NBC has found its Wonder Woman.The network has announced that "Friday Night Lights" star Adrianne Palicki will play the Amazing Amazon in David E. Kelley's upcoming "Wonder Woman" pilot.
Palicki, who played Tyra on "Friday Night Lights," previously appeared in Fox's quickly canceled "Lone Star" series, and will be seen in the upcoming "Red Dawn" remake.
Lynda Carter famously sported Wonder Woman's eagle bustier, star-studded short-shorts, bullet-deflecting bracelets and magic lasso in ABC's campy 1970s series.
The NBC show will star Palicki as the superhero's alter ego Diana Prince, who juggles being a crime fighter, corporate executive and modern woman, according to a post on DC Comics' The Source blog.
