer Keith Urban, will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas, Dierks Bentley,Miley Cyrus, Jamie Foxx, Selena Gomez, Neil Patrick Harris, Jewel, Norah Jones, Kris Kristofferson, John Legend, LL Cool J, John Mayer, Nicki Minaj, Paramore, Pauley Perrette, Seth Rogen, Blake Shelton and Donnie Wahlberg.
