In addition, Katie's short appearance in "The Son of No One" was criticized as a poor performance and a miscast.Alas, Katie Holmes may have some reprieve, her new film, "Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark, finally received a release date.
Katie Holmes and Guy Pearce both star in a remake of a 1973 television movie about a young girl who stirs up demonic troubles after moving in with her father and his new girlfriend, Hollywood News writes.
Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark was one of the movies that had been shelved after Disney sold Miramax last year.
However, after premiering at the Comic Con last year, the movie was scheduled for an original date release date this past January, Celebrity-Gossip reports.
